Kael's words hung in the air, leaving Lyra feeling both intrigued and intimidated. She tried to process what he had just said, but her mind was a jumble of questions and fears.
"Who are you?" Lyra repeated, trying to keep her voice firm. "What do you want from me?"
Kael's smile faltered, and for a moment, Lyra saw something else in his eyes. Something darker, more sinister.
"I'm someone who can help you," Kael said, his voice low and husky. "Someone who can show you the truth about yourself and your past."
Lyra's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"
Kael took a step closer, his eyes burning with intensity. "You don't know who you are, Lyra," he said. "You don't know what you're capable of."
Lyra felt a shiver run down her spine. What was Kael talking about? And how did he know so much about her?
Suddenly, Lyra heard a noise behind her. She spun around, but there was no one there. The room was silent, except for the sound of her own ragged breathing.
Kael's eyes flicked to something behind Lyra, and his expression changed. For a moment, Lyra saw a flash of concern, of warning.
"What is it?" Lyra asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kael's eyes locked onto hers. "We need to get out of here," he said. "Now."
Lyra's heart skipped a beat. What was going on? And why did Kael seem so urgent?
But before she could ask any questions, Kael reached out and grabbed her arm, pulling her towards the door.
"Come on," he said, his voice low and urgent. "We don't have much time."
Lyra felt a surge of fear mixed with adrenaline. What was happening? And where was Kael taking her?
