Chapter 6: Morning Surprises

Ethan woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside his window, their melody blending with the hum of the early morning city. He stretched and groggily glanced at the clock on his bedside table. 6:30 AM. Perfect time to start the day.

As he sat up, the familiar mechanical voice of the system echoed in his mind:

Ding! Daily sign-in successful. Reward: Enchanted Vision Glasses.

Before Ethan could process the notification, a sleek pair of glasses materialized in his hand. They had a polished black frame with faintly glowing blue lenses. Picking them up, he slid them onto his face, curious about their capabilities.

Enchanted Vision Glasses:

Allows the user to zoom in on objects with perfect clarity, up to 50x magnification.

Can adjust light to enhance vision in low-light or overly bright environments.

Can identify weak points in structures with extended focus.

Ethan grinned. "This is actually amazing. Practical and futuristic." He tested the glasses by looking across the room, zooming in on the small text of a book's spine on his shelf. The clarity was astonishing.

"Well, that's one useful tool," he said, setting them aside for now.

After washing up and grabbing a quick breakfast, Ethan opened his laptop to check on the progress of Harry Potter. He had spent hours last night writing five more chapters, introducing key moments like Harry's arrival at Hogwarts and the Sorting Hat ceremony.

When the page loaded, his eyes widened. The view count had doubled since the last time he checked, and the comment section was overflowing with reactions.

He eagerly scrolled through the comments:

MagicalReads: "You're spoiling us with five chapters at once! The world feels so alive, like I'm actually there. MORE PLEASE!"

ReadAddict: "I need more! The Sorting Hat scene gave me chills. Who is this Harry Potter? I have to know!"

FantasyFan42: "Bro, you're seriously a genius. I've never read anything like this before. I can't wait for the next update!"

WandaReadsBooks: "Can you upload faster? This story is driving me crazy in a good way! Take my money already!"

Ethan chuckled as he read the comments, a warm feeling of pride spreading through him. "I didn't expect this level of response," he muttered. The sheer enthusiasm from his readers was overwhelming, but it fueled his determination.

Suddenly, his phone buzzed. It was a message from one of his classmates, Sean, a laid-back guy Ethan had casually befriended during orientation.

Sean: Yo, Ward! You writing for some secret club or what? Saw your name trending on the writing platform. You're blowing up, dude.

Ethan smirked and replied: Just a little project I'm working on. Didn't think people would notice so quickly.

Sean: Little project? Bro, you're about to be famous! Don't forget us peasants when you're the next big thing.

Ethan shook his head, amused. His rise as a writer in this world was starting to feel real.

Later that morning, Ethan decided to get some fresh air and headed to a nearby park with his notebook and enchanted glasses in tow. Sitting on a bench under the shade of a large tree, he began brainstorming ideas for the next chapters. The enchanted glasses came in handy as he observed tiny details around him, like the texture of leaves or the playful movements of birds in the distance.

As he wrote, an elderly man walking his dog stopped nearby, peeking curiously at Ethan's notebook. "You're quite focused there, young man," the man said with a kind smile.

Ethan looked up and returned the smile. "Just working on a story, sir."

"A writer, huh? That's a rare sight these days," the man remarked. "I used to dabble in poetry when I was your age. What kind of story are you writing?"

Ethan hesitated for a moment before replying, "It's a fantasy story about a boy who discovers he's a wizard and goes on an adventure to a magical school."

The man's eyes twinkled. "Sounds like something my granddaughter would love. Keep it up, son. The world always needs more stories."

"Thank you," Ethan said, feeling a bit more confident.

When he returned home in the afternoon, Ethan uploaded another chapter to Harry Potter. This one detailed Harry's first magical lesson and the bond forming between him, Ron, and Hermione.

The reactions came almost instantly:

LumosReader: "This chapter was GOLD. The characters feel so real! What's next?!"

MagicFanatic: "Please, please, PLEASE upload faster! I'm dying to see what Harry does next."

BookLover88: "If this becomes a real book, I'm buying it. Hands down the best story I've read in ages."

Ethan smiled. He was starting to carve a place for himself in this new world, one chapter at a time.
