- Takumi POV -
My name is Takumi Kageyama, and I am a 17 year old male. I am a student at Matsukaze High School, and am an average student on the surface. Beneath that however, I have extensive knowledge on all fields of study, and possess a perfect memory.
At the time of my birth, my mother was 16 years old, and my father was 18 years old. Shortly after my birth, approximately 6 months after, my father had perished in a car crash. As a result, leaving my mother to fend for both herself and my 6 month old self. Placing a tremendous burden on her, and making life all the more difficult.
Life was going well, and I worked all the more harder so that I could support my mother. However, not all things were meant to last. As just two months ago, I'd received a call stating that my mother had passed away. The cause? It was overwork. She'd simply worked to the point where she'd completely burnt herself out, and paid her life as a cost.
'Mom... I miss you..' I thought to myself.
- Two Weeks Later -
School had just ended, and I've just finished packing my bag. Sighing, I throw my bag over my shoulder and begin leaving school grounds. The light which once shone in my eyes was now gone. My eyes now dull and completely dead, as I merely continue to walk.
*honk* *honk*
'Huh?' I thought momentarily as I looked up, my eyes widening.
A little girl was crossing the road, the light flashing red. Then I looked over to the right and noticed a truck closing in. In a panic, I threw my bag to the side and jumped out. Pushing the girl aside, and saving her from getting hit.
*thud*
Instead getting hit instead, I get sent flying. My body battered and broken, I couldn't even speak as I merely heard the screams of those around me as they called for an ambulance. The girl I saved crying over my body as my vision disappeared.
'I guess I'm dead... well, I lived a somewhat decent life. But I guess... that I'll now get to meet mom.' I thought to myself.
"Greetings Takumi Kageyama, and welcome to my domain!" A voice called out, capturing my attention.
"Who are you?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at the unknown figure.
"Calm down, I bear no ill will against you. And as for who I am? In simple terms, I go by many names: God, Yahweh, Eloheim. But I suppose that you can just call me Kagami." The figure, now identified as Kagami - or God - had stated.
"I see... but what do you want with me?" I asked out of pure curiosity.
"What do I want with you? Oh, well that's fairly simple. As compensation for your early and unintended demise, I'll be granting you a second chance at life. Reincarnating you into another world. And before you ask about which world, it shall be decided by this wheel here!"
As he said this, I turned towards a wheel containing the names of several fictional worlds.
The Beginning After The End, Classroom of the Elite, Re: Zero, Tokyo Ghoul, High School DxD, Bleach, Naruto...
"I see..." I said, walking over to the wheel before spinning it. Watching it spin was breath-taking and anxiety-inducing.
*ding*
"Congratulations Takumi, you've landed on the 'Classroom of the Elite' tile! As such, you'll be reincarnated into the world of Classroom of the Elite. As for your identity, that will be entirely random." Kagami stated as I stared at him.
"Okay? So shall we get started with this?" I asked, receiving a nod from Kagami.
"Indeed." As he then clapped his hands, resulting in my vision once again disappearing.
- Kagami POV -
"Good luck on your journey Takumi, I hope you enjoy your new life." I said with a smile.
Looking down, my smile turned sad. 'Unfortunately, I was unable to prevent your death in your past life, but this time around, I'll make sure you enjoy yourself. As such, I've given you another gift to help you in your new life.'
