A long time ago, the Lunaria Hunters pack was one of the most powerful lycan packs this world has ever seen, considered the best hunters, they lived a life full of glory and respect, having hundreds of members in their powerful pack. There was no distinction between males and females and they hunted side by side, while feasting on powerful prey and increasing their power... But with the arrival of the first disasters that this world faced, the Lunaria Hunters pack faced its first steady decline, being targeted by other packs and even humans and other races who sought revenge.
Realizing how serious the problems their world faced were, and without much choice, the Lunaria Hunters pack joined the Aqua tribe. A powerful tribe of humans that ruled a large part of the seas of this world. But with the constant decline of the inhabitants of this world, as well as the scarcity of food, water and safe places to live, the Tribe took refuge in a set of caves by the sea. After hundreds of years of living like cave rats, both humans and powerful lycans had declined to their current weakest point and were now facing serious problems due to their weaknesses.
The Aqua Tribe humans who once controlled the 4 elements using 4 powerful relics now only had 1 Relic left. And the powerful lycans who once terrorized the world now barely had 2-3 dozen males who could fight. And their females who once fought side by side with the males were now reduced to just the function of constantly breeding, desperately trying to maintain their constantly declining numbers. Of course, none of them remembered their glorious past that had now been practically lost over the centuries. The human High Priestess was the only one who still had records and memories of the past of both groups, but she kept this past a secret, as it was the lycans in their quest for power that led the humans to lose all of their other 3 Relics…

Natasha was sitting on her knees on the floor, her eyes staring into space as if she had lost all will to live... On her right arm a bite was slowly healing, showing that she had been successfully transformed into a Lycan. Her dreams, ambitions and many new innovative ideas that she had hoped to realize by becoming a priestess of the Aqua Tribe were all in vain. Now all that awaited her was an exhausting life as a female of the pack, with the only function of having children and taking care of them.
Suddenly the young man next to her held her hand trying to comfort her, they had been friends since childhood and now he also had a bite on his right arm that was healing. The warmth of his touch made Natasha come out of her torpor and despair and look at Ivan who now had black hair and yellowish lupine eyes, for her who had always been an orphan Ivan was the closest thing to a relative she had. At that moment she looked down and saw that her long hair, previously royal blue, was also changing color, becoming black like Ivan's. This bluish coloring was a trait of all those born into the Aqua Tribe. There were reports that it was one of the passive effects of the powerful Water Relic.
Today, all the young people who would turn 17 during the course of this year were gathered together, and they would be bitten by the current Alpha of the Lycans and leader of the Tribe's Hunters. This transformation through the bite was a method due to the rare birth of pure Lycan children. For the men, if the bite transformed them into Lycans, it was a reason to celebrate, it meant becoming a Hunter who had a position of great power and respect within the Tribe. The Hunters were the only ones who left the Tribe's caves to hunt, and they were also the only men who could marry Lycan females. Failing to become one meant that you would be an ordinary human, working as a fisherman and other manual labor within the Tribe. They could also only marry retired priestesses, who would mostly have already passed their fertility period, making it impossible for them to have descendants.
This was a necessary measure, so that there would always be more hunters, since they died very frequently, and it also prevented common men from having excess human offspring, causing a smaller number of creations of new werewolves through bites or even death. Since if the person was not a direct descendant there was a greater chance of dying during the bite. The High Priestess of the human tribe agreed with this method, using the false premise that the power of water could only be used by virgins and maintaining strict birth control to prevent the scarce resources of the cave where the tribe lived from running out.
Still upset, Natasha got up, planning to leave the place, while some thoughts went through her head... She still had a year until her first heat would start and she would have to marry someone against her will. She quickly glanced at Ivan, her childhood friend, and thought that it wouldn't be so bad if it were him. But these thoughts soon left her mind as she thought of the many plans she had made to use the power of controlling water that the priestesses had. They used this power only to heal, take care of the cleaning of the underground lakes and help the fishermen, but Natasha had bold thoughts of using this power for combat, using some items that she herself had created, but now everything was in vain, would she give up? Would she accept her fate? Would she run away? While all these thoughts went through her head, a fisherman came screaming into the hall.
