Once tightly wrapped around her slim figure, her blue robe slipped from her shoulders, pooling softly at her feet.
Then, she loosened her white inner robe, allowing it to slide down her frame before it, too, gathered at her feet.
Lowering herself onto the bed's edge, she reached down to remove her shoes, embroidered in silk slippers. She slipped them off one by one, revealing her smooth, soft feet against the cool floor.
With quiet resolve, she stood again, her fingers finding the ties of her last layer of clothing. Her purple undergarments, light and thin like a second skin, were the only barrier left.
Slowly, she loosened them, letting the fabric slide down the length of her jade legs until they, too, joined the pile of discarded garments.

Just then, footsteps echoed from the hallway. The door opened, and Xiao Lan, one of the shop's assistants, stepped inside.
"Manager, " Her voice caught in her throat.
Her eyes widened in horror. Manager Xu was slumped over his desk, blood dripping onto the wooden floor.
Her breath hitched. H-he's dead?! But Who killed him?
Meanwhile, high above the city, Su Mei summoned her flying boat. She stepped on it and with a flick of her wrist, the boat shot forward at full speed.
Her gaze remained fixed ahead. There was no need to look back. She also had a sect mission to complete.
