"What will I use to lure the virus", I asked the empress next morning.
"You have to use your imagination. Once you wake up the virus, it will definitely chase after you throughout the realm. It might be smart but once it sees you it will remember its goal to destroy you and will forget about this realm. So, in this time you'll have to run to the recycle bin and trap him inside. Now, are you ready", the empress said.
I glanced down at the keyboard in my one hand and a lot of food and supplies in my bag. I knew I could easily get some with the keyboard's magic but during a mission, food must always be kept readily. "Yes, I'm ready", I said.
"Then, you have our prayers", the empress, said bowing down, which also made me feel a bit awkward. I bowed in return and left on my journey.
When I got on the ground again, I tried my power for the first time. I took the keyboard and grasped it firmly in my hand. Then, I clicked the [SHIFT] button and started jogging a few steps. It happened so fast. It was so quick and startling that I immediately let go of the button after 2 seconds of pressing it. After I recovered from my dizziness, I looked back. I had traveled almost a whole kilometer! I could still see the palace from that far. Then, I prepared myself for the next step. This time I pressed the button and controlled myself for what seemed like an entire minute. Then, I looked around to see that the palace had become smaller than a speck of dirt. Amazed, I clicked the button again and began to run.
Though the button helped me move really fast, it seemed like it took around 10 hours to reach the Far East End of the world. That would mean it was more than trillions of kilometers away. It looked terrifying. And as I stood there around 10 km away from it I could see a big black-coloured virus snoring away. It had sharp, spiky projection and it was almost as big as the palace. It was so huge I almost thought it could jump over the Firewall. Speaking of the Firewall, it had ended. It was almost as if it had disappeared exactly at the Far East End. The East End was on a kind of island and below that island, I could see a dark abyss. I pressed [SHIFT] and made my way to the virus.
It was massive. The virus was big and had hands and legs that looked disproportionate to the rest of its gigantic body. I looked at the land it was sleeping on. It was empty, completely empty. Not a speck of dust, a grain of sand, or a blade of grass was to be seen anywhere. But it was still there, a bright white, sticking out compared to the rest of the realm beyond the firewall. It was also larger than I thought, easily holding the entire body of the virus. "Well, I have no time to waste. Let's figure out how to wake this thing up", I said.
I went closer to the virus. I tried my first idea, waking it up by shaking it. I cautiously touched it with my bare hand. "Aaahh!" I screamed in pain. My hand was burning hot and I could see the special blue-red mark it had caused on my finger. It slowly faded away. This was dangerous. I pulled out my keyboard and typed in 'Wooden plank'. I clicked [ENTER]. I wanted to see just how harmful this was. I held it so that it touched the virus's body without being too close to me. It sizzled and burned but no burn mark was there. I pulled it away from the virus to examine the damage. The plank looked exactly like it had just been cut off. There was no black burn mark on the wooden plank. There wasn't even a fire. Only the blue-red mark that was on my hand, but that too slowly faded away. "It basically just eats up anything in its way", I realized.
I thought of waking it up with sound. I typed in 'Bell'. I rang the bell. Nothing happened, not even a stir from the virus. I decided to continue trying. I typed in 'Blow horn'. I blew the horn as loud as I could. Then, the virus started stirring and it suddenly rolled close to me. Of course, a virus as big as that would still move a long distance even if it just rolled a bit. I ran away as fast as I could as the massive virus towered over me, rolling slowly. I could see the shadow of it underneath me. I ran and ran until I suddenly heard a loud thud. Then, the noise stopped. The virus was still asleep, but it had finished rolling. Now, its face was directly pointing at me. I looked with horror at its dark, triangular eyes and its big mouth that looked like a circular death trap filled with sharp teeth. I pulled myself out of my trance and started thinking again.
"This seems to be working. How powerful was that sedation they gave to the virus? I wonder how strongly they sedated Mozart. Anyways, I'll just try something stronger this time."
I pulled out my keyboard and typed 'LOUDSPEAKER WITH LOUD NOISE PLAYING'. I clicked [ENTER] 15 times. This time the speakers were so loud that I had to shut my ears to keep the noise out. I quickly pulled out my keyboard and typed 'SPEAKER CONTROL'. I held the little device in my hand and reduced the volume. It was at this time that I looked up at what had happened to the virus.
