"I woke up, feeling somehow tired and disoriented, with a pounding headache that seemed to be splitting my skull in two. As I slowly opened my eyes, I was greeted by the sound of children's voices shouting "Mom!" in unison. The noise was getting irritating, and I tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washed over me, forcing me to lie back down. I saw four cats staring at me, their eyes gleaming in the dim light of the room. And strangely, I could understand them. They were chattering and meowing, their voices rising and falling in a soothing melody. The last thing I remembered before getting here was being pushed off a cliff by my ex-wife. I watched her laugh with her lover, and I swore to get my revenge. Then everything went blank; it felt like I was dying.
As I lay there, trying to make sense of my surroundings, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of my stomach. Thinking about it, how was I still awake? And why was this cat bigger than the rest? It was a massive black cat with piercing green eyes, and the other cats seemed to be looking up to it with a mixture of fear and reverence. Why were they calling it "Mama"? Why was it looking at me like that, with an unnerving intensity that made my skin crawl? Trying to get up on my feet felt different, because I could feel myself standing, but in a different style. I could feel that I was standing on all fours, my limbs splayed out to the sides like a cat's. And when I looked at my arm, I was shocked to see that it was covered in soft, black fur. F**k, why was my hand black? Why was I so hairy? I looked down at my body and saw that I was covered in a thick layer of fur, my skin transformed into that of a cat. Only to turn and see a mirror, but what I saw was not what I expected. Because standing in front of me was my reflection, but not the reflection I was expecting. Before me stood a black cat, its eyes gleaming with a fierce inner light. I was in a cat's body!!!
As I stared at my reflection, I felt a sense of horror and disorientation wash over me. How did this happen? How did I end up in a cat's body? And what did it mean? I looked around the room, trying to take in every detail, but everything seemed unfamiliar. The furniture, the decorations, even the smell of the air was different. I was a stranger in a strange land, and I had no idea how to get back to my own body. All I could do was stand there, frozen in shock, as the cats watched me with an unblinking gaze.
And as I stood there, I couldn't help but wonder... am I a cat body?
