Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 The pokedex

"You seem really confidnt, but..."

After swallowing the last ball, Anko threw the bamboo stick and the plastic bowl into the trash can next to it.

"Im not easily impressed, if you don't meet my expectations..."

While talking, Anko wanted to put his arms around Mubari's neck

It's just that Mubari's height is obviously much taller than Anko's, so it's not easy to do this action.

Although Anko's height is nearly 1.7 meters, she is still a little shorter compared to Mubari's height of nearly 1.9 meters. Plus, as a ninja, Anko doesn't wear high heels.

However, Mubari bent down gently at the right time, allowing Anko to embrace him. The customer is always right after all.

Seeing the Mubari's ability to read the room, Anko cracked a smile. 'Since this kid's so considerate, I'll buy his Pokémon, even if they aren't up to par.'

"You should also change your bad habit. Every time I have to bend down, it takes a lot of effort."

Anko's face froze...

Mubari just chuckled, looked at Anko closely, and said.

At that moment, Mubari was only a dozen centimeters away from Anko. At such a close distance, he could clearly see every inch of Anko's skin.

Clear and bright pupils, curved willow eyebrows, long eyelashes trembling slightly, fair and flawless skin with a hint of pink, and thin lips as delicate as rose petals.

As expected of a character in another world, the skin really has no blemishes at all. Truly brings a new meaning to otherworldly beauty.

Mubari couldn't help sighing in his heart.

He himself too however, could not be scoffed at. Althought he was not some peerless beauty women would fall over, he did quite dashing compared to the rest. Otherwise, how else would anko, a ninja hang around him, a seemingly ordinary guy?

"Tch, who made you grow so tall, weren't you were shorter than me back then?"

Anko was displeased, thinking back when they were in the ninja school, Mubari was not as tall as her. It's just that as time went by, Mubari grew taller and taller, and is now half a head taller than her.

"I cant really help it can i, but if you ask me, you're the one who si just short."

Mubari also said jokingly, althiught the last few words were sadly lightly.

"My height is perfectly fine, you're the one who is freakishly tall!"

Anko said angrily.

Indeed, in Konoha's environment, very few people are taller than 1.8 meters, let alone Mubari who is nearly 1.9 meters tall.

Among the leaves, Mubari's height is indeed a bit 'outstanding'.

"Okay you win, im too tall. Jokes aside tho, do you want to take a look at the new Pokémon in my store?"

Smiling, Mubari also spoke.

"Okay, but remember, If I'm not happy with them, i ain't buying."

Anko also let go of Mubari, and said a little fiercely. Problem is however, when you look that good, even if you angrily shout, you'd still look cute. So her words only made Mabari smile happily.

"Don't worry, you will be satisfied." He said confidently. Then, he took out a tablet and handed it to Anko.

"what is this?"

Anko took the tablet curiously and asked.

"This is the Pokedex. As the name suggests, it records all kinds of Pokémon."

"Currently, all Pokémon are randomly selected, and it is not possible to select a certain one."

Sensing Anko's puzzled expression, Mubari also opened his mouth to explain.

"For such a small shop, you sure do have a lot of tricks. But is this necessary? Random selection? How many types of Pokémon are there? And

What if you don't get the one you like?"

Anko couldn't help but complain.

"There are really many types of Pokémon, and I always believe that fate is destined, so I came up with this form."

"You can draw five times a day, and then you can choose to buy or not."

Mubari smiled and said the same thing. He had said a lot of fancy words, but in truth, it can only be drawn randomly. There was no other way. The system only allowed sell Pokémon in this way, and Mubari could not change it, so he can only make it seem reasonable as if it's a feature.

"Fancy bells and whistles."

It's just obvious that Anko's character doesn't like this very much.

"So? What am I going to do?"

Regardless, Anko was still very interested. After all, in this era, there are no such things as computers, let alone tablets.

The pokedex Mibari had was not much different from a tablet.

Anko, who was touching the tablet for the first time, unceremoniously clicked on the Pokémon Go icon.

Although she didn't understand what GO means, but now this icon is the only one that can be clicked on the Pokédex.

After clicking the icon, the screen of the pokedex slid rapidly, and black shadows slid rapidly across the screen. These were silohuets, much simillar to the 'who's that Pokémon challenge every episode.'

Although they were darkened, Anko was very curious about the various shapes of the shadows.
