Chapter 6 - Ch 6: Meeting?

"*Whisper* Selina, are you certain that this is the Son of our Grandparent's friend? I think there's something wrong with him in the head… laughing alone in this library."

"*Whisper* Nee-chan, that's rude… also do you want him to hear us? What if we'd get caught?"

"*Whisper* Don't worry about it... because in the very beginning, he already knew we were here correct, Viktor Maximoff?" The last part said audibly across the room making Selina's eyes widened in shock. Selina was certain that the two of them were across the room in the library, far away from their Grandparent's friend's son, Viktor Maximoff.

"As expected of you Lieselotte Sherlock… is what I would like to say but I didn't anticipate that you both would enter the library out of all the rooms in this mansion. It's a pleasure to meet you both, Lieselotte Sherlock and Selina Sherlock. Chocolate milk perhaps?"

'M-magic?' Selina thought in shock as she saw Viktor disappear as two cups appeared on the table nearby where they hid from.

"It's not magic. It's just the fact that he's physically strong… absurdly strong."

Selina turned to her sister who already grabbed a cup of chocolate milk and was looking at the railings of the second floor where Viktor appeared once more?

"Introductions are in order, so I suppose I'll go first, as you already know I'm Viktor Maximoff and I am 8 years old. My house is a couple blocks near this mansion and the opposite direction of the market. I get good grades in the children's academy but would rather study higher education and enjoy novels, occasionally writing some stories of my own. I am always consistent with lifting to get stronger and believe that "Change is inevitable as change is life" thus I immediately accept reality for as it is and act to make something I want to happen. I dream of taking down the "Gods" and get a happy ending where I likely end up with a wife."

"…Sis, I think you're correct. Something is really wrong with him in the head."

"Yeah… no kidding. He's really different. I think he's a chuunibyou too." Her Sister laughed softly.

"Tch, you two just don't appreciate the art of an essay like introduction." The sound of soft childlike laughter emanated from the second floor as once again, Selina saw Viktor disappear and appear once more to where he was previously.

"Would you mind closing the door for me, Selina? I don't want the adults to hear what we're going to discuss."

Selina anxiously turned to her older sister who gestured her to close the door as what Viktor said and proceeded to nod slowly.

>>>>

'This guy… smiling and talking to us like a goofball but his eyes tell a different story. Those eyes really match the eyes of a villain in the novel that the maids were reading… 'The Villain wants me to raise his daughter'.'

Remembering the contents of the 'wicked' novel, Lieselotte immediately thought of sacrificing herself so that Selina would escape Viktor. Men are such creatures after all.

"Nee-chan, you're looking at him like he's some sort of deviant."

"Bahahahahaha! You ought to listen to your younger sister Lieselotte, I haven't even done anything yet."

"…So, you actually plan on doing something to us? As expected of men being such vile creatures."

"Huh? I think you're misunderstand-"

"You heard me, you're probably going to do 'wicked' things to us."

"Nee-chan… I think you read too many of those novels." Lieselotte turned to her little sister, Selina who was blushing the entire time.

"…"

"See Selina, he didn't even deny it. He'll really do those things to us; he's probably planning now on the first move on… you! Viktor, I won't let you do such things to my sister!"

"…How in the hell had we reached this point in this conversation? You really got it all wrong, I have no interest in children. I only believe in MILFS but that's beside the point… HOW do you even know that at such a young age? I know you're a genius but god damn."

"MILFS? What's that Nee-chan?"

"F-Forget about it Selina! T-that's something that you s-shouldn't know for now." Lieselotte stated with a blush.

'…T-this vile man! He's of the same age but treats us like we're children! Not to mention, knowing these things at this age… he's a pervert!'

"O-Okay, I-I'll forget about it…"

"Don't you dare read about it later, Selina!"

"Y-yes."

"Could we go back to the main topic?"

"Uh… sure."

"Lieselotte Sherlock, had you perhaps felt something weird lately? Something that influences on how you see the world?"

"…" Lieselotte remained silent as she frowned. She felt more suspicious about Viktor and considered him to be dangerous now. That was an open secret between her and Selina only, no one would've ever known that as Selina wouldn't have even told a soul about it.

"Hey hey hey, no need to consider me as dangerous now. I'm just proposing a way to help you."

Lieselotte rolled her eyes hearing Viktor's words, he was more like the devil currently in her eyes however-

"…What's the catch?" Lieselotte felt like she was making a deal with the devil which was bad but… she really had to know what was causing her to feel this way. T feel like she can calculate/analyze the world in mathematics. She wanted to know the root cause of it.

"Nee-chan! You-"

"Don't worry Selina, if he wanted to hurt us, he would've done it from the very beginning."

"T-that's true…"

"*Sigh* Finally you get it. I'm starting to like you more now…"

"I thought you didn't like children?"

"Touche but anyways though… it's because of Magic. M a g i c. An unreasonable phenomenon in the world."

"B-but t-that's not real! T-that's only a fairy tale that appears in stories and novels!"

"…Are you sure? Look at your sister, Selina. Heh, I think she already found out the answer to that."

"…" Lieselotte wanted to refute him, but she merely stood quiet. It was definitely a plausible explanation to how she could analyze/calculate the entire world.

'The fact that I could see him earlier at that speed… those numbers I saw and the formulas too…'

Lieselotte glanced at Viktor then pat the head of her worried sister before sighing,

"What do you want in exchange for this information? As long as it has nothing to do with endangering my sister or my grandparents, it's fine with me."

"…You really look at me like I'm the devil huh? But anyways that's alright. All I want is a small favor."

"…What is it?"

Lieselotte asked feeling anxious due to the sudden shift in the air, it was like there was a suffocating tension in the library strangling them.

"Let me in your house."

"Y-you're right sis! H-he's a vile man! A degenerate! p-pervert! criminal! A deviant! A sicko!"
