In the picture—
[Because Mitsumi desires her mother, Unown transforms into her father's welcoming Entei in the tower and travels to Green Town.]
[Upon arriving in Green Town, Entei immediately spots Ash, Ash's mother, and Professor Oak happily chatting together.]
[Locking on to his target, the phantom Entei leaps in front of everyone.]
"You are the mother…"
"You are the mother…"
[The phantom Entei hypnotizes Ash's mother at lightning speed and kidnaps her to the Crystal Tower to act as Mitsumi's mother.]
Audience Reaction—
"Hey, hey, hey! Did it just kidnap Ash's mom?"
"This feels like Beauty and the Beast."
"But it's strange—logically, Entei is the king of fire. How can it use Hypnosis, a Psychic-type move?"
"Well, in a sense, this phantom Entei was created by Unown's power, so it's natural for it to have extraordinary abilities."
"I see… It feels like this phantom Entei created by Unown is more powerful than the real Entei."
Most Fire-type Pokémon attack directly, using high temperatures to burn and destroy, which is relatively straightforward.
Psychic-type Pokémon, however, possess a variety of incredible moves:
Mirror Coat
Reflect
Ally Switch
Hypnosis
Some Psychic Pokémon can even alter the weather or environment (as seen with Mewtwo).
Psychic Pokémon also have access to Miracle Eye, a move that allows them to harm Dark-types, which are usually immune to Psychic moves.
This makes them particularly tricky to counter.
The picture continues—
[Ash, chasing the phantom Entei, is finally stopped by a crystal-formed hill.]
[If Ash had a Haxorus at this moment, he might have performed the miracle of "splitting the mountain to save his mother"!]
[Now Ash can no longer remain uninvolved. He must find a way to stop Unown's influence, rescue his mother, and free Mitsumi from the Crystal Tower's control!]
[Ash, Misty, Brock, and their Pokémon set off, guided by a Pokédevice given to them by Xiaoling.]
[Meanwhile, Professor Oak remains in touch with the group from the Pokémon Center.]
[Elsewhere, Ji Ke and Lisa are watching the events unfold on TV in Charizard Valley.]
[Ash's Charizard notices that Entei has taken Ash's mother and decides to follow Ash to the Crystal Tower!]
The scene continues—
[The Rocket Trio, who had been tailing Pikachu, attempt to investigate the mansion but are quickly defeated by Entei and sent flying into the depths of the building.]
The audience noticed:
No matter where Ash and Pikachu go, these three fools always seem to follow.
[Mitsumi, watching Ash and his group on TV, drifts off to sleep and imagines herself as a Pokémon Trainer.]
[As she dreams, Delia momentarily breaks free from her trance but remains unnoticed by Entei.]
[In Mitsumi's dream, Entei creates an adult version of her and sends her to challenge Ash's group.]
[To buy time, Brock stays behind to battle Mitsumi while Ash and Misty move ahead.]
[However, the Pokémon Mitsumi imagines are far stronger than Brock's.]
[Mitsumi then dreams of becoming a Gym Leader and having an underwater match with Misty. Their battle ends without a clear winner.]
[Ash finally reaches Mitsumi and Delia, but Mitsumi, consumed by the illusion, refuses to leave the Crystal Tower. She believes no one can take away her happiness.]
Palace Gate Stadium, Champion Guest Seats—
"Mitsumi and Ash come from very different families," one guest observed.
"Mitsumi's parents are too busy with work, neglecting her emotional needs. Meanwhile, Ash is deeply loved by his mother and surrounded by caring friends and rivals. It's no wonder he grew up cheerful and resilient."
Cynthia nodded. "The power of crystallization isn't controlled by Mitsumi but by Unown. They're simply manifesting her desires."
Professor Oak added, "Mitsumi is only five years old. At that age, she can't fully distinguish between reality and ideals, nor can she judge right from wrong. Her jealousy upon seeing Ash's warm family likely led her to kidnap his mother."
"Family love and communication are vital," he sighed.
Chibana cut in, "Yes, but the priority now is defeating the phantom Entei and helping Mitsumi wake up to reality!"
The scene continues—
[Unable to convince Mitsumi, Ash attempts to take his mother and leave.]
[The phantom Entei blocks their path and attacks Ash.]
[Dark purple energy waves surge forward.]
[Ash quickly dodges and sends out Totodile.]
"Use Water Gun!"
[Totodile's Water Gun should counter a Fire-type, but the phantom Entei easily deflects it.]
[The energy isn't fire—it's crystallization. Wherever it strikes, crystals form, earning the nickname "Salt Emperor."]
[Ash then sends out Cyndaquil, but it too fails against Entei's attacks.]
[In desperation, he calls on Pikachu.]
[Golden electricity clashes with dark purple energy, but Pikachu, despite its strength, is no match for Entei.]
[Ash and Pikachu are knocked off a cliff, their fate seemingly sealed.]
[But at the critical moment, an orange-red figure swoops in to save them!]
[The audience erupts in cheers as the newcomer is revealed!]
