The Legend of Alex Benjamin
Five hundred years ago, before the rise of the Velkran Empire, the world of Arnak was ruled by twelve great families. Among them, the Lionheart family reigned supreme, the undisputed rulers of the land. The remaining eleven
families stood as equals, their strength balanced to prevent anyone from surpassing the others. Among these families was the Benjamin family, home to a man who would come to be known as Alex Benjamin.
Alex was not born into this world. He was a soul reincarnated from a distant realm, a man blessed by the God of Reincarnation. Unlike others who relied on artifacts, magic, or divine gifts, Alex rose to the pinnacle of power through
sheer mastery of the sword. His skill was unmatched, and he quickly earned his place as one of the Twelve Supreme Lords of Arnak, standing proudly at the top of the world.
The Tragic Love of Alex and Rosario
At the pinnacle of Alex's power, he had no equal. But even the strongest men are not immune to the fragility of the human heart. Rosario Valgred, the fierce swordswoman from the Valgred family, was more than just a
companion to Alex—she was his heart.
Rosario was not simply a talented warrior; she was a force of nature, her skills with the blade revered across Arnak. She was strong, and fiercely independent, and yet her loyalty to Alex was absolute. Their bond transcended
friendship; it was a union forged in battle and built on mutual respect.
Their love was a quiet, unspoken truth between them, one that did not need words to be understood. When they fought side by side, the world seemed to slow, as if nature itself was in awe of their partnership. Alex's gaze would often
linger on Rosario as she fought, her movements so graceful yet deadly, and he knew, in the deepest part of his soul, that she was the one person who understood him completely.
But fate, as it often does, had other plans.
The Arrival of the Demons
The peace that Alex and Rosario had fought so hard to maintain was shattered when a race of otherworldly invaders descended upon Arnak. They arrived from the skies, their war machines, unlike anything the people of Arnak had ever seen.
With their flying battleships and weapons of unimaginable power, the so-called demons ravaged the land, leaving destruction in their wake.
The twelve great families were forced into an alliance, their combined might be the only hope for the survival of Arnak. The battles were fierce, and in one of those early skirmishes, Rosario Valgred met her end.
Alex had been there, fighting alongside her, but when she fell in battle, everything inside him broke. Her death was not a mere loss—it was the loss of his reason to continue fighting. In his grief and anger, he became a man possessed.
His sorrow turned to rage, and in that rage, he sought vengeance. No demon would live to see another day. Alex slaughtered them all, and though the victory was his, the cost was unimaginable.
It wasn't enough to avenge Rosario. It would never be enough. But the world would know the name of Alex Benjamin.
The Gate to Another World
As the final battle against the demons came to a close, a strange and unexpected event occurred. From the remains of the demon warships, a massive explosion tore through the very fabric of space, opening a dimensional gate. On the other
side of this gate lay a new world, one vastly different from Arnak—there were no humans, but instead, elves, dwarves, and beastmen populated a land filled with magical wonders and untold secrets.
Initially, the people of Arnak saw this new world as a potential threat, and in their fear, they launched an invasion without hesitation. Alex, still reeling from the loss of Rosario, participated in the assault, believing the inhabitant
s of this new world were enemies. It was during one such battle, when Alex cut down the walls of an elf village, that he came upon an unexpected sight—a crying elf baby, abandoned in the wreckage of the village. At that moment, something
shifted within him.
He saw himself, not as a hero, but as the true monster. Just as the demons had brought suffering to Arnak, now humans were bringing the same destruction to this peaceful world. The weight of his actions crushed him and for the first
time, Alex questioned everything he had ever believed in. so he took a Decision to Stay and Learn.
Becoming a Master of the Otherworld
In his years spent among the elves, dwarves, and beastmen, Alex grew in ways he hadn't thought possible. He learned their ways, their magic, and their philosophies, becoming not just a warrior, but a master in all things.
He honed his strength to unimaginable levels, becoming the first mythical rank swordmaster, A being revered by all.
But even in this new world, Alex could not forget his mission. His desire to stop the dimensional gate, to ensure that it would never bring destruction to his world again, drove him forward. He searched for answers, scouring the
remnants of the demon warships. It was in those ruins, hidden beneath layers of ancient magic, that he found what he sought—a way to close the gate, to sever the ties between the worlds.
The Great Betrayal
But by the time Alex closed the gate, his former comrades had already discovered his intentions. The ten great families, who had once been his allies, now saw him as a threat. One of the families, the Valgred family, had been
completely wiped out in the war against the demons, but the others feared Alex's new powers and the knowledge he had gained from the otherworldly races.
As the gate closed and the balance shifted, one of the four families that betrayed him—a family that had long harbored distrust and resentment toward Alex—labeled him a "Great Demon," accusing him of being corrupted by the magic
of the demons he had once fought.
This family led the charge against Alex, condemning him for his actions and labeling him as a traitor. The other families, though not all in agreement, joined forces, and together they formed the Formation of Judgment—an attack
that combined the full might of the ten great families.
The Final Battle
In the end, Alex stood alone against the combined might of his former allies. Despite all he had done for them, despite all the sacrifices he had made, the families showed no mercy. They struck him down with overwhelming force, their
swords cutting through his defenses.
But even in the face of certain death, Alex did not relent. He fought until his last breath, not with hatred or rage, but with the calm determination of someone who had already accepted his fate. When he finally fell, mortally wounded,
he smiled—not in triumph, but in peace. He had succeeded in closing the gate. The innocent races of the new world would be safe.
His death, however, was not the end of his legacy. The families, stricken with guilt over their betrayal, decided to erase Alex's name from history, to wipe all memory of his deeds and sacrifice. His name, once feared and revered,
was cast into obscurity, and only a few knew the truth of what had truly happened.
The Legacy of Alex Benjamin
Before his death, Alex had taken three disciples—an elf, a dwarf, and a beastman. These disciples, who had learned his teachings, carried on his legacy in the new world. The name of Alex Benjamin, though erased from Arnak, lived on in
whispers among the races he had protected. His legacy was carried into myth, as the tale of the "Great Demon" became a legend, known only to those who had been touched by his wisdom and his sacrifice.
