Chapter 4 - Om kisses Agni

The man was watching the two of them, and the girl coming forward said, "Diamonds?"

The man was shocked and, stammering, asked, "How do you know about the hero?"

The girl smiled mischievously and said, "That does not matter, give me the diamonds."

When the man refused, the girl walked up to him, ran her hand through her hair, and suddenly pulled her hand away, bringing it close to his neck. She was holding a knife.

The man, a little scared, said, "Who are you?"

Through her mask, the girl gave him a glance of trust, then placed her hand on her face and removed the mask.

"Agni Singh Raivansh," the man uttered, and Agni placed the knife firmly on his neck and said, "Money or diamonds?"

The man angrily said, "I won't give you the diamonds."

A crooked smile appeared on Agni's face, and she looked ahead where some other businessmen were. He was making a deal with them, buying diamonds and exchanging them for money. She said, "Tell your business partner to understand, or else he'll die at my hands."

Agni then looked back at the man and said, "Money."

The man gestured with his hand to one of his men to bring the money, and the man handed Agni a bag of money. Aahuti came forward, opened the bag, and showed the money. She handed it to Agni and said, "Where's the remaining 400 crore?"

The man looked stunned, and slowly said, "This is the full 500 crore."

Agni laughed and said, "You can fool your business partner, but not Agni Singh Raivansh. This is 100 crore! I know this very well, so give me the remaining 400 crore calmly."

The businessmen, who were dealing with him, were also shocked that this man was lying. He was giving them 100 crore instead of the 500 crore he was supposed to, all for the 500 crore diamonds.

The man got angry because, in one moment, Agni had ruined his image in front of the businessmen. He was playing tricks with the money, trying to get 500 crore worth of diamonds, but only offering 100 crore.

Agni came close to his ear and said, "You have the diamonds, right? The 500 crore ones? So give me the full 500 crore."

The man, grinding his teeth in anger, told his man, "Give her the remaining 400 crore."

The man handed Aahuti the 400 crore bag, and this time Agni said, "Now, this is the full 500 crore."

The man said, "Now, let go of my neck."

Agni smiled and said, "I'll let go! Wait a moment."

Then, with a sudden jerk, Agni turned the man around, kept the knife at his throat, and began to take steps backward. The man was astonished, wondering how Agni had known that he had instructed his men to attack her from behind as soon as she was about to leave. But Agni, instead of taking the attack, had turned the tables and attacked him back, using her mind.

Agni brought him to the door, then knelt behind him, and the man fell flat on his stomach. Agni immediately locked the door with the key Aahuti had brought.

Aahuti held the bag containing the 500 crore, and Agni tossed the key up and said, "Now you know why I asked you for the key."

"Got it, boss," Aahuti said and saluted her. Then they both left.

Inside, the businessman had fallen to the ground and immediately instructed his men to open the door. But it didn't open, so they took out the key and opened the door. By the time they did, Aahuti and Agni had already left.

The man, in anger, shouted, "Aahhh, find those two, they shouldn't be allowed to leave the club!"

It's nighttime.

Agni entered the house, wearing a saree.

As soon as she entered, she noticed Om sitting in the living room, eating the kheer Parvati had made with love and calmness.

Parvati, sitting beside him, noticed Agni and happily said, "Agni, come, have some kheer."

Agni nodded and sat on the couch. Om looked at her, surprised because she didn't sit next to him but on the other couch. As soon as she sat down, Agni took out her phone and started chatting with Ahuti.

Ahuti was sending her voice notes, so Agni had Bluetooth in her ears, responding while typing.

Om, seeing Agni busy on her phone, asked, "Why didn't you sit next to me?"

Parvati, having brought the kheer, overheard and was surprised when Agni didn't respond. She didn't notice the Bluetooth in Agni's ears because of her loose hair, so Om thought Agni was ignoring him.

Om asked again, "Aren't you coming to sit with me?"

Still no response. Parvati went to Agni and placed her hand on her shoulder. Agni looked at her and took the kheer bowl, continuing her conversation with Ahuti. Parvati was shocked that despite looking at her, Agni never once looked at Om.

Then, a voice note from Ahuti came in, and Agni listened, "I need to talk to you privately, go to your room."

"Hmm," Agni replied, picked up the bowl, and said, "I'll eat in the room" as she walked away.

After Agni left, Om immediately stood up and approached Parvati, saying, "Mom! Butterfly is ignoring me, why isn't she talking to me? She didn't even say hello today."

Parvati didn't know the answer, so she turned the blame on Om, "Well, you didn't behave well with Agni in the morning, so why would she talk to you? Now go and make it up with her. I know she's upset with you. She won't even come for dinner if you don't go."

After Parvati left, Om, in deep thought, wondered if Agni was really upset with him. He left his kheer bowl and went after her. Meanwhile, Agni had entered her room and was talking to Ahuti in the balcony area.

Om entered the room and saw Agni talking to someone else, laughing, and didn't even glance at him. He felt bad and walked up to her, grabbing her from behind. Agni stood still, her breath caught in her throat at the unexpected touch.

"Sorry, Butterfly," Om said, holding her tightly, and Ahuti, hearing the conversation, teased, "Oh, seems like the husband is showing a lot of love to his wife. Go and take care of him; I'll text you the rest."

Agni couldn't reply, and Ahuti ended the call.

Om apologized, "I'm sorry, Butterfly. I shouldn't have behaved that way with you in the morning, but I love chowmein so much, and you stopped me from eating it."

Agni replied, "It's okay," and as she moved, Om's hand remained on her stomach, and she felt a rapid heartbeat. Om noticed her quickening pulse.

She shut her eyes tightly, and Om said softly, "Sorry."

Agni's heart raced, and when she opened her eyes, she pushed his hand away and went to sit on the bed, saying, "It's okay. I didn't mind."

Om sat beside her, smiling, and asked, "Are you sure?"

Agni nodded without looking at him. Om smiled and kissed her cheek, saying, "Thank you so much for replying."

Om's soft kiss was enough to melt Agni. Her cheeks turned red, and Om noticed. He gently touched her lips, asking, "Why are your cheeks red?"

Agni didn't know how to answer and simply said, "I don't know."

Om asked, "Do you have a fever?"

Agni shook her head, but Om insisted, "You must have a fever. Your face is so red. Wait, I'll call mom to give you some medicine."

Agni quickly grabbed his hand, saying, "I don't have a fever! You're overthinking, Om."

Om agreed, "Okay, I get it."

There was a long silence between them, which Om broke by leaning closer and holding her face gently, asking, "If I do something, will you be upset?"

Agni nodded, and Om said, "Then close your eyes."

Agni thought he might be bringing something for her, so she closed her eyes. Om moved closer, leaned down, and kissed her softly on the lips. Agni's eyes immediately opened, but Om's were closed as he kissed her deeply.

Agni couldn't stop herself and returned the kiss, deepening it. When she found it hard to breathe, she pulled away and said, "What did you do?"

Om was momentarily taken aback but quickly regained himself and replied, "I kissed you."
