Julian watched as Sena's face lit up like the sun, her smile growing brighter each second. His gaze remained fixated on her, soaking her rays as if he were a flower.

Sena wouldn't ask such a question in the past. He couldn't help but feel delighted as she did. Since he returned, Julian started to realise their relationship never developed before because he lacked the maturity or will to learn more about her.

She opened up some takeout menus for local places nearby on the digital screen, while tapping, sitting at the counter with her legs crossed and still shocked by his feelings."Do you want pizza or—" Sena looked at the different takeaway menu options available.
Because Julian sat beside her, she turned to face him with a slight pause. Her head titled upwards due to his height advantage over her. He remained calm even when their eyes met again, just smiling at her as usual."Hmm, what would you prefer?"
Faded memories of his past life flowed through his mind.
Julian understood from her reactions this was something she enjoyed, and her delight was addictive.
His past self often held back these emotions, not willing to risk anything in their relationship.

He tapped a Chinese menu for their lunch, all because he remembered it was Sena's favourite place.
'Though in the past I never realised this fact.'
The place she chose most because of their dumplings.
"Why here?"
Sena tilted her head, slightly puzzled, which caused him to smirk before brushing the loose strands of her hair behind her ear, and trailing his fingertips down her neck and collarbone before pulling away.
"Because it's my favourite, they do the best dumplings."
"Ah—me too!"
Julian chuckled and found her behaviour adorable. Even though they were boyfriend and girlfriend, she'd still blush easily and lose all thought after he showed affection toward her.
'If only I was able to see more clearly in the past, this cute woman only ever held eyes for me.'Sena's eyes opened wider and made a cute sound when he ordered all of her favourite dishes and even added a small noodle dish which she ordered when hungry.
He even paid before she could speak up.
Julian was a stingy man who lacked self-esteem, someone who wouldn't something so simple, without hesitation.
Yet another point of reflection for him about his previous life choices. He didn't know whether he loved Sena, but she was special and something he couldn't bear to lose.
"Julian, when did you become so good to me?"
Sena leaned against his body, her hands wrapped around his arm. He questioned whether their behaviour resembled lovers, now more than ever.
"I just realised how important you are to me."Her lips trembled while staring at him for several seconds, as if trying to gauge his reaction or thoughts.
"Don't look at me like that." Julian wrapped his arm around her waist. "You might make me fall in love with you."
They shared gazes for an awkward moment before breaking into laughter.
"Then fall for me."
Sena's cheeks turned rose-red at her sudden words.
'I cannot lose this woman, no matter the sacrifices needed to keep her at my side.'
"Don't regret it."
His lips curled into a smile, revealing his pearly teeth.
After ordering, Sena escaped from the dining room, and rushed to check herself in the mirror, and returned with makeup and a more alluring black dress, with a deep cleavage.'Why the change?'
Julian gazed at her in puzzlement, not understanding why Sena would wear such an outfit for a takeout.
'She really looks stunning.'
Since she wore minimal clothing, there was nothing to hide the outline of her breasts, and even revealed part of her chest. Julian gazed at her and stroked her forehead to get any loose strands out of the way.

The doorbell rang, causing Julian to show a bitter smile, before tapping Sena's hips as he walked to the doors' intercom.
