Shion knew it wasn't right.
It wasn't right to be thinking about Rimuru all the time. But lately she saw Shuna getting too comfortable around Rimuru. Shuna used to be so cute, and so… not like this. She used to argue with Shion about everything when it came to Rimuru and was rather territorial and yet, she'd become so mellow. Shuna had this odd sense of calm now and Rimuru looked at her in a gaze, a gaze Shion wanted more than anything.
So, Shion couldn't help but dislike Shuna and she sort of hated herself for it. Was this jealousy? Or was something wrong with her? She couldn't, no, she didn't want to feel this emotion against someone so close to her, someone she swore to protect.
That's why- "Shuna, can we talk?" she said one day, asking Shuna to come to her room.
Shuna accepted.
"What's wrong Shion?"
"Did something happen between you and Lord Rimuru?"
"I'm not sure what you mean by that."
"You two seem so close lately. Did something- no, what can I do to make that happen? What can I do to make him see me in a new light like you and be able to… you know, be so close to him."
Shion wasn't the intellectual type. She couldn't take the needless overthinking. And she didn't want to overthink either. She wanted a straightforward answer and Shuna understood as much.
"I sort of want to keep him to myself but… if it's you…" she mumbled to herself. "Alright, first we have to invite him over. Before he comes in, we need to set up a mood. This is what we'll do," she said, whispering sweet honeyed words into Shion's ears.

"But don't you want him? Don't you want to get closer? This is the easiest way…" Shuna cooed.
Shion gulped. "Okay but do we really have to-"

Shion gulped again but smiled awkwardly. "Okay, bring it on!"
"That's the spirit," Shuna snickered.

Rimuru received an invite from Shion. Rather rare one.

Just how badly do you not want to drink her tea? Rimuru sighed and almost groaned but in the end convinced himself to go. Lately Shion had been acting strange and somewhat sad. If this was going to cheer her up then why not?
With his mind made up, Rimuru made way for Shion's room and almost knocked.
Almost because there were certain sounds coming out of there.
Familiar sounds.
She wouldn't, right? But not just Shion's but there was a separate voice mixed in. Were they, were the two of them…
