Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 I will pry open your mouth

Alice's body went limp as she leaned against the edge of the sofa.

Yes, she was unlucky.

If she hadn't been so unlucky, why would Adam keep staring at her...

"You can't take her with you. If you want to die, you can stay!" Adam pulled the trigger on his gun, and with a loud bang, a vase in the distance shattered.

"Ah!" Alice screamed in fright.

Turning her head, she saw that although Benjamin and Ethan were also frightened, at least they were not injured.

"Come in!" Adam's low and cold voice sank.

The outside bodyguards came in, glaring at Benjamin and Ethan. "Do you want us to take action?"

Benjamin certainly wouldn't dare to act, as the power dynamic was clear at a glance.

Moreover, what would it mean for a father and son to fight?

Ethan was unwilling to leave without taking Alice with him. If he left her here, wouldn't he be watching her die?As soon as he turned his head, he caught Alice's signal with her eyes, telling him to leave.

Ethan didn't want to leave!

"He won't let me die, don't worry..." Alice said weakly.

Ethan suppressed his anger and forcefully withdrew his gaze, walking out.

Benjamin looked at his terrible son and tried to speak kindly, "Adam, since it's my fault, I'm willing to take responsibility."

Adam tilted his head slightly, looking devilishly sinister. "Don't worry, dealing with the Davis Family is only a matter of time," he said.

Benjamin's face went pale as he turned and left.

Adam crouched down, face to face with Alice.

She was so weak that she couldn't even tense up her body.

Her rapid breathing betrayed her fear.

He pressed the gun against her chin and forced her to look up. "You're right, I won't let you die. That wouldn't be any fun."

Alice trembled and said nothing. She felt like she was staring into the eyes of a demon."Are you hungry?" Adam asked.

Alice didn't answer the obvious question.

"Go get it," Adam ordered.

Daniel immediately sent a maid to bring some food, which was in liquid form.

After all, Alice had gone three days without eating and couldn't handle solid food.

The key was that Adam put down his gun and fed her himself.

Alice watched in fear as he brought the food to her mouth. She didn't know what to do, as if it were poisoned.

Otherwise, why would Adam feed her himself? What kind of pleasure was he getting from this?

"Should I pry your mouth open?" he asked.

Alice opened her mouth, her lips trembling, and ate the liquid food.

The long-awaited food warmed her stomach and gradually restored her energy.

"Look how worried the Davis Family is about you, they all rushed over to me," Adam's voice was low and steady, as if he were just chatting with someone.

Only Alice knew that this was a form of mental oppression.

"You don't know any better," Alice swallowed a bite of food, her face pale, her voice hoarse, "you just want to torture me to satisfy your desire for revenge, I accept that, but don't involve others..."

"Are you teaching me how to do things?" Adam's gaze turned to the coffee table, and his body regained strength as he grabbed the gun on the table and aimed it at Alice!

Adam looked at her with a cold, black gaze, his expression unchanged.

"Let me go, let me go!" Alice's voice was sharp, and she tried to control her trembling hand as she held the gun.

"Or else you'll shoot?" Adam moved the bowl aside.

Daniel quickly took it.

"Yes, I'll shoot!" Alice saw Adam stand up and moved the gun with him, not daring to relax for a second. "Killing you is better than letting you torture me!"

Adam sneered, "Then shoot!"

What? Alice was stunned. The next second, her vision blurred, and she didn't even know what had happened. The gun was in Adam's hand, and it was aimed at her!

Alice stumbled backwards.

"With just this little ability, you dare to hold a gun? Can you even shoot? Do you want me to teach you?" Adam pointed the gun at her forehead and fired, "Bang!"

"Ahh!" Alice was so scared that she covered her head and almost fell to her knees.

She realized that she wasn't hurt because the bullet didn't hit her.

"Disappear before I fire the second shot," Adam said coldly.

Alice turned around and walked out of the hall.

The car was waiting outside, and she got in.

Even after the car had driven a long way, her body was still trembling.

It was like she had experienced extreme fear and needed enough time to calm down.

Back in her apartment, she closed the door and yelled as she smashed a chair, "Adam, you crazy man! You're insane!"When she was twelve, Adam wasn't that scary, at least he didn't have a gun!

He actually had a gun!

What did he want to do? Kill someone?

If he really killed someone, what could anyone do? They wouldn't even be able to investigate him! No one would dare to investigate him!

Such a terrifying power!

Alice thought of something and found her phone at home, but it was dead.

She found the charger and turned it on.

There were missed calls from her aunt and Ethan.

She didn't need to ask to know that they were frantically looking for her when she was locked up.

Alice checked the date and saw that her temporary ID was ready.

She was going to get it.

After getting it, she would go straight to apply for her passport.

She wanted to settle this quickly.Adam definitely wouldn't expect her to immediately go and play some other trick after just suffering through torture!

Anyway, today was a good opportunity since she didn't have to go to work.

Alice left through the back door of her apartment and took a taxi straight to the police station, where she got a temporary ID card and then went to the registration office.

It was done quickly, in just a few minutes.

Then she went back to her apartment.

After half a month, she would have her passport and ID card to leave.

As long as she didn't die, she wouldn't give up on the idea of leaving!

Approaching midnight, Alice video called her children.

Lily was lying on the bed, still not fully recovered, but she was very happy to see her mom.

"Mom, I took my medicine like a good girl today!"

"Good job, Lily!" Alice praised her daughter.

"Mom, there are nine days left!" Isaac said."We'll wait for Mom to come back!" Kevin added.

Alice knew what they meant by the nine days, but she had just gone to get her passport today and apologized, "Can we start counting from today?"

"Why?" The three children immediately became unhappy, pouting their little mouths.

"I accidentally lost my passport, and I just went to get a new one today. It will take fifteen days..." Alice felt guilty.

"Hmph! Mom doesn't keep her promise!" Isaac didn't care if he lost his passport or not.

"Here we go again..." Lily looked pitiful.

"Will it be different this time?" Kevin asked.

"It will. Mom promised you guys, and she won't break it..." Alice felt that even if something unexpected happened, she would do whatever it takes for her children.

For her children, she could endure anything...

At night, Alice slept with her phone, as if she was holding her children.

Since the children were born, she slept with them every night.Holding their soft, milky bodies.

The children wanted Mom, but didn't know that the person who missed them the most was Mom, who had to leave them.
