Alice had lost the will to struggle. She had once again let herself fall into this desperate situation because of her panic.
There was no food or water in the basement, not even a bed. She could only sleep by leaning against the door or the wall.
On the first day, she could endure the emptiness in her stomach, but on the second day, it seemed like all the moisture in her body was disappearing. By the third day, Alice's lips were cracked, and even moving her body was difficult. She just curled up in one place.
She didn't knock on the door for help because Adam wouldn't let her go, no matter how much she screamed.
During Alice's imprisonment, Ethan searched everywhere for her. He called her phone, but no one answered. Then he called Bella and found out Alice's address, so he went to look for her.
He found out that she not only didn't go to work at the plastic surgery hospital, but also didn't come back home, as if she had disappeared.Ethan searched for two days and felt that things couldn't be that simple. He went to the Dragon Group.
In the highest authority office of the Dragon Group, Frederick nodded slightly. "Mr. Davis, Ethan wants to see you."

Ethan looked at him coldly. "Aren't you just a caretaker? We are Adam's family. Why are you being impolite?"Daniel was suddenly speechless.
Ethan turned and went inside to find someone.
Daniel immediately made a phone call.
But before the call could go through, Benjamin stopped him.
Benjamin was still relatively polite and asked, "Is Alice being held here?"
Daniel looked resistant. "No one can go against Mr. Davis's wishes. I advise you to leave!"
Alice was leaning against the door, feeling dizzy and faint. She seemed to hear someone calling her.

Why did it sound like Ethan's voice?
"Alice? Alice, where are you?" The basement door was knocked on. "Alice, are you in there?"
Alice's body trembled, and she forced herself to stay conscious, as if she had seen the light at the end of the tunnel.
"I...I'm here..." Her weak voice came out, making Ethan outside overjoyed."Alice, I'm here. Don't be afraid! I'm here to save you!"

"I couldn't reach you. You weren't at the plastic surgery hospital, so I knew something was wrong," Ethan said. "I'll take you out of here."
With that, he picked up Alice.
However, as they walked into the hall, Adam entered, emitting a sinister aura. "Put her down," he said.Ethan held Alice tightly. "No, I'm taking Alice with me!"
The dark gun was pointed directly at Ethan.
Ethan was stunned! He didn't expect Adam to have a gun!
Alice's face turned pale, and her body trembled.
No one thought it was a toy gun!
"Adam!" Benjamin stepped forward. "Put the gun down!"
Adam spoke coldly, "You threatened my life before. Now, let's see if you die in front of me. Will I even blink?"
Benjamin's face turned gray and ugly.
"Brother, you're too much!" Ethan was furious.
"Ethan, do you think I can't shoot?" Adam's black eyes were filled with a fierce color.
Alice was frightened and fell to the ground from Ethan's body.

"Alice!" Ethan wanted to step forward, but the gun was pointed at his forehead.
