Yes, the idea of becoming a god sounded interesting. Much better than the ordinary life Zayne had led up to that point. Especially right after his application for an internship at his dream company was rejected.

He wasn't even sure if any of it was real, or just a weird dream he was having after getting wasted at a bar.

And there was also the threat of having his soul exterminated if he refused.

So, when a glowing screen appeared in front of him out of nowhere, telling him he had been selected as a host of the God System, Zayne accepted the offer. Being a deity couldn't possibly be worse than dying, right?
