"Test like one hundred ninety three start. Does the robot that should be on the screen hear anything...?" the voice was tired but at the same time warm. Almost like a mother after hearing her childs first words. "Voice recognition test failed. More tinkering required then I suppose." this female voice said evidently disappointed. "Im here. Sorry I was assessing your tone." By the crashing of objects I heard after that im guessing she wasn't expecting me to talk. "Holy sh..." she sighed trailing off "give me some warning next time?" A couple sentences later and a whole lot more electrical noises (that definitely made me worry) and I could finally see who I was looking at. "Hello, im Lucy." I saw her eyes widen in shock before turning into scepticism. "Lucy as in the combat bot that fought in the heavenly war?"
"Yes thats me. Sorry how did I get here? And where might Jackson be." She looked away quickly before looking back, all her confidence seemingly gone. "What year do you think it is Lucy?"
"Well im in a built house not a ruined one. So maybe 2155? 5 years should be plenty of time to rebuild." Another deafening silence filled the air between us. "You're close, just maybe three hundred years off?" My cpu dropped. 300 years? No way. Jackson wouldn't have permitted that. I would've been brought back ages ago. "Nice try, come on what time is it. And wheres Jackson?" I looked into her eyes, then her face. Expecting a chuckle, maybe a laugh or even just a twist of the eye. Nothing. "You are joking, right?" She took a couple steps towards the monitor I was on and then sat down below it, I guess imitating sitting next to a friend. "Lucy its been years. Jackson is gone. Mostly everything from the heavenly war is." I remained silent for a bit before smiling a little. "I guess he preserved me in one way then didn't he?"
"Yeah he did."
"I'll still miss him though."
"I know." She looked up at me again and then stood up walking off, returning with what seemed like a blueprint. "You know I found something else interesting along with your memory disc." She grabbed the top and held it up, moving to stand on a chair when she realised she was too short. "I think its a blueprint? Looks like a body. Im asuming its for you. Jackson must have gotten pretty far." I gave a slight smile to indicate I was listening, although I was still too shocked to answer. "Im Fiesta by the way." She said giving an eager smile. "Lucy, although you already knew that." I finally managed to say.
"Now," she said place what seemed like a welding mask on "lets get busy." It was then I finally took in the room. It was littered with scrap metal and wires and various other contraptions and as I looked down at her again, I realised that there was something here. "Oh by the way Lucy." She said obviously curious about something. "Why does your blurprint need a cubic metre of gold?"
