The sky was a deep shade of indigo, with a million twinkling stars scattered across it like diamonds on velvet. The moon, a silver crescent, glowed brightly overhead, casting a gentle, ethereal light over the landscape.
The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the soft chirping of crickets, creating a soothing melody that seemed to lull the world into a peaceful slumber.
A soft breeze rustled through the trees, causing the leaves to whisper secrets to each other. The moonlight filtered through the branches, casting dappled shadows on the ground below.
In the distance, a lone owl-like creature with red eyes could be seen on a tree branch, its haunting call echoing through the night air.
A pretty young girl with purple hair, plunging over her shoulders, could be seen walking through the empty street. She was putting on a black hoodies and a short black skirt, revealing her thighs.
(Ooooo Huuuu) The owl-like creature cried as it focus it's attention on the young girl
(Oooooo Huuuuu) It cried once more before flying towards her direction unknown to her
(Ooooo Huuuuu) The creature cried loudly as it got closer to the young girl, it's eyes shows it's merciless, it flew towards her like a jet, covering up a great distance in less than a minute
The young girl soon saw the creature approaching her, she quickly picked up a stick and tried to defend herself with it, swinging it in all directions just to make the creature stay back.
But the creature held her stick with it's beak, and threw it away, She became terrified not knowing what to do, she slowly stepped backwards, her heart running so fast, you could hear it.
The creature was about the size of a dog with mighty dragon-like wings and tail.
(Cruuuuu Ahhhhhh) The creature cried in excitement, then it charged towards the already petrified girl
All a sudden, out of the blue, A fire blast was shot at the creature, causing it to fly backward quickly, or else it would have become barbequed.
Stepping out from a corner was a handsome young boy with bluish hair, His clothing was a little bit different from the girl's clothing, her's was modern, while his was like that of a ninja.
The young boy slowly approached the monster who quickly balanced itself.
(Kuuuuuu Raaaaaa) The monster roared in anger as it charged towards the young boy, who just stood still and watched the creature fly towards him in rage
The creature got closer to him and was about to attack the young boy, but he swiftly dodge the attack and brought out his sword, thereby cutting the creature in half.
The young girl was totally surprised and paralyzed, She gazed at the creature as it's corpse fell to the ground.
"Thanks for saving me" She managed to speak
"Well.....Is not like I could have watched the daughter of late Lord Kia to get killed because of her foolishness" The young boy said as he walked up to her
"Are you ok?" He asked
"Yes..." She replied
"....All thanks to you" She added
"Why did you sneaked out from your house by this time of the night?" The young boy asked
"I....I...Just...I just wanted...." She was interrupted by the young boy
"What if I haven't come to save you?" The young boy asked
".....You would've been dead by now...."
"....And those innocent, buh stupid ninjas that were placed to guard you would have been killed" The young boy said
"I'm sorry..." She apologized
"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to" The young boy said
"By the way....."
"Where were you off to that you couldn't wait until tomorrow?" The young boy asked
"Well...Hmmm....Well...Hmmm...I just wanted to try a tasty ramen I heard about in class before I go to bed" She replied
"So you risked your life because of a bowl of ramen?" The young boy asked
"Well...Is not like I know a hungry creature was out looking for someone delicious to feast on" The young girl replied
"You better stop sneaking out late at night...." The young boy said as he sight some ninjas running towards their direction
".....You might not be lucky next time" The young boy said before turning to leave
"Wait..." The young girl said
The young boy immediately stopped, and tilted his next sideways while facing forward.
"Are you the same guy that saved me the last time I fell unconscious?" The young girl asked
"Is there a time you never fell unconscious?" The young boy asked before walking away as the ninjas approached her, they were all holding a katana ( a kind of sword )
"How are you young mistress?" One of the ninjas asked
"Are you ok?" Another asked
"If you idiots don't focus more on guarding her...."
"...Words might get to the lower sect..."
"....And I bet you all know what that means" The young boy said as he walked away
"Who is that low rank calling an idiot?"
"Are you trying to pick a fight?" One of the ninjas asked
"If you are....Then you are gonna regret it" He said as he drew his sword
"That's enough Akari" One of the ninjas said
"Thank you for saving the young mistress" The ninja who'd halt Akari said
"Well....I'd no other choice...."
"...And I was kind of bored" The young boy said as he walked away, soon he was out of sight
"I'm sorry for sneaking out again" The young mistress apologized
"Is ok...."
"....Let's hurry up before Master Kusanagi finds out that you are missing" One of the ninja's said
"I'm afraid that is too late" A voice said
They all got terrified as they turned around and saw a handsome young boy approached them majestically, his long white hair added to his majestic and cool looks.
"How many times have I warned you to stop sneaking out?" The handsome young boy asked as he approached her
He had a bow and an arrow unlike the rest and he was putting on a kind of martial art outfit with a dragon logo.
"I'm sorry" She apologized
"What if you got killed?" The young boy asked, his eyes then caught sight of the creature's corpses
"What happened to that thing?" The young boy asked completely amazed and surprised
"It was about to attack me but a ninja came to my rescue and killed it" The young girl explained
"A ninja killed that monster?" The young boy asked in disbelief
"I saw it with my own eyes" The young mistress said
"How can someone singlehandedly kill an Evye (combination of Evil and Eye) alone without any help or assistant?" The young boy asked himself
"Something that would take more than four C-Rank ninjas to kill"
"I bet this ninja is no ordinary ninja....."
"....I'd like to meet him" The young boy said to himself
"Take young mistress back home" The young boy commanded
"Ok Master" They all chorused
"And tomorrow you all will face severe punishment" The young boy said
"Kusanagi it was my fault not them...."
"....I was the one who'd sneaked out..."
"....So you don't have to punish them" The young mistress said
"You wouldn't have been able to sneak out if they were more vigilant"
"And if they could let you sneak pass them..."
".....What if an assassin or someone was paid to kill you?"
"If they can't even detect you sneaking out..."
"How then can they detect an assassin sneaking in to kill you?" Kusanagi asked
"But....but...but..." The young mistress was interrupted by Kusanagi
"What if you were killed?"
"What if words gets to the lower sect that you sneaked out and was even attacked by an Evye?" Kusanagi asked
"I would be blamed for not being able to train and put my apprentices in order" Kusanagi said
"I'm so sorry" The young mistress apologized
"But please.....Forgive them....Just this once...And I promise I will never sneak out again" The young mistress said
Kusanagi stared at her pretty face for a while before looking into her starry eyes.
"Take young mistress back home..." Kusanagi said before turning to leave
"Ok Master" They all chorused
"You all won't be lucky next time" Kusanagi said as he walked away
"Thank you master..."
"...Thank you young mistress" The all chorused in excitement
