Chapter 20 - CHAPTER 20

Roxanne looked at her father and told him a matter of fact which he never considered, "They never loved me or my mother even though she provided for them, I don't ever want to be their slave like my mother was so come looking for me again I love how I live now so don't disturb it and remember one thing I am an orphan now since we severed our relationship. Just like you told me I have no use to you so did my mother and you never wanted useless things around you so I also don't want you to be near useless things. Go live your happy life and I will live mine , goodbye sir. "

After she left the restaurant she went on with moving to a new place since she had already called for a moving truck and had already packaged everything she had into boxes so the services were to just move her things and took them to the new building I had rented. The place had a serene environment with a river flowing nearby which could be seen through the window, the flower garden behind the building was well tended for and the house was also as simple as she wanted it which made her be thankful for one of Aiden's friend for finding her such a good place to live in. She arranged all her things in the space available until the house was sparkling clean, since the house didn't need changes since she liked the design and the painting on the walls she left it be. She prepared dinner ate to her fill then went to bed directly since she was too tired to do anything, as soon as her head hit the pillow she started snoring softly under the blankets.

She woke up late the next day and explored the surrounding area to get a better understanding of it and to make sure she won't get lost later due to mistaking directions since she had a bad sense of direction and a good memory which helped her a lot in differentiating directions by memorizing the area and the roads followed. The rest of the day she spent her time watching movies she had not finished or nw ones until lunch time when she prepared a simple salad and ate it.

She invited everyone to her new place to have a comfortable meal as a family. By the time everyone had arrived all the meals were ready. She welcomed everyone and invited them in, they went to the dinning table and excitedly explained the dishes which they all readily tried and gave there honest complements. When she had said she made they had looked at her sceptically since I don't like cooking and had never cooked for them anything. I just laughed it off and told them I learnt it from my mother and from the time she died until now she had never cooked again since it reminded her of her mother. When they finished they watched a short movie as they ate snacks while some of them washed the dishes after everything was done everyone went back to their own places except for Leila and Christina who had a sleepover.
