Sebastian approached Lucy, offering his hand with a smile. "May I have this dance?"

The two glided onto the dance floor, drawing attention. As they moved, Lucy felt her nerves ease.
"You're making quite an impression tonight," Sebastian said as they danced.
Lucy laughed lightly. "I hope that's a good thing."

A little while later
Chloe approached Lucy, holding a drink in her hand.
"Congratulations," Chloe said, handing Lucy the glass.
"Thank you," Lucy replied, taking it hesitantly.
Chloe smiled slyly. "Nathaniel's told me a lot about you. Rising star, huh?"
Lucy nodded politely. "I'm just trying to do my best."
Chloe chuckled, her tone sharp. "Well, enjoy it while it lasts."
The comment made Lucy uneasy, but she didn't want to show it. She took a sip of her drink, hoping to brush off the strange vibe.
Minutes later, Lucy felt a wave of dizziness.
"I don't feel so good," she murmured to Cassie.
Nathaniel appeared out of nowhere. "Here, drink some water," he said, handing her a bottle.
Lucy took it, grateful, but even after drinking it, her head felt foggy.
"I need to sit down," she said weakly.
"I'll take you somewhere quiet," Nathaniel said, guiding her out of the main hall.
"I will come with you" said Cassie
"it's alright I got this" said Nathan with a forced smile
He took her to a room
"Stay here I will come in a while" said Nathaniel with a hidden smile
Meanwhile, Mr. Lazarus took the stage to thunderous applause.
"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for being here tonight," he began. "This is a special moment for my family. Tonight, I'm proud to introduce my two sons, my heirs."
The crowd leaned forward eagerly.
"Please welcome Nicholas Lazarus and Sebastian Lazarus."
The crowd erupted in applause as the two men stepped onto the stage. Nicholas, tall and sharply dressed, exuded authority with his serious expression. Sebastian, equally handsome but more approachable, smiled warmly at the crowd.

But Lucy wasn't there to see it.

heading to a private room with bodyguards beside him he arrived at the elevator and stopped the bodyguards from following him.
meanwhile Chloe walked away, joining Nathaniel in a corner.
"She drank it," Chloe said under her breath.
Nathaniel smirked. "Good. Everything is falling into place. I've already arranged for her to end up in the wrong room. By morning, her reputation will be ruined, and the company will be mine."
Chloe laughed softly. "The driver's been bribed, and everything's set. This is going to be fun."
Nathaniel nodded but added with a sly grin, "But first, I want to taste her lips."
He returned to Lucy, who was beginning to feel lightheaded. "Here, drink some water," he said, handing her a bottle.
Lucy drank it, but the dizziness worsened.
"I think I need to lie down," she murmured.
As she was standing up, Nathaniel held Lucy's face and before he could do anything she vomited,
"I am so sorry" stummered Lucy
"SHIT!", He exclaimed in anger he then breathed
Nathaniel handed her a room key. "Go to Room 605. I'll come check on you in a while."
Lucy nodded and made her way to the elevator. Unbeknownst to her, Nathaniel sent a message to Cassie and James from her phone, saying, "I'll be home late. Don't wait for me."
