The morning sunlight crept through the blinds, gently illuminating Holo's room. He stirred in his sleep, the warmth of the sun brushing against his face. But as he slowly became aware of his surroundings, he noticed something was… off. Something was pressing against him. On both sides.
When he opened his eyes, he realized he wasn't alone. His heart skipped a beat when he saw Trixie on his right, her arms wrapped around his waist, her face snuggled into his chest. Her long hair draped across the pillow, and her soft breathing tickled his neck.
But that wasn't all. On his left was Scarlet, her arms draped over him and her head resting on his shoulder. Her dark hair was slightly messy, and a peaceful expression adorned her face as she slept. Her chest pressed against his side, leaving him trapped between the two girls.
Holo's face turned crimson as he realized the position he was in. How did this even happen?! he thought frantically. He tried to move, but both girls stirred slightly, their grips tightening around him as if they could sense his attempt to escape.
"T-Trixie? Scarlet?" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Neither of them responded. Instead, they both shifted closer to him, their warmth enveloping him from both sides. Holo's heart raced as he tried to figure out what to do. I need to get out of here before this gets any worse!
Summoning his courage, he carefully wriggled his way out of their grasp. But as soon as he sat up, both girls stirred awake, their sleepy eyes fluttering open.
Trixie was the first to notice him. She sat up, a bright smile spreading across her face. "Good morning, Holo!" she said cheerfully, reaching out to grab his arm. "Did you sleep well?"
Scarlet yawned, stretching her arms before sitting up as well. Her smug smile returned almost instantly when she saw him. "Good morning, Holo," she said softly, her tone dripping with affection. "You looked so cute while you were sleeping."
Holo's face grew even redder, and he held up his hands defensively. "W-What are you two doing here?! How did you even get into my room?"
Trixie tilted her head innocently. "What do you mean? I missed you, so I came to cuddle."
Scarlet smirked, brushing her hair back casually. "I didn't want you to feel lonely, so I thought I'd join you. Clearly, I was right."
Holo groaned, running a hand through his hair. "You can't just sneak into my room like that!"
"Why not?" Trixie asked, crossing her arms. "You're my boyfriend, aren't you? That means I can cuddle with you whenever I want."
Scarlet leaned in slightly, her smile turning teasing. "Exactly. Besides, you didn't seem to mind too much."
Holo's protests caught in his throat, and he looked away, his face burning. "That's not the point…"
Before he could finish, Trixie scooted closer to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and pulling him into a tight hug. "Well, since we're all awake now, how about a good morning hug?" she said brightly.
Scarlet frowned, her eyes narrowing as she glared at Trixie. "Excuse me, but I believe I should be the one giving Holo a good morning hug."
Trixie tightened her grip on Holo, sticking her tongue out at Scarlet. "Too late. I got to him first."
Scarlet's smirk returned, though her eyes gleamed with mischief. "Oh, please. We both know he'd prefer my hug over yours. Isn't that right, Holo?"
Holo opened his mouth to respond, but no words came out. He was too flustered to form a coherent thought.
Trixie's eyes narrowed, and she shot Scarlet a smug grin. "Nice try, Scarlet. But Holo already knows I'm the best. Isn't that right, Holo?" She looked up at him expectantly, her grip on him unrelenting.
Scarlet scoffed, crossing her arms. "Don't let her pressure you, Holo. Just tell the truth."
"I—uh—I…" Holo stammered, feeling completely overwhelmed.
The two girls continued bickering, their voices growing louder as they hurled petty insults and jabs at each other. Scarlet relied on her usual tactics of gaslighting and snide comments, while Trixie countered with playful threats and mocking remarks.
"You're just jealous because I'm cuter," Trixie said, sticking out her tongue.
"Jealous? Of you?" Scarlet retorted, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Don't make me laugh."
"Oh, come on. It's obvious Holo prefers me," Trixie said, smirking. "I mean, have you seen these?" She gestured to her chest, leaning slightly closer to emphasize her point.
Scarlet's cheeks turned pink, but she quickly recovered. "Size doesn't matter," she said coolly. "Besides, Holo cares about personality. And we both know who has the better one."
"Ha! Keep telling yourself that," Trixie said with a laugh.
Holo groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Can you both stop?!"
The two girls paused, looking at him with matching expressions of surprise.
"I can't deal with this first thing in the morning," he said, his voice muffled. "Just… stop arguing, please."
Trixie pouted, but she released him from her grip. "Fine. But only because you asked so nicely."
Scarlet smirked, leaning closer to Holo. "I'll stop too. For now."
Holo sighed in relief, but his reprieve was short-lived. Both girls immediately scooted closer to him, each trying to grab his attention.
"Let's cuddle more," Trixie said, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Or we could kiss," Scarlet suggested, her tone teasing as she leaned in slightly.
Holo's face turned red, and he tried to push them away, but they both clung to him stubbornly. "I need to get up," he said, his voice strained. "Let me go."
"Nope," Trixie said cheerfully. "You're not going anywhere."
"Agreed," Scarlet said, smirking. "We're not done with you yet."
The two girls continued vying for his attention, each trying to outdo the other with hugs, kisses, and playful teasing. But their constant interference only ended up causing them to get in each other's way, much to Holo's dismay.
"Stop hogging him!" Trixie said, glaring at Scarlet.
"Maybe you should learn to share," Scarlet shot back, her tone icy.
"I don't share what's mine," Trixie said smugly, tightening her grip on Holo's arm.
Scarlet narrowed her eyes. "Neither do I."
Holo groaned, slumping against the bed as the two girls continued their tug-of-war over him. This is going to be a long day, he thought to himself.
