Huge with over bearing power, horns sharp and large enough to pierce through any blade, the Minotaur of Crete crept in the alleway staring at the busy highway side of the neon city. Muscles tweaking with anticipation as he clenched his fists and the essence concentrated around him turned sinister shifting the very air around him. He raised his hands and smashed them on the ground as a shockwave created a crack from his position traveling forward towards the road before the entire road collapsed into a large chasm. Screeches and screams from the people and cars filled the air as they fell into a seemingly endless ember abyss. The sudden shift of the essence from the pit stretched into the further out reaches of the city. Yama felt the shift first, cursing under his breath. He rushed over to where such ominous energy came from. Maya felt the shift as well as the remnants of the three diabolus disappeared to where such ominous energy lead to. She rushed over to the top of a building as civilians from the plaza felt the shockwave and saw the rising smoke and red aura like light coming form the disaster. Maya couldn't comprehend such dark and sinister essence. It felt like she couldn't even move. But she had to, her mind wouldn't settle knowing her enemy and just judging by there essence alone. She rushed over to where the pit was, dashing through busy streets, at such speed and parkour she felt the adrenaline rush finally kick in. A notification soon appeared that a new ability appeared "Reality warp".
She instantly used the ability and was a given a speed boost that made her run as fast as the speed of sound. Dashing past mirrors before they shattered she finally reached the area and was shoocked beyond belief. The dark essence around the pit was suffocating, she felt she couldn't breathe and felt caged by it's looming and overwhelming energy. But it wasn't comparable to the sinister figure that caused the very energy. She reached the alleway, sensing a dark piercing gaze staring at her. The minotaur stepped closer, he's hooves sending large thumps to the very tarmac. Maya felt his overwhelming power and gaze on her as he stood feet away from her.
"What are you doing here little girl? Did you get lost?" He said bitterness behind every word.
"What is it with overgrown men calling me little? And I believe your dumber than the last I saw." She said quizzically. A vein pulsed on his muscle at the very answer.
"Didn't anyone tell you to respect your elders girl?" He said clenching his fist surrounded by essence.
"You are not an elder if your an outsider." She said preparing to for a fight she knew she had to try her best. To know her level and rank. He thrusted his fist aiming for her face, she dodged in time placed her palms besides his arm and pushing herself away and repositioning herself as she jumped in the air and used reality warp to accelerate and hit his face with her knee. His head turned and he grunted as she places her hand on his shoulder tilting her body upwards before turning and trying to land a kick again on his face but he caught it and threw her away. Maya rolled before she could align herself and stare at her opponent.
Before Yama could reach the crater on the other side of the road, a bunch of crows flew towards him blinding his sight. He halted before standing confidently and letting out a sigh.
"Come out!!" He beckoned. The crows flew in a swarm before forming a small figure as they melted and fused into a beautiful woman. Her form black as midnight itself and dress made of crows feathers holding her staff with intertwining branches leading to a crystal pulsing at the same rate of essence from the crater.
She looked relieved to see Yama's face, on the contrary Yama didn't like it at all.
"A shame running into you. And how I grew fond of the time we grew apart." She said her voice sultry but not enticing.
"I don't recall ever having a relationship with one who presides death." He said watching her critically.
She noticed and walked towards him.
"You know I don't bite." She said, a smile that held a sinister promise formed on her face.
"Sorry I don't play boy toy. Especially with witches like you Morrígan." He said as he's snake tattoos rattled and hissed. Her expression turned bitter and she thumped her staff on the ground.
"You'll regret ever saying my name, serpent." She hissed back before the crystal hummed and a large sphere of essence formed as she raised her hand and it split into tiny balls releasing an acute amount of energy. Yama dodged towards the right and placed his hands on the ground before a turbulent wave of snakes rushed towards Morrígan. She cast a dark barrier as the sphere holding her essence grew bigger. Yama flicked his fingers as the snakes dwelled deeper before hitting the barrier and as Morrígan looked around before releasing the barrier and leapt just in time before The snakes jolted from the ground trying to bite her. She rushed forward a sphere of essence in her hand forming aiming for Yama's waist. He reacts as one hand firmly grips hers holding the sphere and sending it away while the other punches her in the gut. She gasps at the force and diverts the sphere from her hand to her mouth as her veins pulse in black and she shrieks like a banshee. Yama becomes dazzed and looses his stance as he staggers backward away from her before a beam of essence brushes off his thigh. He shakes his head and looks at her holding that petrification gaze.
"Your tricks won't work on me." She said as a pulse of essence rips the petrifying effect Yama placed.
"Am done playing." He said before a sword appeared from his coat as it glowed an aqua green hue with a hilt having an encircled serpent eating it's own tail. Morrígan hissed under her breath as more ravens appeared before her.
Back in the alleway, Maya's struggles paid off as the minotaur seemed to lose its edge with various cuts all over it's body. Gasping and shakily breathing, she raised up and beckoned the minotaur.
"Just give up and close that crater." She said.
"Diabolus never give up, especially to the likes of you!!MORRÍGAN!!!!!" he shouted as a pulse from Morrígan's stuff resonated with the shockwave from the minotaur's battle cry. Morrígan turned her head towards the staff and raise her hands sending the large sphere of essence in a streak towards the minotaur.
"This should help you Badb. Run wild." she thought. Yama remained motionless watching a high amount of dark essence disappear beyond the crater and smoke as it flowed past Maya and entered the minotaur. It flowed through him as his cuts instantly healed and his eyes changed to darker marooned hue. He dashed faster than Maya could even think. He gripped her by the neck and raised her up. Maya struggled to break free from his hold but it was like steel. He tossed her downwards with such force a crater formed. Maya's body went numb. She couldn't lift her body not even move her head even the slightest. He held her as Maya held to dear mercy before he throw her to a wall as she almost lost consciousness. The sheer force and malice infront her came closer to finish her off. Her vision blurred, she couldn't breath, her body numb, she couldn't fight, what could she do? She thought to herself before she passed out and her memories from her past life started playing in her mind.
Cheers on every birthday, smiles with friends and family, crazy teenage adventures she'd go through. Her soul stared at the very images playing before her.
"Is that me?" She asked.
Then the scene of her accident played. The experience felt recurred back to her in multitudes she couldn't understand. The doctor's voice, the beeping, the sound of screams and horror. She thought she'd die until a sudden warmth reached her. She couldn't see his face but could only hear his voice.
"Ma...ya....."
"May.....a"
Then she remembered Yama's question. Her soul pulsed. Her reasoning clear, she now remembered why. Why she wished to fight this war, why she threw away eternal rest for war. Her soul shone as bright as the sun as she awoke and a notification appeared before her.

She stares at her gift and let's out a sigh and starts laughing. Badb stops and looks puzzled and agitated by her laughter. Even Yama and Morrígan could hear her. Yama's face turned cold as he recognized it was her on the other side.
"I see. I see....I FINALLY SEE!!!"
She said standing, spreading her hands outwards as a large burst of essence engulfed her. Maya became surrounded in streaks of bright yellow as her hair turned to a paler yellow, her eyes glowing bright yellow with overflowing essence streaking outwards. Badb stared and sensed essence so holy and suffocating the dark essence with him coward. He took a step back
"What in the name of mundus is this?" He asked. Maya stood and stared at him.
"I have finally awoken from my slumber." Her voice ethereal yet angelic in nature.
"It's time for you to be cleansed." She said as Badb questioned what happened to the girl before.
