Chapter 2 - A New Beginning

Marlin woke up in his small room, a room that seemed to be located far from the world. But something strange was unsettling him, a feeling resembling fear, but deeper than that. After a moment of silence, he sensed something odd. He thought for a moment... the moon. Above him, the moon shone with a violet hue, unlike any moon he'd ever seen. Its light created a strange aura around it, stirring both curiosity and confusion.

He slowly got up and approached the window, trying to understand what was happening. His reflection on the glass caught his attention. He could see himself clearly, but something felt off. The person he saw didn't look entirely like himself. It was as if his features were strange to him, yet at the same time, there was something familiar in those brown eyes and black hair.

He ran his hand over his face, feeling something unfamiliar. It resembled another person, yet it was the same person at the same time. In that moment, memories from his previous life flooded his mind — the life he left behind. He was a 22-year-old student studying engineering. His life was filled with challenges, as he worked tirelessly throughout his university years. Life wasn't easy, but he always had the support of his family and friends.

Yet, not everything was as he had hoped. He struggled with immense pressure to succeed, and days passed by quickly without him realizing it. He sacrificed a lot in pursuit of his dreams, but he always felt something was missing. Despite this, his family was always there to support him, making him feel capable of facing any challenge.

"Who am I?" he whispered to himself, his voice soft.

As he tried to gather his thoughts, the door suddenly opened, and another young man entered the room. He looked eerily similar to Marlin, though he had brown hair and brown eyes. This person seemed to know Marlin very well.

"Have you decided?" the young man asked, his tone serious. Concern was evident in his features. Marlin stared at his face, his eyes narrowing. This was... his brother. But how could that be? He didn't remember having a family. He was beginning to realize something, something far more profound.

All he could manage to say was, "Brother? What do you mean?"

His mind, which was still trying to piece together the scattered fragments of his memories, felt a jolt. He was beginning to understand that this was not just a dream. Everything was far more complicated than that.
