Chereads / Babbs / Chapter 5 - Ch 5 - Birthday

Chapter 5 - Ch 5 - Birthday

It is a very rainy week in October this month, and a lot of kids and staff in Babbs' school are wearing raincoats, rain boots, or holding umbrellas to protect themselves from the bad weather and prevent them from getting sick, catching colds, or fevers or pneumonia or anything slightly worse.

But today is Spelling Test Day in the school and the children are looking for their test results on the hallways' bulletin board. Babbs was eager to see her score on the board whether she passed or failed the spelling test in her class. Her friends: Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie were eager as well; but also worried at the same time.

"Oooh, I hope I get a passing score on the test!" said a fourth-grader excitedly. "Me too!" said a third grader next to her. As the students of grades 1 to 5 saw their scores, the bulletin board revealed that some of them had passed, a few failed, while others had average scores on the Spelling Test. Babbs began to see her test results, and she saw that she got the highest score on her Test. WHOOPEE!! Thought Babbs happily.

Her best friend, Jackson, also received a high score on the Test, alongside Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie. Stephanie's teacher, Mr. Vandahll helped her with a voice recorder to spell out the words in order for Steph to write them while using an electronic keyboard in class. This made it easy enough to assist her with the school's Spelling Test. And she passed it with flying colors.

"Golly, I can't believe the five of us passed!!! AWESOME!!!" Exclaimed Jackson in surprise. "Us too!!!" Also exclaimed Babbs, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie. "Y'know what? I think we should celebrate!!!!!!" Said Alana happily. "But where, exactly?" Questioned Eddrick. Stephanie began to think about what location the five should celebrate at. Suddenly, Steph got an idea.

"Maybe we could ask Lowenthal. Maybe he might help. What do you fellas think?" Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, and Alana looked at each other in slight confusion. The four became a little skeptical and curious at first, apparently they swiftly agreed to do so and headed to Stephanie and Lowenthal's classroom. Alana asked, "Where and which way is your classroom, Steph?"

Stephanie thought for a minute to figure out where her class was. She then pointed. "It's this way!" Kindly said Steph. However, she was actually pointing in the opposite direction which made Jackson, Eddrick, and Alana tilt their heads in confusion.

Babbs sighed with slight annoyance and sincerity. Then Babbs quickly smiled, and kindly helped her schoolmate turn in the right direction of her classroom. "Actually Stephanie, it's that way." Described Babbs. "Oh, right. I knew that. Sorry for the confusion, guys." Said Stephanie sheepishly while flustered.

Babbs and the others sweetly forgave their friend for the confusing sense of direction. Stephanie smiled and the five went on their way to the classroom.

******************************

When Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie reached Steph's classroom, they saw Mr. Vandahll kindly helping Lowenthal retake the Spelling Test as he was one of the few kids who failed the Test. Stephanie remembered how Lowenthal was struggling with the Spelling Test earlier.

Despite being blind, she concernedly turned around to Lowenthal, and he was struggling with the words on the paper which worried Stephanie completely. Shortly after the results, Stephanie was sad that her classmate was crying after failing the Test today. She was very worried that Lowenthal might not get a passing grade, and move to third grade with her in the process.

So, Stephanie asked one of her classmates to take her back to class and ask Mr. Vandahll to help Lowes retake the Test in the best way possible.

******************************

Stephanie saw and smiled at how her teacher was helping her friend with the Test through compassion, understanding, and kindness without being stern, strict, or annoyed with Lowenthal. And she was very glad that she played her part in asking her teacher about her classmate's lack of focus.

Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, and Alana smiled as well, as they were proud of Stephanie for speaking up in order to help a friend in her class. Babbs placed her left hand on Stephanie's right shoulder as she congratulated her friend for helping Lowes with retaking his Spelling Test.

"Good job, Steph. We're glad you were able to help Lowenthal." Said Babbs as she was proud of her friend for helping Lowes with his makeup test. Jackson, Eddrick, and Alana happily and proudly nodded at Stephanie's independence and kindness towards Lowenthal which truly made Stephanie very, very happy. The five children decided to kindly wait in the hallway next to Steph and Lowes' classroom for their schoolmate to finish retaking his Spelling Test without hesitation or impatience towards their schoolmate outside the classroom.

******************************

After a few hours of waiting for their schoolmate to finish his makeup Spelling Test, Lowenthal was able to leave with a smile on his face without any problems. He then saw Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie taking a little nap while patiently waiting for Lowenthal in the process.

"Hm?" Cried Lowenthal, as he was amazed that his schoolmates stayed in the hallway for him to retake his Test. "Hey, guys? Wake up. I'm done! Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana." Said Lowenthal, while he woke up his classmates from their nap. He then saw Stephanie who was also napping as well. "Um, Steph? Stephanie? C'mon wake up, pal." Young Stephanie slowly opened her blinded eyes and released a big yawn in the hallway.

"Hm? What time is it?" Asked Stephanie as she rubbed her eyes while trying to wake up as soon as possible. "Lowes? You're done?" She asked again. "Yes, I am. Were you guys waiting for me?" Asked Lowenthal. "Of course we were silly. Stephanie showed us to your class, and we saw you retaking the Spelling Test while Mr. Vandahll was helping you along the way. And we decided to wait for you until you were done. That's all." Answered Babbs purely.

"Really…?" Questioned Lowes surprisingly. He then began to tear up from his eyes. Lowenthal happily thanked Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie for their patience and then the five hugged him kindly in comfort.

Alana then asked where they should celebrate their success on the Spelling Test Day. She also asked Lowenthal if he knew which place would be in the process. Lowenthal thought for a moment, and then he got an idea. "Hey guys, do you want to come to my place to celebrate the Test? I'm also having a birthday party as well, which is happening this Sunday. And I was wondering if you five would like to come?" He asked. "Are you sure?" Also asked Eddrick eagerly.

"Uh-huh!" Answered Lowes. "I promise, you guys will have a great time at my house. It is HUGE!!!" "How huge?" Asked Babbs in curiosity. "Well… huge like a mansion of course," Lowenthal explained. "Cool!!! That's amazing!!!!!! Said Jackson, with excitement and glee. "We'll ask our families about the party, okay?" Said Babbs kindly.

"You will?! That's great!!! I've got some invitations to give to you fellas, if you like?" Asked Lowes, as he opened his backpack, and revealed five invitations to his birthday party. He then kindly gave Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie each an invitation to his party. Babbs was so excited that her long hair began to floof up with astonishment which was great.

When younger, Babbs would always give her fellow preschool and kindergarten classmates invitations to her birthday parties. Unfortunately, they would never accept her invites, because she could only say her name when meeting and greeting people. And it made the young Babbs very sad and not to mention disappointed at the same time.

However, at her grade school, this was the first time that she got invited to a birthday party herself which was exciting and a little overwhelming too. But Babbs knew for sure she'd be okay. She knew she would. "It has the address to my mansion in case you guys would ask?" Explained Lowenthal. "Okay… thanks for the tip, Lowes." Said Stephanie as she smiled.

Lowenthal gently takes Steph's right hand and kindly places the invitation in her palm. He then helped her hold on to the invite in her hand in the process. Stephanie smiled with happiness, knowing she has great friends who are there to help and support her when she wants and needs it the most. While being her eyes when necessary.

Steph's glad to be a part of a sweet group of people who love her for who she is, no matter what difficulties she has with being visually impaired. Since her birth, Stephanie had a very hard time not having any 20/20 vision like the rest of her family and other children, especially during preschool and kindergarten as a small girl. Kids would bully her such as calling her names inspired by non-seeing animals like Ghost Olm, Salamandummy, or The Blind Mole.

Stephanie felt terrible for not having perfect eyesight like everyone else, which made her completely sad, and then cried all alone because of that. Even her parents decided to officially leave her under the care of her older brother and sister, Colin and Clarissa who were more responsible and mature than their folks would ever be since they always go to business trips and parties throughout their constant absences away from their children. Though she did not know her parents as much, Stephanie was able to be loved and respected by her two siblings. And despite not seeing she was very excellent within the other four senses. Such as hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling throughout her young life.

Now in the present, Steph has friends who are also there to help her out when she needs it the most. Even if she is visually impaired. But she doesn't care what people say about her blindness, she is fine with the way she is, now and forevermore.

******************************

On the Sunday of the party, the children: Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie all arrived with their families at Lowenthal's mansion for his birthday. "WOW, Babbster! When you meant by huge, you weren't kidding." Exclaimed Daddy. "Mm-Hm!" Nodded Babbs with a smile.

Her friends and their families were there with them while carrying presents, snacks, juice, soda, and cakes too along the way. "Goodness… I hope we all got everything for the celebration." Said Jackson's daddy, who was a little nervous about being in this new environment. Jackson held his daddy's hand, telling him that it'll be okay. Because he knew what it's like to be nervous. And that he was not alone at all.

Alana was also there with her parents too. Her mom kindly tells Alana to be good to her friends. Alana's dad tells the child to also be on her best behavior as well. "I will. I promise." Answered Alana, as she nodded while smiling sweetly. Eddrick was with his dad while his mom had to work and couldn't make it to Lowenthal's birthday party. But they promised to bring photographs on their way home in the process.

Stephanie was there with her older brother and sister, Colin and Clarissa, with Rissa holding her small right hand while Steph was holding her walking stick with her left hand on their way to the manor. Her siblings also bought some party decorations in case they, the children as well as the families would arrive at the manor early.

They all did arrive early for the adults and the teenage siblings to help decorate for Lowenthal's party. They were taller and stronger enough to reach places that were or weren't around their height. And yet, they were still able to get things done as possible.

Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie really loved and looked up to their families very much they also would try to help them when the folks or sibs needed their assistance even if the children weren't tall enough to help their families with everyday chores around their houses or their apartments and that's okay. They'll probably wait until they're older to do so no matter what.

******************************

"Mommy, can you pick me up so I can knock on the door please?" Asked Babbs. "Sure sweetie, but I'm afraid my hands are full right now. Why don't you ask Daddy?" Answer Mommy. Babbs puffed her pink rosy cheeks and began pouting a bit at her Mommy. She turned her head in slight frustration. Babbs then took a deep breath and let it out.

Babbs then went to Daddy. "Daddy, can you pick me up so I can knock on the door please?" Babbs asked her Daddy. "Of course, honeypie, I'll do that. Here we go. And try not to slip, okay?" said Daddy. "Okay!" Answered Babbs, as Daddy started to pick his daughter up with bags on his wrists, as well as his left shoulder.

"Heavens Babbers, you're getting a little heavy. Are ya still taking gym class at school every week?" Asked Daddy. "Mmmm… I'm trying to, but I still can't catch up with the other kids in my class." Babbs answered with pure honesty. "Ah, I see. That makes sense. Hmmm…" Daddy thought for a second and then came up with an idea.

He then called Mommy and whispered something in her ear about his idea. Mommy completely heard this and gave her okay in silence as she kindly winked and gently smiled at Daddy. Babbs was confused but curious about her parents' conversation, and then asked what they were talking about.

Mommy explained to her that she and Daddy would talk about it when they got home. Babbs was excited to hear what she was going to know after the party, which made her very happy in the process. She happily nodded, and now kindly knocked on the door with her right small fist to get someone to open the door from the inside of the mansion. But nobody answered, unfortunately, which made Babbs pout even more while again puffing her pink rosy cheeks for a second time.

Stephanie noticed Babbs pouting in frustration, and then sighed calmly. She knew that her friend was struggling to get someone from inside Lowenthal's mansion to open the front door. Apparently, Steph kindly asked Babbs to try using the door knocker. That way someone will respond and open the door to let the children and their families into the manor for the birthday party.

"Oh, okay! Thanks, Stephanie." Answered Babbs with a kind-hearted smile on her sweet little face. Babbs then saw the door knocker and used it to knock on the door for someone to open it. She then knocked it six times: KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK… KNOCK KNOCK!

Then she stopped, and everyone waited for a response from somebody in Lowenthal's mansion. Hopefully, the person will finally open the door. "Coming!" Answered a person from inside the manor. The children were excited about the celebration, while the grownups were checking themselves to see if they prepared themselves and got everything for Lowes' birthday.

The grownups were making sure that they had all of the presents, cakes, drinks, party favors, balloons, snacks, and so on which were all inside their cars and vans for Lowenthal's birthday celebration. All of a sudden, a little person who was a butler opened the door from the inside of the mansion.

"Good day everyone. Are you all here for Young Master L?" Asked the butler, as he opened the front door for the families outside the huge mansion. "Yes. Yes, we are sir?" Babbs answered kindly. The butler smiled sweetly. He now let the children and their families into the mansion for Lowenthal's birthday celebration. "You may come in." Guided the butler, as everyone began to step in the mansion and they were all shocked but surprised at the same time stepping inside the ginormous home of high-class luxury.

******************************

Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, Stephanie, and their families kindly followed the butler to the children's party room, while being very shocked, yet absolutely amazed at how huge as well as enormous Lowenthal's house was, which of course was completely insane.

******************************

The butler kindly introduced himself to the children and grownups as Manuel P. Jerrings. And then started to bow to everyone, and they also bowed to him as well. "Now then, the party room is this way. Allow me to escort you." Explained Manuel, who was taking everybody to the party room.

Babbs, who was still being held in her Daddy's arms, was really excited about being a part of one of her schoolmates' birthday parties for the first time. And yet, she's also getting a little overwhelmed with visiting a brand new environment since arriving on her first day of elementary school. And honestly, Babbs wasn't just nervous but overwhelmed too.

But she finally pulled through beautifully like an angel with her friends, family, and the love that they'll always give her forever. As well as Babbs doing the same for them. The little girl smiled very happily, and her parents smiled at her and at each other. Jackson started to see this and then smiled at Babbs too while blushing at her in the process.

******************************

When Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, Stephanie, and their families arrived at the party room with Manuel escorting them, he then opened the door and much to the kids' surprise there were kids from their school having a lot of fun in the party room.

This made it very amazing for Babbs and her friends as well as exhilarating to have various kids from their school through grades 1 to 5 here. Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie were no longer alone anymore.

******************************

Suddenly, Lowenthal then gently tapped Stephanie's left shoulder to get her attention behind her and the others. Steph yipped a bit, then turned in the opposite direction on her right side. Babbs again saw this and asked Daddy to put her down to help her friend. Daddy finally puts his daughter onto the floor and tries to help Stephanie turn in Lowenthal's direction.

And there was her friend Lowes in his party clothes, together with his uncle and auntie in their party clothes as well. On the day of his birth, Lowes was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, having his right arm not fully functional than his left in the process.

The doctor then explained and believed that the child may leave this world early which made his parents sadly concerned for the newborn child. Not long after that, Lowenthal lost his parents to an epidemic in his birth home of Engmany when he was still a newborn.

However not remembering his mom and dad made his young life very incomplete. Apparently , his uncle and auntie were always there for him when he needed them the most at all times.

"Hey guys! You made it!!!" Exclaimed Lowenthal excitedly. "LOWENTHAL!!!!!!" Gasped Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie as they were very, VERY happy to see their schoolmate at the party as the host and the birthday boy for the celebration of his birth.

******************************

"I'm so glad you all came to the party." Said Lowes with a very kind-hearted smile. "We're so glad to be here too, Lowes." Answered Stephanie, as she was facing Alana rather than Lowenthal. Alana became a little confused but then started laughing a bit. And Stephanie also began to laugh with Alana too.

"Need some help, Steph?" Asked Alana, while she was smiling, "Yes I do." Answered Stephanie. Lana then kindly assisted her friend to face their schoolmate, Lowenthal and Stephanie thanked Alana for helping her and gave her a big smile. Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, and Lowenthal looked at each other, then at the two girls, and smiled as well.

******************************

The six children cheerfully ran to the room to join all of their schoolmates from their grade school and have some fun with them throughout Lowenthal's birthday bash. They would play a lot of games such as: Pin the Tail on the Donkey, taking turns whacking the Piñata, playing hide and seek inside the manor, and so on and so forth within the party.

Shortly after the games, it was time for Lowenthal to open his birthday gifts. Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, Stephanie, and the rest of the children all gathered together in a full-on circle to take turns giving the birthday boy the presents.

They and their families had bought them from stores to order them from the worldwide internet web. from all of their homes days, weeks, or months before Lowes' party was planned and came to fruition.

******************************

The first gift giver was Babbs because she alongside Jackson was the one who saved Stephanie from Alana and her bullying. Which helped Alana see the wrongdoings of the horrible actions and behavior she caused inside and outside her community. This of course also helped Stephanie be more confident and outspoken of herself and to the people around her.

While at the same time finding positive and healthy solutions by using problem-solving by assisting or being assisted by those close to and not close to her. As well as also asking her own community and her older siblings for help if necessary.

Babbs kindly gives Lowenthal the first present and says: "Happy Birthday, Lowenthal. I hope you like this first gift. My Mommy, Daddy and I worked so hard to find this in one of the toy stores, but they're sold out. So I asked if we could look and order it on the internet from our computer." Said Babbs as she grinned happily at her schoolmate.

Lowes began to try the wrapping paper from his gift, which he was having a bit of difficulty ripping off with one working left hand. Lowenthal quickly pouted out of frustration because he couldn't open his birthday present properly.

However, he then calmed down and kindly asked his Auntie to hold his first gift so Lowenthal could rip the wrapping paper and reveal his present in the process. His Auntie agreed to assist her nephew with opening the first gift. Lowes then started to open his first birthday present with his left hand, while Auntie kept holding it as he continued to open it.

And a lot to Lowenthal's eyes, they began to glow with awe and wonder. Lowes was astonishingly happy to receive a toy called Rockem Stoppers as a present for his celebration; because he always wanted to buy it with his Uncle and Auntie. Unfortunately, they were sold out in every toy store around New Yorbany.

This became very frustrating for Lowenthal, as he would start to cry all the way home. However, Babbs and her family experienced that too. Apparently, they found a different approach to buying her schoolmate's present. By searching for it online on the Kappazon website.

******************************

The next second gift giver was Jackson, which he and his Daddy tried to buy on another shopping website Shi-Jay Unfortunately, it was no longer online. So, Jackson's Daddy decided to create the toy at the toy factory where he worked. He kindly told his boss about Lowes' birthday party and asked if he could work on creating the exact toy for the party before Sunday.

His boss was very curious yet skeptical about this idea of the man working on a project being created before his son's schoolmate's celebration. She worried that he wouldn't complete the toy in time before Sunday's party. However, she knew that he was the fastest employee in her toy factory since he began working as an intern during his high school years.

So, Jackson's Daddy got to work on Lowe's birthday present, by blueprinting the design, crafting the shapes, putting them together through joint and joint, as well as piece by piece, painting it entirely, and not to mention asking his son Jackson create the box and the plastic case to put the toy inside the box safely so it would not get filthy and damaged.

******************************

"Happy birthday Lowes. This present was handmade by my Daddy. While I helped with creating the box and the plastic case alongside it. I hope you enjoy it, pal!" Said Jackson very happily. "Thanks so much, Jack." Lowenthal received his gift, then he asked Jackson to hold the birthday present, so he could rip the paper with the gift inside.

It was finally revealed as a Halloween action figurine edition of the Head Half-Elf character, Benedict LaRusso, from the live-action Christmas movie from 1994, The Santa Claus Conspiracy. The figure also came with a few small-sized clothes and accessories for the toy in it. Like the carved face of a jack o'lantern pumpkin, a long ghost poncho with the skeletal face of Beck Skeletor from the 1993 stop-motion feature, Twas The Night Before Halloween.

A pink knee-length blouse with a long v-neck collar as well as puffy sleeves, along with a pair of loose light blue culotte pants and an extra set of white knee-legged and puffy elf-men bloomers to boot.

The figurine also came with a Christmas-themed battle staff for fighting enemies who would come to hurt him and those important to his life. It was in the box alongside the action figure, clothes, and accessories as well.

Not to mention, Benedict was wearing his usual holiday-themed outfit like a poofy sleeved tunic shirt, baggy-inspired pants, as well as ankle-length boots with a zipper in the middle to zip up easily without struggling with tying laces or anything at all.

******************************

"WOOOW!!! This is cool! Thanks, Babbs and Jackson. These presents are amazing!!!!!!" Happily exclaimed Lowenthal. Babbs and Jackson smiled at their schoolmate, then at each other and back to Lowes. He hugged them both much to their surprise.

Babbs and Jackson were also shocked to be hugged by another schoolmate because they'd only been kindly hugged by their families at home and the faculty at school. In fact, they've also been hugged by Alana when they let her into their circle of friends after she finally left her awful bullying habits behind for good.

And now, the two children are being hugged by Lowenthal and they are very happy with getting the gifts for him on his birthday.

******************************

Next, Eddrick gave a present to Lowenthal. Then Alana, then Stephanie, while trying to place her gift in his hand kept missing. Eddrick kindly helped her with placing the birthday present in Lowes' left hand and succeeded.

"Thanks for the help, Eddrick." Said Stephanie. "No problem pal." Answered Eddrick sweetly. After the five, the children from the same grade school also gave presents to Lowenthal for his birthday. They were either toys, video games, DVDs of films, or television shows for kids, as well as art supplies and posters. And Lowes was very happy to receive such wonderful presents.

After that, it was time for cake and to sing Happy Birthday to Lowenthal as well. All of the children gathered around in the dining hall and were ready to sing to the birthday boy. Lowes' Uncle and Auntie both began to count to three.

"1… 2… 3!" And they and the kids started to sing:

Happy birthday to you

Happy birthday to you

Happy birthday dear Lowenthal…

Happy birthday to you!

As all of the children, including Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie finally finished singing it was time for Lowenthal to blow the candles on his cake and make a wish. Lowes placed his left hand on his chest and made a wish. When he finished, he took a deep breath and blew out the candles off the birthday cake.

Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, Stephanie ,and the rest of the children from their school, all cheered happily for Lowenthal with loads of enthusiasm and whimsy to boot. Now, it was finally time for cake, with all of the butlers serving each piece of the cake to the children. However, what's more exciting was the cake itself was an ice cream cake, which became truly exciting to eat along the way. And the dessert tasted absolutely delicious. There was no doubt about it.

******************************

Sometime after that, Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, Stephanie as well as the rest of the children all received their goodie bags to take home and completely enjoyed them while they were at it. As the rain began to stop. It was time for all of the children to return to their homes.

Babbs on the other hand decided to do one thing before she, her friends, and their families got into the cars. "Thank you for inviting us to your birthday party. It was by far really awesome! And I also want to ask if you would like to join our circle of friends?" Stephanie heard this as her older sister was carrying her. She gasped softly after Babbs asked Stephanie's classmate to be a part of their friend group.

Lowenthal was shocked to hear this because he had friends who didn't have disabilities during preschool and kindergarten in the past. They honestly didn't care who he was with or without a disability nonetheless.

However, his friends began to feel very uneasy about how he walked, talked, and stood, as well as thinking and expressing himself differently than them. This caused them to no longer be his friends because of his disability. Lowenthal felt very sad and upset that he wanted to cry, but deep down he refused to do so because he had never learned to cry at all. Even after his parents died in an epidemic in Engmany.

******************************

Two years ago in the early summer of 1997 after his kindergarten graduation, Lowenthal was able to tell his Uncle and Auntie that he was not able to cry. But felt like shedding tears in the process.

Uncle and Auntie explained why their nephew couldn't cry. The two adults were finally able to talk to Lowes about his Mother and Father and that they loved him very much. Unfortunately, they lost their lives through the epidemic when he was still a newborn. And protected him no matter what.

Lowenthal was so surprised yet sadly shocked to be told by relatives about the parents he had never met. And because of hearing about them and their deaths, his eyes began to wallow up with tears. After that, Lowenthal finally began to cry for the first time. Uncle and Auntie saw this and embraced their nephew and started to weep for giving the child this information.

******************************

Babbs reached her left hand for Lowes to grab it and accept her circle of friends. As tears began to appear in his eyes, he quickly wiped them off with his left arm, finally accepting to become Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, and Stephanie's new friend. And with that, Lowenthal now has true friends he could play with and express himself throughout their school career.

******************************

Babbs, Jackson, Eddrick, Alana, Stephanie, and their families all got into their cars and vans and they drove the children back to their homes. And thus, ended a wonderful celebration that they would remember for the rest of their young lives.
