Chapter 1 Yamanaka Ino
Land of Fire, Konohagakure.
At the north end of the village stood a tall cliff. The First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, and Uchiha Madara once stood at the top of the cliff, overlooking the southern plains, envisioning a paradise without killing, without resentment, where children could take off their armor, throw away their swords, smile, and play freely.
The two gave up confrontation and joined hands to establish the largest village in the ninja world, Konohagakure. Later, the Second Hokage, upholding the will of the First, established a ninja school at the foot of the cliff.
The faces of the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Hokage were lifelike on the rock wall, with solemn expressions. The villagers could see the statues of the four Hokage when they looked up, and their respect for the leaders was heartfelt.
With half a year to go before the graduation exam, the teachers in the ninja school were doing their best to instill more knowledge into the students.
In order to know the actual level of the students, exams were naturally indispensable.
"Ah, I'm doomed..."
"It's too difficult."
"Haha, you even know it's difficult? I can't even understand the questions!"
The students wailed, everyone felt that the questions were too difficult, and blank papers were everywhere.
A few top students discussed in low voices, they believed that at least three of the ten questions belonged to the Chunin exam category. Heaven and earth conscience, they were not even Genin yet.
With blond hair and blue eyes, a tuft of bangs covering her right eye, wearing a white long-sleeved jacket, with the Chinese character "亥" on each of her blue and green striped arms, Yamanaka Ino was a bit strange in the eyes of her classmates, because she was somewhere between a top student and a poor student.
After handing in the paper, her movements and expressions looked unusually heavy.
"Ino, did you fail the exam too?" A familiar female classmate asked in a low voice.
"It's just... alas, it's hard to say, I did so poorly in this exam, I must have failed, I wrote several places wrong, my head is full of mush now." Ino's face was full of frustration, as if she was about to cry the next second.
"It's okay, it's just a mock exam."
"Yeah, one mistake is nothing."
Several plastic sisters took her hand and comforted her.
Before long, Iruka, a young teacher wearing a Chunin vest with a noticeable scar on the bridge of his nose, finished marking the papers and announced the results on the spot.
"Ino, 95 points, first place!"
"Haruno Sakura, 94 points, second place."
"."
The necks of several poor student sisters stiffened, and their eyes on Ino changed. Seeing your expression just now, we were ready to comfort you on the surface and secretly laugh at you, but the result? First place? Are you kidding me!
Ino secretly rejoiced in her heart, you play in class, you play at home, I play in class, and I study hard at home, can this be the same?
As a person who applied for a sales job in order to buy a house, got an internal price and went to a decoration company as an intern, and then jumped to a furniture store as a shopping guide, she had no fixed occupation. After working hard for more than half a year, she was about to move into a new house when she suddenly traveled to the crisis-ridden Naruto world, her heart was very broken.
She didn't know who would get that house cheaper in the end, and she felt like she was losing blood when she thought about it.
Ino looked out the window, several black shadows swept past her eyes at an extremely fast speed, and disappeared from her vision in less than two seconds. She knew very well that those were ninjas from the village.
Everyone was accustomed to it. "Supermen" who could jump eight meters high and break a tree with one punch were everywhere in the village. They didn't take the good road, but jumped over the roofs of other people's houses. This was a "basic operation" for many ninjas. After going through panic, surprise, anxiety and caution, she gradually got used to it.
Since she couldn't change the world, she could only try to change herself.
Study, no matter whether it is useful or not, she has conducted in-depth study of all the knowledge that can be learned in school, even the "Will of Fire" series of books criticized by time travelers, she found the handwritten book by the Third Hokage in the school, and read it very seriously from beginning to end twice.
Unfortunately, this thing is not the Lankavatara Sutra, there are no martial arts secrets between the lines.
In order to become stronger, she studied hard, and in order not to be isolated by her classmates, she had to pretend to be a poor student. In the final analysis, it was because of lack of security.
Everyone got their own papers, and Iruka-sensei started to explain the questions.
"The ninth question, ether dissolved in a certain aromatic hydrocarbon, first add dilute hydrochloric acid, then add sodium hydroxide solution, stir and layer, what is the compound in the final ether layer?"
"What is it?" He didn't expect the students to answer at all, and he started writing on the blackboard on his own.
"This is a problem often encountered by ninjas when performing missions. Due to the lack of some necessary conditions, we must make reasonable assumptions and analysis. Assuming that this aromatic hydrocarbon has an amino group, it will react with hydrogen chloride first, then we have to make an analysis..."
He began to list several situations that would arise, and after each hypothesis, he would write down specific analysis ideas and results. After writing a blackboard densely, this question was completely solved.
"What is a ninja? Only a person who has a calm mind and can analyze intelligence in battle can be called a ninja." Iruka said earnestly, he looked at his blackboard writing, the analysis was reasonable, the explanation was clear, and his tone and intonation when speaking were quite encouraging. He glanced at the classroom out of the corner of his eye, and his heart sank directly to the bottom of the sea, because...no one was listening at all.
"Slap!" Iruka-sensei slapped the blackboard, his voice suddenly raised: "You are the worst class I have ever taught, what are you dazing about? Write it down for me! Maybe this question will be in the exam! Write it all down for me!"
"Okay."
"Hi."
"Got it."
Except for a few real good students who were writing furiously, the remaining ninety percent of the students responded in a listless tone, and the pencils in everyone's hands scribbled a couple of times as if they were perfunctory. Judging from their performance, these guys were a bunch of poor students.
Ino still maintained the role of a fake poor student and a real top student. She rested her chin on her left hand, looked up from time to time, and recorded a brief summary of the content on the blackboard in a slightly lazy posture.
Iruka-sensei on the podium was still roaring at a room full of poor students. To be fair, he was a good teacher, serious and responsible, patient and meticulous, and the virtues of the teaching profession could basically be seen in this 22-year-old man.
But for many 12-year-olds, this stuff is really hard to learn.
There are no special mathematics, chemistry, and physics courses here. There are only five courses in the ninja school: theory, exercise, perception, history, and practice.
A large amount of knowledge of mathematics, chemistry, physics, and geography is integrated into one theoretical course, so it is naturally difficult for students to learn.
If it weren't for the higher education in her previous life, it wouldn't be so easy for Ino to learn.
