On his way home, Armstrong is stopped by a voice saying, "You!"
It's William, accompanied by a large boy. Armstrong remembers him—this boy, named Albert, used to bully him alongside William.
Albert and William attack Armstrong, beating him mercilessly. Armstrong hadn't expected this, especially since they were at the school entrance, with many people watching. This makes Armstrong unable to kill them, even though he desperately wants to.
"Stop!" A voice shouts from a distance, and someone pulls the fools away.
It's Mr. Daniel. He scolds them and takes Armstrong to the clinic, where he tends to his wounds expertly, almost like a doctor, despite being a math teacher.
Armstrong, who was a doctor in his past life, notices this and asks, "Are you a doctor?"
Daniel replies, "Did you notice? I studied medicine but couldn't finish due to lack of money. I decided to study math instead and work part-time to save up. Math tuition is cheaper than medicine."
After bandaging Armstrong's wounds, Daniel says, "Alright, go home and rest."
Armstrong thanks him and leaves.
