Chapter 3 - Act 1 – “The World in Chains” Introduction to Prime Eden

Prime Eden was not a place of grace. The city was a labyrinth of high walls and floating platforms that separated the elites from the slum dwellers. While the rich lived in secured districts, in a world of luxury and technological advancement, the rest of us were trapped in darkness. Violence and anarchy ruled the slums, where the Blood Chain held sway – a network of syndicates and mercenaries that kept us in constant fear. They offered "protection," but demanded a high price and were ruthless in their methods.

Amidst this chaos, the resistance group, the White Wolves, rose up against the powerful. They fought with raw violence, sabotaged the elites, and were seen by many as terrorists. But to me, they were more than that; they were a spark of hope, a sign that one could rise up against oppression.

Kyros Youth and Path of Survival

In the midst of this harsh world, it was Aria who taught me humanity. She was strong and caring, a sister figure who protected me as I wandered the slums. Aria had never belonged to the White Wolves; at first, we were alone, just her and me, fighting together for survival. Her strength and convictions shaped me, and I knew I never wanted to lose her.

"You have to be strong, Kyro," she often said, as we sat in a quiet corner of the slums, hiding from the chaos. "The world will try to break you, but you have to fight for what you believe in."

These words shaped me in my early years and gave me the strength to discover the resonance within me. I knew that one day I would break the chains and fight against the darkness that held us all captive. Yet the secrets of the three families and the darkness that surrounded them were still far from what I could imagine.
