"Engkanto" monsters that stalk the night, preying on the ones that stray from the light.
Many people fear these creatures, their savagery, their strength and their hunger... Hunger from human flesh.
From this age of fear emerges protectors called "Albularyos". These people posses the strengths and abilities to combat the night. The weapons they posses rival their mightiest threats, these weapons are called amulets.
Objects that transform into weapons that kill and give strength. With this the Albularyos drove back the dark army into the abyss. But some still stalk the shadows.
A few centuries later a family came to the country. A group of Engkantos called Aswangs targetted the pregnant wife, but was met by her husband a foreign man. The Aswangs attacked the man only to be greeted by his fist which is hard as iron and hits like a truck.
The man drove every single group that targetted his family for two years. The Aswangs later called this man "Unkillable" and left him alone. That man's name was "Cain Alvarez the first murderer"
