The winner is 'reborn as a demonic tree' by author: XKARNATION. Give a round of applause for everyone that chose this because honestly this was the second choice that I was going to make. With the first being 'I became a god in a horror game' but honestly I understand why people didn't choose it. When I first heard it had Yaoi in it I was a bit off putted but I have to say it is a great story especially for people who like reading horror type novels. Now on to my personal thoughts on 'reborn as a demonic tree'.

I'm not even sure of many people have read it but there's a novel out there that has a similar premise. It's called 'evolution starts with a big tree' where the main character magically wakes up as a magical tree with a system. This system allows the user to get more powerful the more creatures he eats.
'reborn as a demonic tree' is similar to that but with a twist. It falls in a more cultivation like path than magic, the system has a few extra powers, and of course the tree is well demonic. It runs on a bit of a slow pace. The first few chapters is more so the user getting used to living as a tree with the main character not really getting in any confrontations other than hunting small creatures.
I don't really know what more to say without spoiling the novel so if you want to learn more either go to lightnovel pub and read a few chapters or you can wait until Monday when I post the first few chapters.
