CHAPTER 1

Yaoyao's Happy Life

Mr. Zhao said, "Today's morning is very beautiful." While gazing out of their living room window at the sunrise over the city skyline.

Yaoyao stirred her breakfast lazily, replying " Hmmm, Dad you say that every morning."

Her mom, Xue Ying smiled warmly, " its because every morning is beautiful in our family."

Sipping her soy milk, Yaoyao said, "Dad can we visit the Forbidden City this weekend? My friends and I want to study the history exhibits." Her mother, Mrs. Zhao, smiled while cooking breakfast in the kitchen. "How about this Friday afternoon, dear? Your father has a meeting at a company near Wangfujing Street in the morning." Yaoyao said, "Okay, mom."

Then she left for college, and after her classes ended, Yaoyao looked up from her book, a hint of a smile on her face.

"Shopping? You're speaking my love language, Zehui! Exams can wait a few hours."

"Yessss, knew you'd see it my way, Yaoyao! Makeup shopping spree, here we come... plus maybe some clothes and accessories too?"

Yaoyao laughed, closing her book and standing up.

"Maybe some clothes and accessories are guaranteed. Lead the way, shopping queen Zehui!"

But today is the day that would bring unexpected events that would change her life forever.

Whatever Yaoyao and Lui Zehui went shopping together. At the mall, Yaoyao bought many clothes, ate, and drank, as they were very hungry. They had soup dumplings and noodles at a restaurant, and Lui Zehui suggested watching a movie. They watched a Romantic movie and after watching the movie, they took photos at a photo booth. Having done all these activities, they spent a lot of time and got very tired. Now, they were heading back home.

When she came back home, She saw her uncle, Li Di, who was there to meet her father. He often came to discuss business deals with Yaoyao's dad, but this time, it seemed different. Yaoyao greeted her uncle and chatted with him for a while before retiring to her room.

However, she overheard her father and uncle discussing her engagement to her cousin, Lin Deiyen. Yaoyao was shocked and upset. She had always dreamed of finding her ideal man, whom she often imagined in her dreams. But this sudden engagement had left her distraught.

Yaoyao had already heard about the engagement before her dad could discuss it with her. When her uncle left and her parents called her to discuss the matter, she was already prepared to say no. Her parents tried to persuade her, but Yaoyao couldn't go against her heart. Her mother said, "These are just unrealistic dreams; don't ruin your life chasing them." But no matter what her parents said, Yaoyao wouldn't budge. Her parents thought this was the best choice for her, but Yaoyao wanted to follow her heart. She tried her best, but her parents wouldn't listen. They thought they were making the right decision for her, but they ignored her feelings.

Yaoyao made a difficult decision since her parents don't agree with her. She thought there was no other way out except to run away. She didn't want to do this, but she saw no other option. So, she made a plan and prepared to leave. Before leaving, she left a letter saying, "Mom, Dad, I'm sorry. I didn't want to do this, but I had no other choice. I don't like Lin Deiyen, and I want to find my true happiness and be with the person I love."

Then, she packed her bags and ran away from home. However, in her haste, she forgot to take money, and she had nowhere to go. She wandered the streets, feeling helpless and lost. Suddenly a thief steal her bag and run away, She ran after him but couldn't find him, Now she lost her bag which had her identifications.

CHAPTER 2

Lost In The Dark Rainy Night

 Night was falling, and the streets were getting dark. She was thinking about what to do next when suddenly it started raining, and thunderstorms began. The heavy rain made her even more worried. She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice a car approaching behind her. The driver, Sun Mu Yun, was a handsome college student with a cold and expressionless face. At that moment, his friend Yu Shi called him repeatedly, Sun Mu Yun get distracted and lose control of the car and Yaoyao was in front of his car he was shouting loudly to move away infront of the car but Yaoyao was so lost in thoughts and got hit by the car, At this moment yaoyao felt a lot of pain and fell unconscious.

Sun Mu Yun got out of the car, rushed to Yaoyao, and took her to the hospital. The doctors were treating Yaoyao, and Sun Mu Yun is waiting anxiously. After a long time, a doctor came and said, "The patient has regained consciousness, but it seems she has lost her memory and can't recall anything, not even her name."

Sun Mu Yun went inside to see Yaoyao, She was staring at him with many questions in her mind. Her brain was filled with thoughts, wondering,"who this person?" And "why he is here?"

Sun Mu Yun asked, "Do you remember your name and who you are?"

 Yaoyao became worried and tried to think hard, but she couldn't remember anything. Her head started hurting, and she felt scared.

Sun Mu Yun was taken aback, wondering what to do with this girl who didn't even know who she was. Just then, a doctor came and said, "The patient is fine, but it seems she has lost her memory." Sun Mu Yun was asked to sign the discharge papers, and the doctor assumed he was Yaoyao's boyfriend.

Sun Mu Yun decided to take Yaoyao to his home because the accident was happened because of him and he felt guilty. When he told Yaoyao that she was being discharged and he is taking her to home,

Then she looked at him suspiciously. "Who are you?" she asked.

Sun Mu Yun lied, saying, "I'm your fiancé.

" Yaoyao was confused, "How can I trust you? I don't remember anything, not even your name."

 Sun Mu Yun quickly made up a story, saying, " Your name is Yaoyao ( he saw her name on her dairy) and your parents are abroad, and you live with me. We have a great time together, going out to eat and watching movies." Yaoyao sensed that Sun Mu Yun meant no harm, so she decided to trust him.

When they arrived at Sun Mu Yun's apartment, Yaoyao looked around, trying to remember if she had been there before. But she couldn't recall anything. Sun Mu Yun handed her a glass of water and told her to rest.

 "This is your room," he said. "You can rest while I make dinner." Sun Mu Yun said,

Sun Mu Yun was cooking in the kitchen, thinking about how to answer all of Yaoyao's questions. After a while, he knocked on the door to call Yaoyao for dinner. Yaoyao had fallen asleep, but she was having a nightmare. She was scared in her sleep, still shaken by the accident. Yaoyao suddenly grabbed Sun Mu Yun's hand, and she didn't feel scared anymore. She fell asleep peacefully. Sun Mu Yun thought it would be best to take a few days off from university to care for Yaoyao.

Yaoyao wake up from sleep after a while and want to take some fresh air so she went out for a walk and suddenly saw a car speeding by besides her, which scared her and triggered her phobia of cars after the accident.

Just then, Sun Mu Yun appeared and comforted her.

"Don't be afraid, I'm here," said Su Mu Yun

CHAPTER 3

A Beautiful time

Yaoyao began to trust him a bit more. As time passed, Sun Mu Yun and Yaoyao spent more time together. Sun Mu Yun would wake up early, cook breakfast for Yaoyao, and leave notes before going to university. Yaoyao felt more comfortable with Sun Mu Yun now, but she got bored staying at home all day.

Sun Mu Yun suggested that Yaoyao to attend university with him. Yaoyao agreed but was unsure about her major. Sun Mu Yun offered to let her join his major which is medical, and she agreed. Sun Mu Yun arranged for Yaoyao's admission to the university. On their first day, Yaoyao was eexcited and asked Sun Mu Yun that " where I used to study before I lost my memory?", then Sun Mu Yun made up a lie that she used to study abroad.

At the university, Sun Mu Yun was known as the dream guy, but he was cold and distant. Many girls tried to attract him, but he wasn't interested. When Yaoyao appeared with Sun Mu Yun, the girls started gossiping. Among them was Zhang Bing, a vicious and scheming girl. when she saw yaoyao for the first time by Sun mu yun's side she got very jelous and became Yaoyao's sworn enemy.

"Who is this girl beside Su Mu Yun? This girl is playing with fire, I won't let her succeed in her intentions" Zhang Bing Said,

In the class room Yaoyao sits alone, reviewing notes, when a lively voice beside her says:

"Mind if I join you? Class looks boring without someone to talk to... I'm Xinyi!"

Yaoyao looks up, smiling slightly. "I am Yaoyao, Nice to meet you! Sit down, Xinyi!"

After their first class together, Yaoyao met Xinyi on her first day of University.

 the very first of yaoyao, she made a friendship bond with Xinyi. After class, Sun Mu Yun and Yaoyao went to the cafeteria. When they returned to the counter, Zhang Bing and her friend Xiao Xing appeared, taunting Yaoyao. Zhang Bing claimed to be Sun Mu Yun's fiancée and told yaoyao to stay away from Sun Mu Yun, but Sun Mu Yun came defend Yaoyao, telling Zhang Bing to respect his fiancée.

After classes, Sun Mu Yun and Yaoyao headed home.

Yoayao said, I am hungry, how about we eat something first?"

"okay, But eat less or you will be a fatty," Sun Mu Yun in a playful way with a funny smile,

Yaoyao replied, " who are you calling fat, I am on diet. I just eat a bread and coffee, then some snacks and soda, later a burger, a drumstick and rice just.

"You say it dieting, I think even a normal person don't eat that much and you are still hungry. Is you stomach is a black hole or something." Sun Mu Yun said while llaughing and mocking her,

So they stopped at a restaurant to have noodles. Noodles were Yaoyao's favorite. She was creating a new personality in her new life, and Sun Mu Yun was a part of those memories. Yaoyao and Sun Mu Yun's relationship was growing stronger, but sometimes Sun Mu Yun was cold, which was just his habit. Now, Yaoyao understood Sun Mu Yun better and found his behavior normal. They had grown accustomed to living together, and their feelings had become like friendship. However, Sun Mu Yun's behavior was sometimes annoying, but he cared deeply for Yaoyao in his heart. He didn't even realize when he started liking Yaoyao.

One day, at the university, Sun Mu Yun was busy with some work and wasn't with Yaoyao. Zhang Bing took advantage of the situation and bumped into Yaoyao, slipping her ring into Yaoyao's bag. Then, she pretended to look for her ring.

"Oh my god, My ring is lost, Where can it be that's was the present from my dad and it was very expensive. What do I do?" with a worried voice Zhang Bing said,

Just then, Sun Mu Yun arrived and rescued Yaoyao from the situation.

"Sir, why don't you check security cameras, a person can lie but cameras can't lie." Said Sun Mu Yun,

The security camera revealed that Zhang Bing had intentionally put the ring in Yaoyao's bag. Zhang Bing was caught, and the two were allowed to leave. Yaoyao thanked Sun Mu Yun for trusting her.

Sun Mu Yun and Yaoyao were incredibly dependent on each other, to the point where they didn't seem like strangers, but rather lovers. As time passed, Sun Mu Yun began to realize his feelings for Yaoyao. He couldn't help but notice her everywhere, and when they were apart, he would call her repeatedly to ask about her. He slowly came to terms with having fallen for her.

On the other hand, Yaoyao started to trust Sun Mu Yun more, and her life began to revolve around him. He was the one who made her feel alive, and her new life had begun with him.

CHAPTER 4

The Love's Awakening

One day, while Sun Mu Yun was cooking, Yaoyao sat in front of him, working on her laptop. Sun Mu Yun got distracted watching her and accidentally burned his finger with hot oil. Yaoyao rushed to his side,

Just as the moment between them was reaching its peak, Yaoyao's phone rang, shattering the intimacy. It was a call from her classmate Xinyin. With a hint of reluctance, Yaoyao answered the call and slipped away to her room. Leaving the awkward moment behind.

The next day, Yaoyao couldn't get rid of the feeling of the previous day's encounter with Sun Mu Yun. "Did Zhang Bing said or did something that made you distracted?" Yaoyao hesitated, and she was not sure how to share her feelings. "It's just…I don't know, Xinyi. I feel like something's changed between Sun Mu Yun and me."

Xinyi's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "What's changing? Oh I understand, you are falling for him, right." Yaoyao hesitantly said no.. "I am not… But her eyes were saying everything. Yaoyao took a deep breath, trying to put her emotions into words. She said, "I don't know if I am falling for him or not." Then Xinyi said, "Whenever you are with him you feel like your heart is skipping a beat but you can't help but steal glances at him and when he is not around you feel like missing him and wants to see him impatiently, right" Yaoyao said, "Yes I feel all these." Yaoyao's voice trembled as she asked, "Is it really love? Am I really falling for him? How can I fall… it makes me feel so so nervous, when I'm with him?"

Xinyi smiled and said, "That's exactly what love feels like, It's uncomfortable, and makes you nervous but it also make you feel like you are flying in the sky. You feel very happy when you're with him, don't you?"

Yaoyao whispered, "I…I don't know. Maybe. But what if it's not love? Xinyin said, "My silly girl, you are really in love. Just don't think too much." Sometimes, you just have to let your heart follow the way.

However, that night, they were sitting on the sofa at home, watching a movie with popcorn in their hands. The dim lighting and cozy atmosphere made Yaoyao feel relaxed and comfortable. But they weren't watching a romantic movie; instead, it was a horror movie that made her heart skip a beat. The movie was so intense that Yaoyao let out a terrified scream when suddenly, a frightening scene appeared on screen. Her eyes widened with fear as she clutched Sun Mu Yun's arms tightly.

In the movie, a scene showed the lights suddenly going out, and coincidentally, their lights also went out. Yaoyao's grip on Sun Mu Yun's arms tightened as she whispered, "What's happening?" However, it was too late at night, and the electrician wouldn't arrive until morning. They had to spend the night in the dark.

Sun Mu Yun suggested, "Let's sleep in the room; it's getting late." But Yaoyao refused, saying, "You know I'm scared; I'll stay here with you. We can sleep on the sofa."

They sat on the sofa, and as the night wore on, Yaoyao's eyelids grew heavy, and she began to feel sleepy. She leaned against Sun Mu Yun, her head resting on his shoulder, and soon fell asleep, her head slipping onto Sun Mu Yun's lap. He felt a rush of affection as he gazed at her peaceful face. The next morning, Yaoyao woke up to find her head still on Sun Mu Yun's lap. She felt a little shy, realizing how they had slept. Her cheeks flushed as she quickly got up, trying to avoid the awkwardness. Sun Mu Yun woke up, and Yaoyao quickly said, "I'll go freshen up and get ready for class," and hastily left the room.

Later after class Yaoyao visited the library to study. she was looking for a book but it was on a high shelf, As she reached for a book on a high shelf, Sun Mu Yun appeared behind her, his face inches from hers. Yaoyao froze, her heart pounding in her chest. Sun Mu Yun gently took the book from the shelf, his hand burshing against hers. Yaoyao's face turned red and she wants escape from this moment.

CHAPTER 5

From Darkness to Light

Next day at the museum, the group split up to explore. Yaoyao and Sun Mu Yun walked into the museum together, surrounded by ancient artifacts and relics with their historical stories. Sun Mu Yun waited patiently outside the restroom as Yaoyao cleaned up. When she emerged, she was surprised to find her long-lost best friend, Lui Zehui, standing before her. Lui Zehui was overjoyed to be reunited with Yaoyao, who had no memory of her.

As they hugged, Lui Zehui exclaimed, "I was so worried about you! What happened to you?" Yaoyao, still confused, replied, "I...I don't know. I don't remember anything." Lui Zehui reassured her, "Don't worry, we'll figure it out. I'm just glad we're reunited."

When Yaoyao entered the washroom, she was surprised to see a familiar face – her best friend Lui Zehui, whom she had forgotten due to her memory loss. Lui Zehui was shocked to see Yaoyao and rushed to her side, asking where she had been and why she had disappeared. Yaoyao explained that she had lost her memory and didn't remember anything.

Lui Zehui revealed that she had been searching for Yaoyao everywhere and was relieved to have finally found her.

"Finally, I found you, Yaoyao. You don't know how much I was worried about you. Said Lui Zehui,

"Hmmm, I…I don't know what you are talking about and who are you? Said Yaoyao in a confused voice,

Lui Zehui replied," I am your friend Lui Zehui, Don't you remember me? Its been few months and you already forgot me."

"Its not like that, I lost my memory in a accident so I don't remember anything about my past. Said Yaoyao,

"What you lost your memory?" " You had a accident, Are you okay," Yaoyao. Said Lui Zhui,

Yaoyao replied, "I am okay."

Yaoyao was confused and couldn't understand what was happening. Before she could process anything, her friend Xinyi arrived and took her away. However, Lui Zehui and Yaoyao's entire conversation was overheard by Zhang Bing, who saw this as a threat to Sun Mu Yun and Yaoyao's relationship.

When Yaoyao returned with Xinyi

Sun Mu Yun asked," Yaoyao, Why you look so pale?" "Is everything okay?"

Yaoyao brushed it off, saying " I might have eaten something bad." " I am okay. Don't worry."

 They then went out with friends to eat, but Yaoyao's mind was still distracted.

The next day, Zhang Bing approached Yaoyao again, asking if she had confronted Sun Mu Yun about her past.

" Yaoyao, I am sure you still didn't asked him the truth about your past yet, right"

Yaoyao ignored her and walked away. Now Zhang Bing decided to threaten Sun Mu Yun directly.

She met Sun Mu Yun and revealed that she knew his secret: "Sun Mu Yun, I know Yaoyao is not your real fiancée and you have been deceiving her." "Do you think she will forgive you, said in calm voice Zhang Bing,

Mu Yun's expression turned stern as he warned Zhang Bing: "If you dare to expose the truth to Yaoyao, I'll never let you go."

Then Sun Mu Yun suddenly reminds the doctor's warning that Yaoyao's emotional stability is important for her recovery. While he had no other choice but to agree to Zhang Bing's terms.

Zhang Bing replied, " I won't say anything as long as you will be with me."

Yaoyao was shocked and sad to learn from Lui Zehui that Sun Mu Yun was not her fiancé.

 She felt betrayed and deceived by Sun Mu Yun's lies. With a heavy heart, Yaoyao packed her bags and left, telling Sun Mu Yun that she never wanted to see him again.

Sun Mu Yun said, I didn't mean to deceive you, I had no choice at the time."

Yaoyao said, " I was so naive that I fell for your lies, and I thought too much of you. We were never meant to be, and it's clear we have nothing to do with each other."

Sun Mu Yun tried to explain himself, but Yaoyao wouldn't listen. She left with Lui Zehui, and Sun Mu Yun was left alone, filled with regret.

Days turned into weeks, but Yaoyao's heart remained heavy. Tears fell like rain in her room, as memories of Sun Mu Yun haunted her every day. She couldn't shake the pain of his absence, and the pain of his betrayal.

Sun Mu Yun would come to visit, but Yaoyao's door remained shut, her heart sealed off from the one person who had hurt her the most. She couldn't bear the thought of facing him. Sun Mu Yun stood at Lui Zehui's doorstep, his eyes pleading for a chance to see Yaoyao. But Lui Zehui's expression was unforgiving, her voice was full with anger. "How could you deceive her like that?" "Do you know every she pretends to be happy and tough but in her room alone she cries everyday for you?"

Sun Mu Yun's explained, that night of the accident.

"That night she was hit by my car and she lost her memory, I couldn't leave her like that so I took her in, pretending to be her fiancé, because the doctor said a happy and stress-free environment would aid in her recovery." Sun Mu Yun, Revealed the depth of his emotions.

"I wanted her to feel safe. I did it all for her, to help her heal. I never meant to hurt her." Sun Mu Yun said,

Sun Mu Yun said further, " I am fallen deeply in love with Yaoyao and couldn't imagine living without her. I am willing to wait for her forgiveness and would spend my entire life making it up to her."

 Yaoyao overheard the conversation between Sun Mu Yun and Lui Zehui, and finally, the truth was revealed to her. Although she understood Sun Mu Yun's intentions, she still couldn't forgive him easily.

Sun Mu Yun felt desperate, as if decades had passed since he last saw Yaoyao. He longed to see her and explain everything, but she wasn't giving him a chance. His friend, Yu Shi, devised a plan: "Pretend to be seriously injured. That way, Yaoyao will definitely come to see you."

At first, Sun Mu Yun thought it was a bad idea, but he was willing to try anything to win Yaoyao back. So, he agreed to the plan. Yu Shi spread the news that Sun Mu Yun was in the hospital, critically injured.

Yu shi said on a call, " Yaoyao, You should come to the hospital, Sun Mu Yun is seriously injured and he is in ICU. If you don't came now, maybe you will regret forever.

Yaoyao was shocked and worried when she heard the news. She became emotional and rushed to the hospital to see him. When she arrived at Sun Mu Yun's hospital room, she saw him lying in bed, covered in bandages. He looked weak and pale, and Yaoyao's heart went out to him.

But as she looked closer, she realized something wasn't right. She discovered it was a trick to lure her and get her attention.
