Chapter 2 - Accidentally stumbled upon an adulterous affair

Diego Morales' face turned cold, and he coldly uttered four words: "You have no choice!"

Aurora Morales knitted her beautiful brows tightly and said, "It's just five million. I'll pay it back."

"Pay it back?" Diego Morales retorted. "What can you use to pay it back? Do you think five million is just a piece of paper that you can easily make up for with a few words?"

Catalina López looked extremely difficult."Master, isn't it too unfair to Aurora to make her marry the young master of The Vargas family?"

"What's unfair about it! If it's not her, then it's Valentina! I originally thought it would be fine for this girl to be with Javier Fernández. After all, the Fernández Group is also a big family. But I never expected this kind of thing to happen!"

After saying that, Diego Morales didn't allow Aurora to have any chance to refute. "I'll contact The Vargas family later and tell them to change the bride. You get ready to marry into their family!"

"Dad!"

No matter what Aurora said, Diego Morales remained unmoved and stuck to his decision.

However, this marriage was clearly originally arranged for Valentina! After deciding to change the bride, Diego Morales sent people to keep a close eye on Aurora, not allowing her to run around.

Aurora returned to her room and kept sending WeChat messages to Javier, telling him that what happened last night was a misunderstanding and hoping to have a face - to - face talk with him.

But soon, a red exclamation mark blocked her communication with Javier. When she tried to call him, the call couldn't go through either.

Aurora knew that she seemingly did something to betray Javier, but she really didn't mean it! The sudden disappearance of that text message was definitely not an accident. There must be someone playing tricks behind the scenes. She couldn't just sit and wait for her fate. She had to go to Javier in person and explain things clearly!

Waiting until the middle of the night, when everyone in the Morales family was asleep, Aurora carefully slipped out through the back door. The wedding house that Javier had prepared was very close to the Morales family residence. He had once said that this way, Aurora could go home often after they got married.

Aurora soon arrived downstairs of the villa. She took out the key and opened the door. There was no light in the living room on the first floor. She turned on the flashlight on her phone and shone it on the ground, only to see a woman's short - sleeved shirt. On the winding stairs, there were women's underwear and panties scattered around.

Aurora's body trembled violently, and her heart sank to the bottom instantly. It was obvious what had happened. Until a slight noise came from upstairs, she then stretched out her trembling hand to hold the railing and lifted her legs as if they were filled with lead.

The door of the bedroom was ajar. Inside, there were ambiguous whispers that made people's minds wander. A man and a woman were responding to each other, and the voices were extremely familiar. It seemed that the "battle" had just ended.

Aurora could see through the crack of the door the scene of the two of them snuggling together naked.

"Javier, who do you think is better between me and my sister?" Valentina asked coquettishly.

Javier Fernández sneered disdainfully. "Why mention that bitch? She seemed so pure and innocent on the surface. She was with me for two years and wouldn't even let me kiss her. Who knew she was such a slut behind my back! You told me before that Aurora Morales had a messy private life, and I didn't believe it. But it turns out to be true! If it weren't for you getting the news and telling me, and we caught her in the act, I might have married a woman who cheats on me into my family!"

Valentina pouted coquettishly. "I didn't want to see you kept in the dark, Javier. That's why I told you. You won't think I'm being talkative, will you?"

"Of course not, my baby. I'm grateful to you." Javier gently kissed her hair.

"Javier, are you really going to break up with my sister? Then what about the wedding? The wedding date has already been set." Valentina's eyes were full of charm, and she spoke softly, her finger swirling on Javier's chest.

Javier couldn't resist such flirting. He grabbed Valentina's finger, and his heart melted. "I'll marry you! I was just playing with her in the first place. A wild girl who came back from the countryside can't even compare to a single finger of my precious Valentina! Besides, you've been wronged and endured for a year to be with me. I feel so bad for you."

When Aurora heard this, she felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar. She couldn't believe that such harsh and unpleasant words could come out of Javier's mouth, who was usually so gentle and refined. What kind of gentle and elegant gentleman? After being together for two years, she never realized that all these were just masks Javier wore!

Combining all these things like "one year", "informing", and "cheating", Aurora already understood why what happened last night occurred.

"Bang!" Aurora kicked the door open. Valentina was startled and let out a scream, shrinking into Javier's arms. A flash of panic crossed Javier's face, but it quickly returned to calm.

He quickly grabbed the quilt to cover Valentina's body, then looked up at Aurora with disgust. "How dare you come here?"

"Javier, if you want to break up, just say it directly. There's no need to be so devious. It really makes me sick." The fact that he colluded with Valentina to set her up made Aurora look down on him from the bottom of her heart.

Javier didn't understand what she meant. He thought she was referring to his cheating. He showed no sign of shame. "Since you already know, there's no need for me to hide it. Anyway, you've also done something to sorry me. We're even."

Aurora's five fingers under her sleeve suddenly clenched tightly, and a chill filled her heart. "You've been together for over a year, and you still have the nerve to say 'we're even'. You really have a thick skin."

Javier became even more annoyed. "Aurora Morales, don't you think you're acting like a hypocrite by saying these things now? Look at the marks on your neck. What right do you have to talk about me?"

Before Aurora could reply, Valentina in Javier's arms started to speak in a plaintive voice. "Javier, don't be so harsh on my sister. After all, you've been together for so long, and you must have some feelings, right? It's normal for my sister to be angry when she finds out about us. Why don't you go and comfort her? I'll be fine alone."

Aurora looked at Valentina with extreme disgust. "Can you cut out that fake - innocent act? You think you're so great just by shedding a few tears of false weakness?"

Valentina seemed to be frightened by Aurora's words. She was like a poor little animal, trembling. Javier saw Valentina's delicate and helpless appearance, and then compared it with Aurora's imposing manner.

"Enough! She's your sister! Can't you be nicer to her? Valentina was right. You always act so fierce towards her. I must have been blind to fall for a tomboy like you. You don't have any femininity at all!" Javier's eyes quickly scanned Aurora's body, as if he didn't want to look at her a second time. The loose clothes were like sacks, and the wide - legged pants were so baggy that her leg shape couldn't be seen. Many times, Javier felt as if he was dating a man!

Aurora tilted her head slightly and raised a beautiful smile. "When she climbed into my boyfriend's bed, why didn't she think that I'm her sister?"

Valentina started to cry softly. "Sister, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to steal Javier from you. I just love him so much that I couldn't control myself... Don't blame Javier. I seduced him into everything that happened between us. Don't quarrel because of me!"

"Javier, forget about marrying me. I don't want to make things difficult for you..."

Javier immediately hugged Valentina protectively. "Don't worry, Valentina Morales. I, Javier Fernández, will marry no one but you in this life!"

"Then I should really thank you for not marrying me!" After saying that, Aurora directly picked up a porcelain vase that Javier liked the most on the table and smashed it hard on the ground.

"Aurora Morales!" Javier roared.

Aurora's smile was bright and moving, with imperceptible teardrops in her eyes. "This is for the breakup compensation. When we were together, Javier cherished this vase very much. He seemed to have bought it at a high price at an auction. He wiped it carefully every day, almost worshiping it. Once, I just touched it lightly, and he scolded me several times."

Aurora slammed the door and left. "Javier, since we've been together for so long, let me give you a blessing. Good fortune never comes in pairs, and misfortunes never come alone. What do you think?"
