Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 . Wishes

Bruce Willer was an unassuming man living in Manhattan, New York City, on May 1st, 2024. He harbored a profound admiration for two infamous characters: Batman and Doctor Doom. What captivated him was not their moral alignment but their unparalleled intelligence, relentless ambition, and undeniable style. Recently, he had found himself trapped in a mundane routine—each day blurring into the next and leaving him with a gnawing sense of dissatisfaction. Little did he know that fate had something extraordinary in store for him.

One fateful evening, while trudging home from a particularly uneventful day, Bruce stumbled across an old, ornate bottle half-buried in the dirt. His curiosity piqued, he pulled it free and brushed away the grime to reveal an intricate design etched into its surface. What was this relic of the past doing there? What secrets did it hold? He took it with him, unaware that this impulsive decision would set in motion a chain of events that could redefine his life.

Once home in his dimly lit room, Bruce absentmindedly fiddled with the bottle, anticipation building within him. To his astonishment, he released a genie who bore an unmistakable resemblance to Will Smith—a figure who radiated charisma and confidence.

"Why do you look like Will Smith?" Bruce blurted out, a mix of confusion and intrigue coursing through him.

With a playful grin, the genie responded, "Because this is the face you associate most with genies." Then, in an unexpected twist, the genie told him that he was entitled to four wishes. Bruce's heart raced; this was his chance to break free from the monotony and harness power beyond imagination.

Without hesitation, he took a deep breath and declared, "I wish for the intellect, experience, and magical knowledge of Batman from the New 52 series, Reed Richards, and Victor Von Doom—with no drawbacks." Instantly, a surge of knowledge flooded his mind. He was transformed from an ordinary man into someone who possessed an unparalleled understanding of strategy, science, magic, and technology. The implications of this transformation left him tingling with excitement.

With three wishes remaining and his mind swirling with possibilities, Bruce quickly jotted down his next request on a piece of paper. After a few moments, he handed it to the genie. "I wish for everything written on this piece of paper to be true from this moment forth." This audacious clause stated that any force, energy, or being—fictional or real—that he selected could manifest in the world, devoid of any memories or threats toward him. The genie looked impressed, aware that Bruce had navigated the typical wish boundaries with finesse.

Elated by his newfound abilities, he contemplated his next wish. What would he do with this immense power? After a moment of thought, he voiced his desires. "I wish for ninety billion U.S. dollars, ensuring that this wealth does not come at the expense of anyone's well-being, freedom, or happiness. It should not disrupt global economies or markets, and I shall be the sole bearer of this fortune." As he completed his wish, the enormity of what lay ahead began to sink in. Bruce was no longer just a man; he was now a potent force poised to shape his destiny.

Feeling invigorated, he prepared for his last wish. "I wish for Batman's body while still looking the same." The thrill of potential coursed through him as the genie disappeared, a smile on his face as he gradually faded away.

Bruce felt the power of muscles filling his frame, confirming that his wish had been successful. He immediately utilized Doctor Doom's magical expertise to create an inventory portal. Eager to keep his secret safe, he threw the genie lamp inside and closed it tightly.

He then made his way to the bathroom, unable to contain his curiosity about his transformation. As he hurried, he noticed, to his surprise, that the normally creaking floorboards beneath his feet made no sound at all.

Upon entering the bathroom, he immediately noticed the difference brought by his wish. Though barely reaching 5 feet 8 inches and weighing around 180 pounds even in his twenties, he felt drastically different. His parents were short, and he had always lived with the expectation that he would be short too.

A sudden jolt of memory hit Bruce, washing over him with a wave of intense emotion. He vividly recalled the tragic day when his mother was taken from him. What had started as a simple outing—a trip to the local ice cream shop on a warm summer evening, filled with the sweetness of sugary treats and laughter—unraveled into a nightmare when they were confronted by a mugger. Although the perpetrator was eventually caught, the resolution provided little comfort to young Bruce in light of the mugging. After that day, he moved in with his uncle, his mother's brother, having only seen pictures of his father, and he remained there until he turned nineteen.

The haunting memory of that day lingered in his mind, marked by an overwhelming sense of loss and longing.

Now after years of not knowing what to do, he finally knew what he wanted and there was nothing anyone could do to stop him from accomplishing his goals
