CHAPTER 2:
Kai was on his way home from the hospital after they let him go. He prefers to walk home since his parents aren't always available. He lives in a decent area. Full of mansions. His family is rich.
Kai's walking down the same street where the "accident" happened. He looks at where he landed and only sees a pool of his dried-up blood. He felt nauseous and fled the scene. He ran as fast as he could, his eyes shut closed. When he opened them, he was standing in front of his house's gate. It's a large black metal gate. His legs gave in under him and he collapsed to the floor. He looks at his legs and they turned purple as if being swollen up. His legs are twisted and broken. He took the situation in, blinks, and his legs were fixed. As if they… regenerated.
"What the hell?" he whispers to himself in complete confusion.
"I don't have time for this."
He stands up and reaches for the handles on the gate. He saw sparks of lightning appear around his hand and appears in his room. He gasps, his arm still stretched out. He collapses on the mat of his room. The soft wool caressing his face and body. He's gasping for air, rolling around on the mat in agony. He coughs up blood and goes unconscious at the sight of it. When he opens his eyes you wakes up in this bed. It's the next morning. Saturday. He rubs his head in confusion and sits up right. "What happened last night?" he mumbles. He sits in his bed for a while, staring off into the distance. He still hasn't seen his parents yet, but that isn't unusual for him. He groans as he stretches and gets out of bed heading for the kitchen.
"Dad? Dad!", he yells as he walks down the stairs. His voice echoing into the hallways across from him on every side.
"Why's my house so big? Dammit. If it wasn't for all this money then my parents wouldn't have to work so much.", he thought to himself while walking to the kitchen and rustling through the cabinets.
"Mom? Mother!", he yells out for his mother this time. He looks up from the cabinet and sees a strange man walking down the hall from his parent's room. He's only wearing boxers and his father's gown. His face consorts with confusion and annoyance.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" he asks the man.
"What do you think, Kaisen?" the man replied cockily.
"Fuck you, man!" Kai's annoyance turned into anger. He picks up a knife from the table and runs to the man. Kai jumps on him, pinning him to the floor.
"What? You tryna bang me too?" the man asks with a smirk on his face, the knife in Kai's hand not scaring him.
"You pedo! Burn in hell you paedophilic woman abuser!" Kai screams as he lifts up the knife and swings it down, but the man stops it with his hand. The knife piercing right through it. The man's smirk stays intact. He grabs Kai's hand, twist it to have the knife face his chest and slowly jam it in.
"You're an arrogant little bastard. As if your father is any better than me. I'd even say he's worse. Oh, and another," the man whispers in Kai's ear while slowly pushing the knife into his chest. The knife piercing Kai's heart at this point. He's gasping for air, nose bleeding, mouth full of blood. That cold metal taste filling his mouth. His widened blue eyes staring at the man In front of him. His conscious slipping once again. The man continues to whisper in his ear.
"You know, I'd bang you if you were a girl." The man turns to face Kai and caresses his cheek. Kai goes unconscious once again and wakes up hours later in a pool of his own blood.
"Why is this happening to me. I saved a girl, why am I being punished?"
He recalls the events from before he went unconscious.
"Why am I still alive!" he screams as he feels his chest but feels no hole. He rips off his hoodie and shirt. He inspects his chest and find nothing. He sat there, taking in the scenery. The blood still dripping. The taste of metal still haunting his mouth. The coldness of his own blood soaking his clothes. He slowly stands up and cleans up the mess and makes his cereal. He finishes eating and goes to lay down on his bed, but falls into a deep sleep instead.
