Synopsis
Jinx, a 13-year-old boy, had always been overshadowed by his family’s expectations and the legacy of his bloodline. When he entered his first battle, he fought with determination but without knowing the true extent of what awaited him. Upon surviving the brutal conflict, Jinx completed his "Beginner Quest" and, in doing so, unlocked a power that surged through him like a frozen storm—ice. But as the cold energy coiled within his body, something clicked. This wasn’t just a gift meant for him. He realized, with growing clarity, that his newfound ability was tied to something far greater: it was a legacy meant not just for him but for his older brother Madara and twin Izuna as well. This power of ice was not simply a tool for battle—it was a catalyst, a force that could change the course of his family’s fate and the Uchiha clan’s future. Jinx’s awakening was a turning point, a gift from destiny that bound him and his brothers together in a way they had never anticipated. The power of ice, a symbol of control and transformation, was now theirs to wield, but with it came the weight of responsibility. In this moment, Jinx understood that his role was not just to fight but to steer the course of his family’s legacy, reshaping the destiny that had been set in motion long before his birth. The path ahead was uncertain, but one thing was clear: the fate of the Uchiha clan rested on their shoulders, and the power to change it had only just begun to reveal itself.

Chapter 1 - beginning

On a battlefield littered with the fallen, a fifteen-year-old boy sat atop a lifeless corpse, his posture unnervingly calm amidst the chaos. Unlike others his age, his appearance was strikingly feminine—delicate features framed by long black hair, creating a sharp contrast to the surrounding violence. However, what truly stood out were his eyes: bright crimson irises, each marked by two tomoe, spinning faintly with a quiet menace that hinted at a power beyond his years.

In his hands, he held a katana with a black, flower-shaped guard. The blade, ancient and steeped in an aura of death, emanated an intimidating presence. Any master blacksmith would have marveled at the sword's craftsmanship, yet the boy barely noticed its exceptional quality. His attention was entirely consumed by the glowing screen visible only to him, flickering against the backdrop of dimming twilight:

Jinx—his name now feeling strangely foreign—stared blankly at the screen, his emotions tightly bottled. His fingers gripped the katana's hilt, and he angled it slightly, his crimson Sharingan reflecting in the blade's surface. Two tomoe spun, the weight of their meaning settling in. Brief disappointment flickered across his face; he had hoped for three tomoe. But as he lingered on the thought, he realized it was for the best. Awakening the second tomoe would draw less attention and suspicion than instantly manifesting the third.

Sighing, Jinx turned his gaze back to the katana in his hands, feeling the blade's power surge through him. The weapon exuded a chilling aura—too grand for a mere name. "I need something shorter, something worthy of its power," he muttered under his breath, his tone low and deliberate.

As if responding to his thoughts, a whisper slithered into his mind, faint yet certain: "Kokushiryū" (黒死流) – "Flow of Black Death."

The name resonated with him, sending a ripple of approval through his being. He whispered it aloud, letting the syllables roll off his tongue: "Kokushiryū... A fitting name for a blade of death."

Jinx scanned the battlefield, ensuring no one was watching, before summoning his other two swords. Shusui and Shodai Kitetsu materialized, their presences undeniable. Shodai Kitetsu, with its dark, ominous energy, demanded a name that could match its intimidating aura. After a moment's pause, Jinx spoke softly but decisively: "Tenshikage (天使影) – Angel of Shadows."

With Kokushiryū in one hand and Tenshikage in the other, Jinx couldn't help but smirk. These weapons weren't just tools; they were extensions of his very will, reflections of his newly acquired power.

His eyes swept across the battlefield, the weight of his new reality settling over him. The rewards he had received—the Sharingan, cursed energy, the Devil Fruits, the legendary swords—were staggering, and yet Jinx knew the cost of power. Danger was always close at hand. With the bodies of the fallen around him, silent witnesses to his first battle, Jinx stood slowly, his resolve hardening.

But then, a memory pierced his thoughts. The faces of his brothers—Izuna and Madara—flashed before him. He looked down at the two blades in his hands and felt an odd sense of purpose stir within him. After his mother's death, it was only his brothers who had acknowledged him. His father had always looked down on him, seeing him as weak because of his fragile body and appearance. The burden of weakness had weighed on him, yet it had driven him to prove himself, to rise beyond what others thought of him.

Izuna had awakened his Sharingan just nine months ago, while Madara had unlocked his two years prior. Both were now at the second tomoe—just like Jinx himself.

Jinx's mind clicked into place, and his gaze shifted back to the glowing window. Realization hit him. He couldn't use the Devil Fruits himself, not even with the custom fruit he had created in his past life. Despite the knowledge of how one could eat multiple Devil Fruits corresponding to the number of tails, Jinx understood that his powers lay elsewhere. But his brothers—Izuna and Madara—they were the perfect recipients for the fruits. Madara's dark, sneaky nature aligned with the Kage Kage no Mi, while Izuna, whose power in Fire Release outstripped Madara's, would benefit from the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix.

Jinx thought back to the pact he had made with Madara when Madara had come to him, seeking help to awaken his Wind Release. In exchange for Jinx's guidance, Madara had given him the Great Fire Destroyer and Annihilation techniques without hesitation. It was a moment that solidified their bond, and now, the fruits would help further solidify their paths.

"Madara… Izuna," Jinx whispered, his voice a soft promise to the two brothers who, despite their differences, had been there for him when no one else was.

With his resolve set, Jinx turned away from the battlefield, knowing that his journey was only beginning. Power, vengeance, and the promise of a future shaped by his choices lay ahead. And with Kokushiryū, Tenshikage, and his brothers by his side, Jinx would carve his destiny into the world.

Ten Uchiha ninja approached Jinx, their expressions a mix of confusion and shock as they noticed two strange-looking fruits alongside three unfamiliar swords at his side. Their surprise deepened when their eyes fell upon Jinx himself. The unmistakable crimson glow of the Sharingan greeted them, but what truly stunned them was the form it took—fully evolved to its second stage, two tomoe in each eye.

"Jinx, have you been hiding your Sharingan this entire time?" the leader of the group, a seasoned jonin, demanded. His voice carried the weight of authority, laced with disbelief. "You should know better than anyone that concealing your Sharingan is a punishable offense."

The jonin activated his own Sharingan—a fully matured three-tomoe—and took a step forward, exuding menace. But before he could say another word, Jinx casually raised his hand. A shard of black ice materialized from thin air, its razor-sharp tip hovering just millimeters from the jonin's neck. The air turned deathly cold, and all ten Uchiha froze in place, their eyes widening in collective shock.

"Like it?" Jinx asked, his voice calm yet dripping with subtle defiance. "It took quite some time and effort to fight and defeat a descendant of the Yuki clan in order to mimic their bloodline limit. But since you're only following the rules my dear father set, I can't hold it against you." His tone shifted to one of mocking politeness as he melted the ice shard, letting it drip harmlessly onto the ground. "Let's go back."

Without another word, Jinx collected the swords, secured the fruits in a pouch on his hip, and joined the group. Together, they vanished into the trees, carrying the wounded and the fallen back to the Uchiha clan compound.

(Timeskip – Three Days Later)

It took three grueling days to return to the Uchiha compound, and the moment Jinx arrived, he was summoned to a meeting with his father, Tajima. The summons was no surprise—Jinx had anticipated it from the moment he revealed his Sharingan on the battlefield. Sighing in resignation, he handed two of the swords, Shusui and Tenshikage, to two household servants and entrusted the fruits to another servant. With his hands now free, he made his way to his father's office.

When he entered, the atmosphere was ice-cold. His two brothers, Madara and Izuna, stood silently on either side of the room, their expressions unreadable. The elders of the clan were seated in a semi-circle, their piercing glares drilling into him with an intensity that would have unnerved most. Tajima Uchiha, seated at the head of the room, looked down at Jinx with a gaze that was equal parts scrutiny and disdain.

"Jinx," Tajima began, his voice cold and clipped, "would you care to explain why I've received reports of you possessing a two-tomoe Sharingan, despite your knowing the rules of the clan? You are well aware of the consequences of hiding such a development—even for someone of your... status." His tone dripped with condescension, making it clear that Jinx's achievements would never measure up to his brothers in his father's eyes. "And what are these rumors about you mimicking the Yuki clan's bloodline limit? Such a feat should be impossible."

Jinx bowed his head respectfully, though a flicker of irritation crossed his face. He knew full well that if Madara or Izuna had done the same, their father would have celebrated their achievements instead of grilling them like criminals. Keeping his tone steady, Jinx replied, "Father, I never hid my Sharingan. I awakened it in the heat of battle, just moments before I would have been killed. As for the Yuki clan's ice release..." He paused, taking a measured breath. "I have no clear explanation. After awakening my Sharingan, I observed the chakra of the Yuki descendant I fought. I studied how they used their wind and water elements in harmony, and with time, I was able to replicate it myself."

Before Tajima could respond, one of the elders, an aged man named Uchiha Mako, leaned forward. His sharp eyes had caught sight of the servants standing quietly behind Jinx, each holding the strange swords and peculiar fruits. "And what are those?" Mako asked, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade. "The swords and fruits your servants carry—where did they come from?"

Jinx straightened his posture and turned slightly, gesturing to the items in question. "The swords and fruits are rewards," he said simply. "Acquired during the battle."

"Rewards?" another elder scoffed, his tone thick with skepticism. "From whom? Or perhaps what?"

Jinx's crimson eyes gleamed as he replied, "That's a long story, one I will gladly share—if the council truly wishes to hear it." He allowed a faint smirk to tug at his lips, knowing full well the intrigue he had sparked.

For a brief moment, the room was silent, the tension thick as the Uchiha clan's leaders processed Jinx's words. Tajima's expression darkened further, his fingers drumming impatiently against the armrest of his chair. "Enough games, Jinx. You will explain everything now," he commanded, his voice brooking no argument.

Jinx's smirk widened ever so slightly. "As you wish, Father."

Jinx stood there, calm and composed as the elders and his father waited for his explanation. He knew that to avoid suspicion, he needed to weave a tale that was both believable and just vague enough to avoid deeper questions. After a moment of quiet deliberation, he began.

"After defeating the Yuki clan ninja," Jinx started, his voice steady and confident, "I stumbled upon a cave deep in the mountains. It was hidden from view, nearly undetectable to any casual observer. Inside, I found these strange swords and two unusual fruits." He gestured to the objects, now carefully placed on the table before him. "The swords, I learned from an old journal in the cave, were created nearly a thousand years before the Sage of Six Paths. They are part of a ranking system that classifies swords into different grades. These three swords—Tenshikage, Kokushiryū, and Shusui—are considered the highest-ranked, with Tenshikage and Kokushiryū being Supreme Grade swords. Shusui, while not at that level, is still highly regarded, ranking just below the other two."

Jinx paused for a moment, allowing the information to sink in. He could see the elders exchange glances, the weight of his words sinking in as they processed the implications. Tajima's expression remained as cold as ever, but he was clearly listening intently.

"The journal also spoke of the three fruits," Jinx continued, picking up where he left off. "These fruits, according to the journal, possess mystical properties that could grant anyone who consumes them extraordinary abilities. They were categorized into three distinct types: Logia, Zoan, and Paramecia. The journal mentioned that, depending on the individual, the abilities could vary greatly. Even if the fruit seemed weak at first glance, the potential was always there, and the user could grow powerful, sometimes in ways that defied belief."

The elders exchanged murmurs, clearly intrigued by the possibilities. However, one elder, Uchiha Rei, a rival to Tajima and known for his sharp mind, wasn't so easily swayed.

"You speak of three fruits," Rei interjected, his eyes narrowing. "But there are only two before us. What happened to the third?"

Jinx allowed a brief pause, knowing this was a question that could trip him up if he didn't answer carefully. He stepped forward, leaning slightly on the table as if to draw them in with his sincerity.

"At first," he said, his tone thoughtful, "I didn't believe the journal's claims. So, I decided to test it myself." He glanced at the fruits, as though reflecting on the memory. "I took a fruit that resembled ice, thinking it was some sort of ice-based power, and ate it. The taste was horrendous, bitter and cold, but... after a short while, I began to feel something stirring inside me."

He could see the elders leaning forward, hanging on his every word. His eyes flickered briefly, the memory of the transformation filling him with a strange mix of awe and unease. He continued.

"After consuming the fruit, I felt my chakra flare up, but it wasn't just the chakra that changed. I began to feel an overwhelming surge of power. The fruit gave me the abilities of the Kitsune—the legendary nine-tailed fox—mixed with the power of the Yuki-onna, the Snow Woman of legend." Jinx smiled faintly, though it was a cold, calculating expression. "In time, I discovered that this fruit, the one I ate, is an exceedingly rare Mystical Zoan. It grants the user the ability to transform into a beast of legend."

He allowed that information to linger in the air before continuing, as though considering his next words carefully.

"The journal, however, also contained a warning. It stated that Zoan fruits, especially Mystical Zoans, are unpredictable. They possess wills of their own, and if the user's will is not strong enough, the beast could take control. The journal didn't specify how to avoid this, but I assume it's a matter of maintaining dominance over the transformation, never losing sight of one's self."

Jinx's gaze shifted subtly toward Rei, whose expression had turned from skepticism to something akin to genuine concern. Rei opened his mouth to speak, but Jinx quickly added, "I didn't initially trust the journal's warnings, but after tasting the fruit and experiencing the change firsthand, I believe its words were not to be taken lightly."

Tajima, silent throughout the exchange, leaned forward slightly, his expression as unreadable as ever. His gaze flicked to the fruits, then back to Jinx.

"Interesting," Tajima said slowly, his voice thoughtful but laced with suspicion. "A Mystical Zoan, and the legendary powers of the Kitsune and Yuki-onna... The implications of this are... significant."

Jinx bowed his head again, trying to mask the faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I only wanted to return with information and the fruits, Father," he said, his voice soft yet steady. "It seemed like the right thing to do after such an eventful battle."

Tajima's eyes narrowed ever so slightly, clearly processing Jinx's words. After a long pause, he finally spoke.

"You will continue to investigate these fruits, Jinx. But you will do so under the supervision of the clan. The last thing we need is someone else with power beyond control."

Jinx nodded in acknowledgment, though his mind was already racing with thoughts of how to manipulate the situation in his favor. He knew his father was wary, but that only made him more eager to prove his worth. With the fruits and swords in his possession, he had the potential to reshape his future and his standing in the clan.

As the tension in the room settled, Jinx stood straight, his expression shifting to one of calm authority. He wasn't finished yet—there was still more to reveal, and he needed to make sure everything was in place.

"There's one more thing," Jinx said, his tone deliberate. "The journal I found also mentioned two other fruits, ones that I did not consume." He paused briefly, glancing at the two fruits in question, their vibrant colors almost glowing under the dim light of the room. "These fruits, however, are meant for others... I believe they belong to Madara and Izuna."

The elders shifted uneasily, and Jinx could feel their curiosity spike. His father, Tajima, frowned, the tension in his eyes palpable.

"The first fruit," Jinx continued, "is the Kage Kage no Mi—a Shadow Shadow Fruit. According to the journal, this fruit grants the user control over shadows. But there's more. The book mentions that this fruit can also control another person's shadow, though it was unclear how that worked. The entry for this ability was damaged, with the last part of the sentence unreadable... but I could make out the final word before it ended abruptly: corpse."

Jinx allowed the word to linger, knowing it would spark intrigue—and perhaps, unease—among the elders. They all exchanged looks, the significance of the word weighing heavily on them.

"As for the second fruit," he said, shifting slightly, "it's called the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix—the Bird Bird Fruit, Phoenix model. The book described it as a fruit that grants the user control over flames that do not burn but heal instead." He paused, emphasizing the healing aspect, knowing it would catch their attention. "Additionally, the fruit grants the ability to fly, much like a phoenix itself."

There was a slight murmur from the elders. Some of them seemed impressed by the power these fruits could bestow, while others remained skeptical, their gazes colder than ever.

"Madara would benefit greatly from the Kage Kage no Mi's shadow control," Jinx continued, his voice measured. "And Izuna, with the Tori Tori no Mi, would gain the ability to heal and fly, making him nearly invincible on the battlefield."

Tajima, his expression now unreadable, stood from his seat, taking a moment to look at Jinx, then at the fruits.

"You've been busy, Jinx," Tajima remarked coolly. "But these fruits… they're far too dangerous for someone of your standing to wield on their own. I will decide what to do with them."

Jinx bowed his head, though a small, knowing smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Of course, Father. I only brought them here because I believe they belong with those most suited to wield such power."

The elders exchanged uneasy glances once more, but Jinx could sense that his plan was unfolding just as he intended. These fruits were a key to something much larger—something that would give him the edge he needed to rise within the clan. And if anyone could wield such power, it would be him, whether or not his father believed it.

Jinx knew this was his moment. With the tension in the room thick and the eyes of the elders on him, he felt a familiar, weighty presence within himself—the knowledge from his past life. He leaned forward slightly, his voice dropping to a somber tone.

"Father, there's something important you need to understand about these fruits." Jinx's eyes flickered briefly to the fruits resting on the table, then back to Tajima's piercing gaze. "These fruits… they aren't just tools. They have wills of their own."

The room fell into a tense silence. The elders exchanged curious glances, and Jinx could feel the weight of his words hanging in the air. He continued, letting his voice take on the gravity of the lesson he remembered.

"If these fruits fall into the hands of an unworthy host, they can shape and affect the user. They'll twist their will, make them weaker, turn them into a shell of their former self." Jinx's gaze hardened as he spoke, his eyes darkening. "Madara, as powerful as he is, has always struggled with balancing his darker instincts. And Izuna... well, he's becoming reckless. These fruits may just be the destiny that fits them perfectly."

Jinx's voice softened as he mentioned his brothers, but his words carried conviction, like he was speaking of something far beyond simple power.

"The journal I found, before it was destroyed by age, had a passage about these fruits—the Devil Fruits—and how, in rare cases, they can lead to a state called awakening. This awakening… it amplifies the abilities to godly levels. It allows the user to reshape reality itself—change the terrain to their will." He paused, allowing the weight of that idea to sink in. "But the book also cautioned that there was no confirmed way to reach this 'awakening.' The author wrote that the body and mind of the user must align with the fruit for the process to succeed."

Jinx stood still, his presence commanding as he pressed on.

"But there's another danger," he said, lowering his voice, allowing the words to hang in the air like a threat. "These fruits are called Devil Fruits for a reason. Eating one renders you vulnerable. If the user comes into contact with sea water—just the slightest amount above their chest—it renders them powerless. Weakened to the point of being helpless, unable to fight, to move. And you can only eat one fruit in your lifetime."

He let his final words settle like a heavy blow. The elders were now quiet, each absorbing the implications of what Jinx was saying. It wasn't just about power—it was about survival, about mastering a dangerous force.

"If Madara and Izuna are to unlock their full potential with these fruits, they must be worthy," Jinx concluded. "But if they are not, these fruits will shape them into something else entirely. Something dangerous. Something lost."

Tajima stared at Jinx for a long moment, the weight of his words sinking in. The silence that followed was thick with contemplation. Finally, Tajima spoke, his voice calm but tinged with the bitterness of uncertainty.

"You truly believe that these fruits are the key to their futures, then?" Tajima asked, his gaze never leaving Jinx.

Jinx nodded slowly. "Yes, Father. The fruits are not just gifts—they are tests. And they may be the only way for Madara and Izuna to survive the future. But they must master them... before they lose themselves to their will."

There was a long pause, but eventually, Tajima's expression softened, just a touch.

"Very well," he said, his tone still cautious but slightly more contemplative. "We will see how these fruits affect my sons. But remember, Jinx, if things go wrong, it will be you who must answer for it."

Jinx's expression remained stoic, even as he nodded. He knew the risks. He always had. But this was the path he had chosen. This was the way forward.

And with that, the tension in the room eased, though Jinx knew that his actions were now set into motion—whether it led to their destruction or ascension, only time would tell.
