He comes closer to you, speaking so that the others cannot hear him.
"I think there's something living down here. There are mine shafts all over the Wicklow hills, and some of them probably connect with these caves. I think a deer or a fox or something must have fallen down a shaft and isn't able to get out. That's what we're hearing. But don't tell the others. They're on the verge of running as it is. The horrible underground-dwelling mutant deer would probably be the last straw. Our secret, right?"
