Pirate Jenny is persistent, and it takes several increasingly forceful nudges to convince her that you really do not want to be her friend.
Cormac, looking on, shakes his head ruefully. "She won't come anywhere near me. Scratches like mad if I try to pick her up."
Cormac talks about his plans for the future. He plays the fiddle and sings, traditional folk music. He wants to start a band and travel the world.
"London, Paris, New York, even Tokyo maybe. I've heard there are Irish pubs in Tokyo. They must need people to play in them. That'd be mad, me playing Irish music in Japan someday."
His green eyes are shining now. He doesn't look as much older than you as he did before.
I am enthusiastic about Cormac's ideas and join him in building castles in the air.
I listen but am noncommittal.
I ridicule Cormac's ideas.
