Alex Boris, just an American high school boy that loves science and technology and is working on his project, 'the timemath'. A watch that he is working on to help solve advanced problems. Well, obviously that's not easy to invent, he couldn't possibly make it, or could he? Well he has been trying for literally ages but there is one key thing missing in his watch, but he does not know what, so he tries literally everything, and then this is where things get interesting.
His dad, Mr. Boris Bose is watching the news. "Dad, has there ever been one day you have lived without watching the news?" Alex asked. "Come on Alex, this one is interesting, it something about spaaace." His dad says with excitement and fun mystery. "Ugh, fine." Alex grumpily says as he tries to watch. The newswoman says, "The show of the night, an interstellar cosmic reaction will form and drop debris on the earth's surface, tonight." then Alex thought to himself that he could try the debris on his missing part of the timemath.
"Dad, I'll be right back.' Alex says excitedly. 'Alright son, but there might be some more you want to know.' Alex went to his room, doing calculations and he found out that the event would be happening very soon. He borrowed so much books from the school library that he became a genius.
April 26, 2018, the day of the event, he had already planned everything accordingly. He set out and saw the beautiful debris falling, he was in the cold region, but in the hot region, the debris would melt to very expensive liquid. People around the world were making their money. But Alex didn't care about the money, then he tried the debris on the watch. The watch started to glow and decrease in temperature, but he managed to catch the watch eventually. He put the watch on his hands, and he felt the math power, flowing in his veins. But it was fake.
"Time for our math test". Mrs. Mary said. She is the mathematics teacher, for the whole of New York College School. And you'd have to break ten sweats to get A's on her exam. Because of Alex's so called 'working timemath'. He was proud to take the test. Well it was not as if he is not smart; Mrs. Mary just gives smarter questions. On the first question, Alex was totally confused. 'Is this math? Feels more like death', he said. 'Well, that's why the timemath is here'. He secretly clicked on the touch screen of the watch expecting it to scan the questions, but immediately he touched it, time and eternity froze. He did not realize at first until he wanted to use the bathroom and asked for permission. 'Mrs. Mary, please I want to use the restroom'. But there was no response. 'Uh, Mrs. Mary.' Waving his hands at her face and trying to realize what was going on. 'Can, you guys see this?' he asked his fellow friends and then realized that they were also frozen. 'Uh, Mike, George', calling out to his friends. Then he found out that this strange thing happened when he touched his watch. He reversed it by touching the watch, and then everything came back to normal. 'The watch must be connected to time and space itself', he whispered. 'What's that you're cheating Alex', Mrs. Mary said. 'No ma'am…', 'You know I never expected this from you, but guess what, you just got a permanent F.' Mrs. Mary jumping to conclusion did not care Alex's feelings.
'Mom, I'm back', Alex said in a sad tone. 'Sweetie, everything alright, why are you feeling down'? His mom asked. 'Nothing.' Alex said refusing to tell the problem. 'How's that watch you were making'? 'Yeah, it's good, it's great. 'Now you go take a shower and then you can go play, since this is the last day of the first semester.' His mom said.
Alex put on the shower but forgot that his watch was on. 'Oh. NO', the watch started to malfunction. And start messing around without control. After the shower he slept for some hours, woke up and got ready to play with his friends. He had found out that he could spoil the watch by playing so before he started to play, he kept his watch in his locker and then went out to play. He played all day until bedtime and the next day, they went shopping.
'Honey, where are the car keys', Alex's mom asked his dad. 'I can't remember'. His dad said. 'Found it!' Alex exclaimed. This was literally what Alex's family did every Saturday and he was hoping to get a safer place to keep the watch. But, Alex did not remember where he kept it. 'We're kind of in a hurry Alex.' His mom said. 'What's wrong you looking for something?' his dad asked. 'Yeah, it's my waa… ter! My water.' His mom and dad spent a lot of money on the materials for making that watch, so he did not want them to find out that he had misplaced the watch, and even worse it had malfunctioned. The worst one as that it could be anywhere in any one's hand messing with reality. On the way to the shopping mall, he had butterflies in his stomach. Up until he found George in his dad's car wearing THE SAME KIND OF WATCH. Lucky for Alex, they were going the same place. He had never seen the watch before on George's hand. "GEORGE, what the hell are you doing with my property? We'll meet in the shopping mall. George did not know what he was talking about, though he was tense. Obviously, that was not Alex's watch, or was it?
Alex, moved by the anger of betrayal he marched slowly but angrily into the shopping mall waiting for the presence of George. When the parents had gone, Alex tightly held George's hand. 'How dare you? How dare you…' He was stopped by the song that was sang by the watch when he held it (mistakenly pressed a button) and then realized it was not his, then he sorrowfully apologized.
