Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4: THE ICE ARENA

The cold, crisp air filled the arena, the ground a perfect mirror of frost. At one end stood Liz, the powerful ice elf, her elegant beauty amplified by the wind, her long hair fluttering like snowflakes. At the other, Vincent stood lazily, his stance relaxed but his eyes glinting with mischief.

Vincent (teasing): "So, the great ice princess is ready to play? Let's see if you can keep up with me."

Liz's eyes narrowed. She wasn't here to banter; she was here to win.

Liz (coldly): "You talk too much. I'll make you regret underestimating me."

Before the battle could even begin, the three NPCs started whispering among themselves, ogling Liz with unrestrained admiration.

NPC 1 (whistling): "Good lord, look at her. She's so beautiful, it's like staring at the moon... can you imagine the frostbite if she kissed you?"

NPC 2 (laughing): "Man, if I got that close, I'd probably freeze solid just by breathing her air!"

NPC 3 (grinning): "Don't talk, just look! Maybe if we stare long enough, she'll notice us. Hell, I might freeze myself just to get her attention!"

They kept going, their laughter loud, their comments vulgar. But suddenly, the door swung open, and a group of maids entered the arena, their presence commanding the attention of everyone. The NPCs froze, their lewd comments dying in their throats.

Maid 1 (eyeing them coldly): "Do you think it's funny to talk like that?"

The NPCs tried to backtrack, but before they could, the maids closed the distance with frightening speed. In seconds, they were dragging the three NPCs off the floor, slapping and kicking them with practiced precision. The NPCs squealed in pain as the maids beat them into submission.

Maid 2 (smiling sweetly): "How dare you speak about her that way."

The maids left them whimpering, their clothes a mess, while the crowd fell into a stunned silence. Liz and Vincent shared a brief glance, then the fight began.

The Battle Begins

Vincent drew his sword and took his stance, his eyes filled with mischief.

Vincent (mocking): "Alright, princess. Let's see if you can freeze me with that ice of yours."

Liz (seriously): "I'll make you regret those words."

In an instant, Liz launched an attack, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. Ice spikes shot toward Vincent, faster than he could react. But Vincent smirked and easily dodged, his body moving with fluid grace, as though he were dancing around her attacks.

NPC 1 (watching in awe): "Did you see that? He didn't even break a sweat!"

NPC 2 (excited): "Damn, he's fast! That dodge was on another level!"

Liz narrowed her eyes and summoned a massive ice wall, which she shattered into countless razor-sharp shards, all aimed at Vincent. The shards flew like arrows, but Vincent was already gone, appearing behind Liz with a burst of speed, his sword slashing toward her back.

Liz (grinning): "Too slow."

She spun around, her ice magic swirling in the air to form an ice barrier just in time to block Vincent's strike. But he had already anticipated her move. With a swift kick, he shattered the ice barrier, sending Liz stumbling backward.

Vincent (smiling): "I'm just getting started."

As Liz tried to regain her balance, she conjured a blizzard, a flurry of icy winds and snow enveloping the entire arena. It was a stunning spectacle, the air so cold that even the NPCs shivered in their seats.

NPC 3 (staring in awe): "Whoa, look at that! She's bringing the full force of winter!"

But Vincent didn't flinch. Instead, he began moving through the blizzard with uncanny ease, his sword slashing through the snow and ice with precision, each movement calculated. He wasn't just dodging—he was dancing around her attacks, his speed and agility making it seem like the blizzard was an afterthought.

Suddenly, Vincent stopped, his grin widening.

Vincent (playfully): "Is that all you've got, princess? You should be more creative."

With that, Vincent dashed forward, disappearing in a blur. In the blink of an eye, he reappeared in front of Liz, his sword glowing with energy. He swung with lightning speed, a blur of motion that Liz could barely track.

Liz raised her arms to block, but Vincent's sword shattered her ice shield, the force of the blow knocking her off her feet. She fell hard to the ground, her body skidding across the ice.

Vincent (smiling): "You're good... but you're still not good enough."

The Bet

As the battle raged on, the NPCs, watching from the sidelines, couldn't contain themselves anymore.

NPC 1 (shouting): "Hey, hey, I'm placing a bet! If Vincent wins, I'll shave my head, but if he loses—that cutie will sleep with me!"

He pointed dramatically toward one of the maids, his eyes full of expectation. The other two NPCs swung their long hair in unison, as if it were the most natural thing to do.

NPC 2 (grinning): "That's right! If I win, we all get a piece of that prize!"

The maids, who had been watching the fight intently, suddenly turned their attention to the NPCs. Their expressions turned dark.

Maid 1 (scowling): "You three have learned nothing, have you?"

With swift movements, the maids rushed toward the NPCs once more, dragging them away, leaving them wailing in protest.

Vincent (mischievously smiling): "Tch. A bet, huh? What makes you think I'll lose?

The Final Strike

With the distraction out of the way, Vincent turned his focus back on Liz. He could see her weakening, her movements slower now as the blizzard began to fade. It was time to end this.

Vincent's smile turned even more mysterious. He raised his sword high, and in a flash of light, it crackled with energy, glowing brighter than ever before.

Vincent (muttering): "Here's a little something to finish this..."

With a single motion, he unleashed a powerful sword strike—The Shattering Gale. The blade cut through the remaining ice, creating a shockwave that shattered Liz's defenses completely. In the blink of an eye, Liz was knocked to the ground, unable to react.

Liz lay on the ice, her breath coming in short gasps, defeated but still holding onto her pride. She looked up at Vincent, who stood tall, his sword resting on his shoulder, his smile victorious.

( All npc head is shaved by Cody all npc are insanely shocked , Cody is surrounded by maids and he is laughing)

As the battle drew to a close, Vincent stood over Liz, his grin wide and mischievous.

Vincent (smirking): "Well, looks like you're not ready for the big leagues, cutie now I Guess that means you're officially part of my collection now.

Rose, you're next—are you ready to be my slave too?"

Cody ,knights , maid npc all become angry and disappointed

His words echoed through the arena, playful yet dripping with confidence. Liz, breathless and defeated, glared up at him.

But before she could respond, a powerful presence filled the arena. A shadow stretched across the ground, dark and imposing.

The crowd fell silent as a tall figure appeared at the edge of the arena, his face obscured, but the glint of his sword unmistakable. The aura around him was suffocating, as though the very air trembled in fear.

Sword Saint (in a deep, commanding voice): "Young man, I challenge you to a duel."

The air hung heavy with tension as Vincent's mischievous smile slowly faded, replaced with a rare look of caution. Liz, still catching her breath, turned her gaze to the figure.

The stage was set for something far greater.
