Chapter 1 - The Final Word and The Final Goodbye

The vengeance of the hunt will fall upon them...-Jing Yuan The General Of The Xainzhou Luofu

The people of Atlas were running towards the portal to escape to Vacuo, while in the air were Weiss and Penny in Weiss's Queen Lancer summon, trying to gain distance from Cinder, who was after Penny for her winter maiden powers.

Penny decided to devise a plan to let the rest of the people escape and buy time for them not before being shot down by Cinder and falling onto the floor with both of their Aura broke on impact, Cinder landed in front of them. Cinder lands before them, smirking, and Penny sees Weiss hurt. Penny stands protectively in front of Weiss

"I'm right here. I'm what you want!" Penny yelled getting Cinder's attention away from Weiss.

"I want it ALL." Cinder then uses her fall maiden powers to charge at Penny, but not before Blake kicks her in the face. Cinder is kicked away to the side, and Blake urgently looks at Weiss.

"Get Up!" Blake yelled.

Weiss who is shocked at Blake coming out of nowhere, Weiss does so, grabbing Myrtenaster and the Staff. She then runs off as Blake and Penny stand to face Cinder.

Meanwhile on another platform, Ruby continues to fight Neo. Neo eventually kicks Ruby to the ground, causing her Aura to flicker. Neo slowly approaches as a voice yells out to Neo.

"Leave her alone!" Weiss yelled, gaining Neo's attention as she slid in using her glyphs and knocked Neo through a portal with the Staff.

Cinder saw what happened to Neo and saw Penny going for her. Cinder then used her fall maiden powers and threw a fireball at Penny as she blocked with her blades.

Then Cinder used her fall maiden powers to make a fire blast on the floor, which Blake had to back away from due to the extreme heat. Cinder followed up with a heel kick, causing Blake to fall off the platform.

Penny abandons the fight to fly and catch Blake while Cinder goes to where Ruby and Weiss are. Weiss then grabbed Ruby's hand and pulled her up from the floor.

"Come on we have to do this for Yang!" Weiss said trying to give her teammate a confidence boost.

While both of them did not notice Cinder was above them With Penny and Blake out of the way, Cinder targeted Ruby and Weiss next. With a smirk, Cinder used her maiden power on the floor causing energy to appear on Ruby and Weiss's feet.

Noticing the explosive energy building beneath their feet, Weiss forced the Staff into Ruby's hands and pushed her away just before a blast hurled her upward. Weiss' Aura breaks as she lands.

"Weiss!" Ruby yelled out in concern.

Neo then returns to attack Ruby, coming through a portal knocking Ruby off the path, and seizing the staff. Ruby manages to land on another path but loses her grip on Crescent Rose, and falls into the void.

"No!" Ruby yelled out as she watched her weapon fall into the abyss.

Ruby then turned around slowly to where Neo was and Neo was looking at her with indifference while holding the Staff Of Creation.

Neo then enters a portal and closes in on where Ruby is while Ruby backs up slowly and looks back to realize she is on the edge of the void she then looks at Neo.

"Whatever you wanted to do..." raises her hands and looks at Neo with a straight face. "I hope it was worth it." Ruby said as she closed her eyes and fell backward as Neo lunged, using her Semblance Ruby then circled around, attacked Neo from behind, and knocked her off the path.

However, before Ruby can catch the Staff, Cinder attacks her from behind, blasting her over the edge and breaking her Aura. As she falls, Ruby grabs Neo, hanging from the path's edge. Neo reached toward Cinder for help, only for Cinder to steal the Staff Of Creation from her and kick her umbrella off of the ledge down to the void, and look at Ruby.

"You should have never threatened me, and you should have never been born," Cinder said, her voice filled with disgust. She then turned to Ruby, just as Ruby prepared to use her Silver Eyes.

However, before Ruby could unleash their power, Cinder broke her grip with the Staff, preventing her from attacking. By striking Neo's hand with the staff, she caused Neo to let go, leading both her and Ruby to fall.

Blake and Penny witnessed the event, their eyes widening in horror.

"Ruby!" Blake and Penny shouted in unison.

As Neo and Ruby fall, Penny tosses Blake toward Ruby while Cinder sees this and gets angry and hits Penny with a fireball but fails to hit Blake. Blake catches Ruby and uses Gamble Shroud to swing them toward safety, but Cinder severs Gambol Shroud's ribbon with a fire blast. Ruby, Blake, and Neo plummet into the void.

Blake looked at Cinder for a moment, and suddenly her mind was filled with chaotic thoughts—everything from Cinder's role in the Fall of Beacon to her alliance with Adam and the White Fang. She even remembered Yang falling into the very void that both she and Ruby were currently facing.

Then, out of nowhere, Blake felt a force push her. It was Ruby, who had just pushed her gently. When Blake turned to Ruby, she saw her smiling, and her eyes widened in surprise. Blake noticed that Ruby was saying something, but she could read her lips perfectly at the moment.

"I'm sorry..." Ruby mouthed as Blake remained confused about her feelings, not understanding why she felt the need to apologize in the first place.

But then everything went black. It was an endless void—nothing to see and nothing to grab or touch. Blake found herself in the middle of nowhere, floating amidst golden particles that danced in the air. She could see the stars up close; they were beautiful yet strange. In front of her was a portal, similar to the one Yang's mom had, but different.

Before she could react, she was pulled into it, unable to move or fight back she was then thrown into a place covered with stars and rocks floating everywhere.

A shiver ran down her spine as an explosion erupted from the portal behind her, knocking her away from the portal. At that moment, she turned around to see the portal behind her tearing apart.

At this moment in time something catastrophic had befallen her world, caused by a being known as an Aeon. Unaware Blake felt utterly exhausted, as if her body had given up. Finally, her eyes closed, granting her the rest they desperately needed.

Blake woke up to find herself floating in space. She gazed at the beautiful stars, which shone more brilliantly than any she had seen in Remnant. Suddenly, she noticed a shooting star streaking across the sky, looking like an arrow piercing through the darkness, racing toward its target like a bullet.

"Beautiful... It's like a shooting star," Blake said in amazement as she reached out to touch it, but it was far from her grasp.

She then heard a sound behind her and turned around. She saw a huge figure, tall and majestic, resembling a valiant prince adorned with a crown. THEY possessed centaur-like features, taking the form of a man combined with an equine below the waist, while the hind legs were replaced by wheels of a chariot and holding the giant bow above their heads.

"A Mortal...here in the stars this is something...You are different...You are not from here, are you?" They spoke in an indifferent tone but there was a hint of amazement in there.

Blake couldn't process anything. Her instincts were screaming at her to move, to run, and to avoid fighting whatever was in front of her. This was the first time she had ever felt such intense fear, even surpassing what Adam had done to her. She was so terrified that she couldn't even bring herself to move.

All Blake could do was wait and see what would happen next; she was frozen in place, unable to escape even if she wanted to after all she didn't even know how she was even breathing in the first place.

"So, you are the presence I sensed from somewhere; now you are here," they said, moving a little closer to inspect Blake. "I'll help you escape from this place, for no mortal should be trapped here. However, I sense great potential in you, and I must ask for your assistance. I need you to be my Emanator and confront the abominations of the Abundance. You will be the final obstacle in their path. Do you accept?" They asked as if they were offering something truly special.

Blake remembered what Jinn had shown her about Ozpin's past and the deal he made with the God of Light, which did not end well for him. He was forced to reincarnate every time he died. She realized that making a deal with a god could be risky, but she was desperate to survive and return home. The alternative was dying alone in space. After weighing her options, Blake decided to go through with the deal and become an Emanator. What was the worst that could happen?

After all, there was no other choice...

"Very well, mortal. I thank you for your help and the necessary introduction, for I am the Aeon of the Hunt, and my name is Lan. I will keep a close eye on your duties, so hold still; this might hurt." Lan said as they shot their arrow into the sky. A white light, like a shooting star, ascended and then began to descend towards Blake.

"Shooting star... like the one I saw. It's beautiful," Blake said in amazement as she reached out to grab it. Suddenly, it exploded into particles, drifting toward her and entering her body. To her surprise, it didn't hurt at all, contrary to what she had expected.

Then, a searing agony tore through her, not just in her body but deep within her soul, as if something primal and merciless was clawing it apart. The pain intensified, a relentless force shredding her from the inside out, unraveling her very essence thread by thread.

It wasn't just suffering it was as if molten lava had been poured into her veins, melting away who she was and forging something else in its place. Every nerve ignited in torment, every bone felt like it was splintering, and through it all, she could feel something foreign invading, consuming, becoming her.

What Blake didn't know was her aura was the cause of it since her aura was foreign and was an anomaly it was being forced to sleep like it was never there and sealed away and then the pain stopped as Blake was breathing hard and gasping for air even if Lan helped her be able to breathe in space.

What Blake didn't realize was that her aura the very essence of her being was the source of her agony. It was an anomaly, something unnatural in the eyes of whatever "The shooting star" had gone into her body.

And so, her aura was being forcefully silenced, smothered as if it had never existed, locked away in the deepest recesses of her soul. Then, just as suddenly as if the torment had begun again, it ceased.

The unbearable pain vanished, leaving her gasping, her chest heaving in desperate attempts to fill her lungs—even though Lan had already ensured she could breathe in the void of space. But it wasn't just air she craved. It was the feeling of herself, of being, and she could feel it slipping further and further away.

"I need you to travel to Planet Izumo soon. I sense a dark presence there, and a conflict may arise. I recommend creating a new weapon during your time on that planet. I'll send you there. Good luck, my new Emanator of the Hunt." Lan said as he looked at the sky and disappeared like a shooting star following the stars toward its next destination.

Blake fainted from exhaustion as a white light enveloped her unconscious body, teleporting her away from the empty space where she had been floating. When she eventually woke up, she found herself in an area that had a distinctly Japanese feel, surrounded by traditional buildings. As she took in her surroundings, she noticed a hand in front of her face and looked up to see a concerned person standing over her.

She wore a traditional white kimono adorned with a red obi around her waist, complemented by traditional Okubo sandals. On her head, she sported two red horns, with the right horn longer than the left. Her bright violet eyes featured black diamond-shaped pupils, accentuated by red eyeliner.

"Are you alright you don't seem to be from here...do you remember your name?" The woman asked in concern as she saw the injuries that Blake had.

"I'm good, thanks," Blake said with a casual smile, shaking off the confusion. She took the woman's hand to help herself up from the cold floor. Looking her straight in the eyes, she continued, "I remember who I am, but I'm curious—who are you?" Her tone was relaxed but direct, ready to find out more about her.

"I apologize for the interruption. I'm Raiden Bosenmori Mei. You're on Planet Izumo. What is your purpose here?" Mei asked.

"I need a new sword crafted. I've heard this place is the best. Please help me," Blake pleaded as she revealed the remnants of Gambol Shroud left after her battle with Cinder.

"Welcome to Planet Izumo. Please try not to cause any panic; things aren't going well right now," Mei informed Blake. She nodded in agreement, promising not to say or do anything that might create a disturbance.

"Thank you. My name is Blake... Blake Belladonna," Blake introduced herself to Mei.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Blake," Mei said with a smile, as Blake smiled back, and things seemed to be going well so far.
