Smoke filled the air, making it hard for her to breath. But fourteen year old was glad of the excuse it gave her to close her eyes. Across the room, the one had brought her there caught her eye and nodded in understanding. She closed her eyes, bur the tears still gathered behind her tightly shut eyelids. All these years... So much heartache...They are the reason for our pain... Because of them, we lost each other... Her thoughts whirled about like blinding flashes about her head, and she remembered her friend, the one who stood opposite her. To think I doubted her. I'm glad we're the only ones here today. From home at least. She quickly corrected, as an elbow almost slammed into her. On the opposite side of the room, her friend beckoned. She started walking in that direction, shaking away her distracting thoughts. Upon her arrival, her friend whispered,"Our first priority must be the children. Now, I would expect you to understand that we cannot contact the Council in the time that we have." The fourteen year old reluctantly nodded. "So it seems that the only way to get to them is to get attention." "Really, little one?" Her friend asked, a wry smile on her face. "Focus, my dear. Think like a Jedi." The teenager sighed and closed her eyes again. When she opened them, where there had been frustration and despair, now there shone determination. "Got a plan?" The lady looked at her friend with expectancy and a slight pride. "You bet." The girl replied. "Here's what we'll do."
