Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Looking down at the pocket watch in his hand, Lu Ji was surprised. In an instant, he swung out his other hand:

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The left side of the building - and even the glass of the building across the street - shattered simultaneously under the sheer force of a powerful gust of wind.

And who caused this devastation? None other than Lu Ji himself.

For a long moment, he stood there in shock...

"This kind of power..."

His vertical pupils fixed on the scene of destruction he'd single-handedly caused. It felt certain - like a dream - but deep down, he knew it was reality, no matter how absurd it seemed.

The sheer destruction he had caused surprised him but also made him happy about his newfound strength. Although he lacked a clear benchmark, one thing was sure:

Even though he hadn't reached the level of an ancestor yet, his fighting ability now exceeded that of a high-ranking captain - a level comparable to the original male number two, Hundred Nights Mikaela Hyakuya.

"Blood Marquis." After confirming his strength, Lu Ji's anxiety subsided, and his thoughts shifted. The massive contribution values that allowed him to purchase the "Blood Marquis" came from an unlikely source - Hanabatake Yoshiko.

At first, he hadn't paid much attention to her. She seemed... inconspicuous. But in just one week, she had accumulated over 20,000 posts for him.

He scrolled through the chat group's history, but something was wrong. Yesterday's activity was far below expectations.

"How could it have dropped so drastically?"

Was it fatigue? Boredom? Or just too much hoarding?

The sharp decline dampened his spirits. Contributions were vital to his goals; if Yoshiko's activity waned, it could spell trouble.

To clear things up, he decided to ask directly.

[Lu Ji]: "@Hanabatake Yoshiko"

After a tense pause, an answer finally came:

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "Yes, I'm here!"

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "Are you looking for me to have fun? (excited.jpg)"

Lu Ji sighed.

[Lu Ji]: "Forget it. This game is only for like-minded people."

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "Hey?! Are you not a human but a legendary demon?! (More Excitement.jpg)"

Amused yet annoyed, Lu Ji got to the point.

[Lu Ji]: "I'm here to Gain some Activity Points. The System Shop has released a delicious banana, and I'd like to try it."

The mention of the banana set Yoshiko off.

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "Invincible Tasty Banana?! Where is it? Have you bought them all already?!"

Lu Ji explained the requirements.

[Lu Ji]: "You need at least 1,000 Activity Points to unlock it. How many do you have left?"

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "None left. (Kneeling and crying in pain.jpg)."

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "I'll get more points! Swipe the screen! Swipe!"

Watching her frantically swipe the screen, Lu Ji felt relief and concern. Something seemed wrong with her speed - it was prolonged.

After another direct question, the truth was revealed.

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "My tongue is numb from answering the messages from earlier."

"Your tongue?" Lu Ji was stunned.

Then she sent a photo.

It was a medical report that said:

"Muscle strain due to prolonged activity of limb joints. Temporary cast recommended to prevent further damage."

The realization hit like a truck.

"Is she... typing with her tongue?"

Lu Ji muttered, "This probably doesn't count as a Work injury. There's no contract..."

Despite himself, a pang of guilt crept in.

In the end, he sent her another message:

[Lu Ji]: "Take your time. Don't overdo it."

[Lu Ji]: "And clean your screen often."

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "Eh?"

[Lu Ji ]: "Otherwise, your mouth will rot."

[Hanabatake Yoshiko]: "Eh?!"

Looking at the prompt that suddenly popped up, Lu Ji did not show too many strange expressions as he waited for this moment.

As the chat group leader, Lu Ji knew very well that he could only rely on the system to become stronger, so naturally, he put in a lot of hard work researching the functions of the group system.

The "Seven Day Random World" that appeared before him was the group owner's regular way of inviting new members. This function is just like its name—the system randomly selects a world every seven days. The group owner can travel to the world for three days and send group invitations to any world member.

In short, it was a way to recruit new group members.

In addition to the activity of the group members, another criterion that determines the output of the contribution value is the number of members in the group. The more members, the more contribution value will naturally increase.

Therefore, Lu Ji wouldn't voluntarily let go of any Seven Day Random Worlds!

"Confirm travelling."

Along with Lu Ji's confirmation, the system again prompted a prompt.

[System Alert: This randomized world is Blood Thirsty Raid. The group leader will head there in a minute, so please get ready.]

[System prompt: countdown begins 60s…59s…58s...]

After confirming that the world he would be travelling to this time was Bloodthirsty Raid, Lu Ji sighed heartily:

"I'm so attached to vampires, huh..."

"Besides, the setting of these bloodsuckers...

Couldn't it have been written by someone here?"

Shaking his head to dismiss irrelevant thoughts, Lu Ji focused on the world he was about to enter.

Blood Thirsty Raid was a vampire-themed world renowned for its powerful "True Ancestors." In fact, its combat power far surpassed that of the world of "Seraph Of The End."

Therefore, even with his Blood Marquis abilities, Lu Ji knew he would need more power to survive in this dangerous world.

When he clicked on the group owner's shop, he saw his contribution value of over 4,000 points and fell silent.

Of course, he couldn't permanently increase his strength quickly, but he could buy a powerful consumable.

Thinking about this, Lu Ji typed "life preservation" into the search bar. But before he confirmed it, he paused.

At that moment, he realized that he wasn't travelling as "Lu Ji" but as the "Group Master" of the chat system.

In other words, his every word and action represented the system itself.

This was important to Lu Ji because the impression he left as the group leader would determine how new members perceived the group.

Deleting his previous search, Lu Ji typed "killing technique" instead. A long list of items appeared, but his attention was immediately drawn to a striking icon: a pair of red gloves labelled "Must Kill - Serious Punch.

Instantly, his heart was moved, and he clicked on the item.

[

]

Seeing the discounted price, a knowing smile spread across Lu Ji's face. Since the system seemed to support him, he purchased the Sure Kill - Serious Punch without hesitation.

The system countdown reached zero.

Standing in the ruins of an abandoned building, Lu Ji suddenly vanished, leaving nothing but a bloody reminder of his enemies.

World: Blood Thirsty Raid.

Time: Third period between classes

Place: Tokyo Chord God City, Color Sea Academy - Teacher's Office Building, Top Floor.

On the top floor of a lavishly decorated office, a gothic "girl" sipped her afternoon tea, frowning slightly. Her vermilion lips parted as she muttered to herself, glancing out the window with a troubled expression.

"An unknown spatial fluctuation?"

Though she hadn't sensed any unusual magical power emanating from the island, something far more menacing was approaching from the underworld - like the descent of a true vampire ancestor.

This presence was so powerful that she believed it was accurate rather than ignore it.

With a flick of her wrist, her teacup fell onto the tray, and the office suddenly emptied.

Meanwhile, in the bustling commercial district of String God Island's central area, where crowds of people streamed through the streets, a figure dressed in black appeared out of nowhere, unnoticed by most.

But soon, his distinctive, elegant attire and handsome face caught the attention of the passersby and stopped them in their tracks.

It was Lu Ji.

Though his appearance had been altered with subtle changes to his features, he had deliberately created this new image of the "Group Master." Gone was the vampire's wickedness, replaced by a mysterious, elegant persona.

As Lu Ji scanned his surroundings, he realized the effect of his presence. Though his eyes, though red, held no more mystery than a normal human's, that didn't stop the curiosity around him from growing.

Smiling, he held out his gloved hands to show the crowd they were empty.

With a flick of his wrist, his hands slowly separated, and out of nowhere, a black wooden stick appeared, drawing gasps from the crowd.

"Is this street magic?!"

"Did he hide it in his sleeve?"

"Is it some kind of enchanted object?"

The murmurs swirled around him until a child's voice cut through the air.

"Big Brother, can you make a flower?"

Lu Ji glanced down and saw a little girl in a blue dress tugging on a young woman's sleeve as they weaved their way through the crowd toward him.

Smiling, Lu Ji held out his hand, and in an instant, a bright red rose appeared, with dew drops clinging to its petals.

"Really... really blossomed!"

The little girl's face lit up with excitement as she leaned closer, eager to receive it.

But instead of handing it to her, Lu Ji passed the rose to the young woman behind her.

"May your beautiful face always be like this rose."

The woman blushed, clearly confused, and whispered a soft "thank you" as she took the rose.

The scene caught the nearby adult males' attention, exchanging knowing glances and smiles.

But Lu Ji wasn't finished.

Reaching above his head, he plucked something from the air: a budding pink flower, twisting its leaves before bringing it to his mouth with a crisp click.

The crowd gasped, realizing that the flower was just candy and not a real flower.

"I hope every day of your life is as sweet as this flower."

The little girl's earlier disappointment vanished, replaced by an innocent, bright smile as she giggled with joy.

T/N

Also, I'm not 100% sure of the world he's going to. I'm a nerd, not all-knowing. I'm 80% sure it is Strike the Blood, but as I have no real idea, I will keep the translation name of the world to—> [Blood Thirsty Raid]. As I have no real idea of the world he is in, and as I don't want to confuse any of you guys, I'll keep the original translation of what it is.

For anyone that wants to read the raw, this is chapter 7-8
