The ride back to Sam and Emily is in silence, Callie still in shock that her and Jared are going to be parents. The little bean on the monitor at Carliles office confirming it. Callie mindlessly rests her hand over her stomach a million things going through her mind. The fact that she phases she didn't think it was possible for her to conceive now her and Jared are going to be parents before either one is twenty. Tears fall from her eyes just as Jared pulls up to the house. He turns to her and takes her hand into his.
"Baby whats wrong?"
"I am so sorry. I didn't think it was possible for me to conceive if i had known then i would of...."
"Hey baby listen us having a baby is exactly what i want. okay so it wasn't planned but baby I want you and me and a family. This is not going to be a bad thing baby if that is what you are worried about."
"I don't want to lose you, I can't do this on my own baby."
"You aren't going to be on your own babe. I am with you one hundred percent."
"Are you sure this is what you want?"
Jared moves closer to her and as an answer he crashes his lips to hers. The love he feels for her flows into her. When they pull apart they are both smiling. Jared takes her hand into his and says lets go. The two get out of the car and walk into the house hand in hand. Everyone is sat around the table laughing and joking when they notice the two walk in. Callie kisses Jared and says she is going to go up stairs and change. Jared watches as she leaves and feels his heart ready to burst yet again. He can never get over how she amazes him with everything she does. Sam and Paul look at Jared worry etching on their faces.
"Jared is everything ok?"
"We will wait for Callie to come back down before we can say anything."
They are about to say something when Callie walks back down in her PJ bottoms and Jareds hoody. She goes to stand by her mate and he wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her against him.
"So as you all know we went to see Carlisle. He found out what is wrong and i will need to be going for regular check ups. Also i can't phase for a while but i should be okay to use my powers. Carlisle is going to look into for me."
Sam and Paul furrow their eyebrows, a million things going through their minds as to what could be wrong with their sister.
"Baby girl what's wrong?"
Callie and Jared look at each other and Callie nods for Jared to tell them. He kisses the top of her head and then turns to the pack.
"The reason for Callie having stomach problems is because of something good. Me and Callie are going to be parents"
In a split second the pack are cheering and jumping out of their seats to congratulate the two. Callie and Jared are the ultimate couple so to hear that they are going to have a baby is an amazing thing in their eyes. Sam pulls Callie to him and kisses her head.
"I am so proud of u tink. I hope you know you can stay here you don't have to leave."
"Thanks Sam. Ilove you."
"love you too."
Paul is the next to congratulate her, and he is beaming with pride.
"I am going to be the best uncle ever I won't let you down baby girl I promise."
"Thanks Paul. I love you"
"love you too."
Sam and Paul then look at Jared giving him the look that could kill a thousand people. Jared gulps and looks at the two.
"Remember you can't hurt me. "
Paul and Sam step closer to him Callie trying not to laugh.
"You got our sister pregnant!! We need a little chat with you."
Before Jared can protest the two lead him outside whilst Emily tells Callie to take a seat. They ask to see the scan but Callie hides it.
"There is one more surprise. As soon as Sam and Paul have finished scaring Jared we will tell you."
Jake shouts for Sam and Paul to hurry up. The three boys walking back in a moment later smiling, Paul and Sam tapping Jared on the back saying welcome to the family. Jared sits beside Callie and takes her hand into his.
"Time for surprise number two?"
"Yeah. They have been asking to see the scan."
Jared chuckles and then kisses her nose before they turn to their family.
"There is one more thing. When Carlisle listened to the heartbeat he picked up three heartbeats in the room. Mine, Jareds and the babies. However when he did the scan he found something amazing."
"We are having twins."
Jared suddenly shouts in excitement. Everyone sits there shocked Not one new baby but two, this is amazing. Emily looks to Callie and takes her hand.
"No matter what i am always here to help you. When the boys are patrolling you can count on me to help."
"Thanks Emily that means alot."
The two hug and then Paul says celebration time. Him and Jake head out to get take away and some beer to celebrate the news of the next generation of wolves being produced. Jared and Callie head over to his mums whilst Sam calls teh council members to tell them the news. Now more than ever they need to make sure that Callie is protected.
Callie and Jared are sat at the kitchen table in his moms house, Callie has never been so terrified in all her life. The fact that Melody hasn't spoken straight away puts Callie on edge. When Melody jumps up and crushes Callie to her however she is taken aback.
"I am so happy for you both. Callie i can never thank you enough for how happy you have made my son. No matter what I am here to help. Oh my god i am going to be a grandmother to twins this is great news."
Callie can't help but laugh, the truth is her and Melody have gotten closer over the past months since her and Jared started dating. Melody idolises Callie and she is one of the select few that knows the truth to what they are.
"So what does this mean for your duties?"
Melody is now sat down and smiling like an idiot at the two.
"I can't phaze until after the twins are born. Carlisle said that my powers can still be used and he will do regular check ups to make sure that everything is okay. He hasn't dealt with a pregnant wolf before so all this is new to him too."
"Well i can tell you that Jared grew at a normal pace as human babies do. How far gone are you?"
"I am six weeks. Melody i just want to assure you i didn't do this to trap Jared i honestly thought it wouldn't be possible for me to conceive."
"Sweetheart you and Jared are not some love sick teenagers you are soulmates. This was going to happen and okay it may not have been planned but no one will think you have done this to trap him. Everyone can see the love you guys have for each other."
"Thanks Melody."
Callie excuses herself and once she is out of ear range Jared looks to his mom who is smiling knowing exactly what he is going to ask for.
"You want your grand mothers ring?"
"How did you..."
"Baby boy I know you well enough to know that you have been wanting to ask her the moment you met her. She makes you happy and for that i am eternally grateful. When are you thinking of doing it?"
"Our one year anniversary is coming up so i was thinking then. The day that I imprinted on her and the day i knew she was the one for me."
"That sounds lovely. Where are you going to do it?"
"The spot we were when i imprinted and is also the same spot we had our first date."
"Look at you being all romantic. You really are a lucky boy Jared. Treat her right otherwise i will kick your ass."
"Ain't you supposed to be sticking up for me?"
"Nope. Now get your girl home and look after the three of them."
Once Callie comes back from the bathroom her and Jared leave heading back for Sam and Emily's. When they pull up they see Sam and Billy talking out on the front porch. As Callie gets out of Jared's truck Billy smiles. He takes her hand into his and places another on her belly.
"This is fantastic news princess. You are going to make wonderful parents."
"Thank you uncle Billy."
"Three Quillette blood lines joined into one. This is amazing and never heard of before. I promise you both that you and the kids will be protected for life."
"As long as no one imprints on them we will be fine."
Callie playfully slaps Jared in the gut.
"Babe the worst one to imprint on them is my brother therefore he can't imprint on our children so be thankful."
Jared laughs and pulls her to him and places a kiss on her forehead.
"That is true baby. God i am so lucky to have you and now we get two mini us running around. I love you so much baby girl."
"I love you too babe. More than you will ever know."
The two kiss and the pack and council cheer. The love they have for each other is unbreakable and no matter what live throws their way Callie and Jared know they can do it as long as they have each other by their sides.
