"This should be it right?" I muttered standing in front of an apartment complex.
Or is it an estate given it's a group of large buildings near each other.
Ah what the heck, you get the point. Anyway the place is huge.
This is where cadets live after classes. Looking at the email I received on my phone, I nodded confirming.
This should be building 1. The complex had a total of seven buildings, each building having a minimum of seventy rooms.
Of course out of said seven buildings, only six of these were used by the regular cadets.
The buildings were numbered 1-7. Building 1&2 for the first years.
Building 3&4 for the second years. And building 5&6 for the third years.
Building 7 was for the top ten ranking cadets of each year as well as the cadet council and disciplinary committee.
Anyway I was assigned to building 1, room 50.
Which is where I was currently standing in front of.
I walked inside the building, towards the receptionist handing her my ID.
"I want to check in please". I said as I stretched it towards her.
She took it from my hands and inputed the details into the computer.
After a few minutes, she handed me a key card and said, "Welcome, Mr . Nathaniel Hunt. Your room is on the fifth floor."
She then signalled for some of the porters to come help with my luggage.
I then headed towards the elevator. As the doors slided open, I walked in, the porters following close behind with my luggage in tow.
I then pressed on the [5] button on the elevator as it's doors closed and lifted us up the floors.
After a minute or so, we arrived at the fifth floor.
Luckily my room wasn't far from the elevator. So after walking out, I reached the door almost immediately.
I then placed the key card on the door handle. A soft click resounded and the door opened.
I entered inside the apartment and wow. That was all I could say.
The room assigned to me was quite large. There was a bedroom, a balcony, a living room, heck there was even a kitchen connecting to the living room.
The apartment was also furnished well with all the necessary furniture. It even had a TV as well.
Man. These guys really went all out with the place didn't they.
"Sir. Where should we place these?". I heard one of the porters call out to me asking.
I turned to face him. Yikes I had almost forgotten they were here.
"Just put them in the living room. I'll arrange them myself later." I said.
The porters nodded and began carefully offloading the boxes containing my things.
When they were done offloading the luggage, they handed me a form to sign.
I signed it and handed it back to them. They then gave a polite bow before leaving.
Haaa. I sighed, falling to my bed as the soft mattress enveloped me.
I'm really here aren't I? Inside my favorite novel. And inside as the most notorious of the antagonists. Nathaniel Hunt.
Even though it's already been a week since I came here, it still feels surreal.
Shit. For the past week, I had wracked my brain trying to remember how it was possible that I was here.
Terrans couldn't use magic and Fantasians have no reason to reincarnate me inside a Terran's body especially with the knowledge I possess.
And even if it was a fantasian, a regular mage wouldn't be powerful enough to cast a magic as powerful as reincarnation magic.
For that they would at least have to be white core or perhaps above that as it was hinted that there was a realm above that but who knows.
Anyway, point is, someone who is at the very least a white core mage brought me here.
Reasons unknown. Motive unknown. Objective unknown. Identity unknown.
A powerful being knows about me and yet I have no idea who he or she is.
In other words I'm fucked.
