Chapter 16 - Continuation of Daniel empire

After leaving Daniel's office, Parker returned to his own office, his mind still reeling from the events that had just transpired. As he sat down at his desk, he couldn't help but think about Emma and how he was going to apologize to her.

He knew that apologizing to Emma wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to do it. He wanted to make things right with her, and he was willing to do whatever it took to achieve that.

As he sat there, thinking about Emma, Parker's mind suddenly wandered to what girls loved the most. He thought about all the things that Emma might like, and a sly smile spread across his face.

"Flowers," he thought to himself. "Girls love flowers." He picked up his phone and dialed the number of a local florist. "I need a bouquet of flowers delivered to a school," he said. "Something special, something that will make a girl's day."

The florist on the other end of the line assured Parker that they would take care of it, and Parker hung up the phone, feeling a sense of satisfaction. He was going to apologize to Emma in style, and he was going to make sure that she knew how sorry he was.

With the flowers taken care of, Parker's mind turned to the apology itself. What was he going to say to Emma? How was he going to explain himself? He took a deep breath and began to rehearse his apology, determined to get it just right.Parker suddenly picked up the phone and dialed his secretary's extension. "Hey, Sarah, can you come in here for a minute?" he asked.

Sarah walked into the room, a curious expression on her face. "What's up, boss?" she asked.

Parker hesitated for a moment, feeling a bit awkward. "I need some advice," he said. "I've, uh, offended someone. A girl. And I want to make it right. Can you tell me... how to please a girl you've offended badly?"

At first, Sarah didn't react. She just stood there, looking at Parker with a neutral expression. But then, a small smile began to spread across her face.

"Well, boss," she said, "I think I can help you with that. Girls love all sorts of things, but here are a few ideas. Flowers, of course. Chocolates. Jewelry. A thoughtful letter or poem. A surprise getaway. Really, it's all about showing her that you care and that you're willing to listen to her and make things right."

Parker nodded eagerly, taking mental notes. "That's great, Sarah. Thank you. What else?"

Sarah thought for a moment. "Well, some girls love it when you cook for them. Or when you surprise them with their favorite food. Others love it when you listen to them and really hear what they're saying. And some girls just love a good apology. A sincere one, that is."

Parker nodded again, feeling a sense of determination. He was going to make things right with Emma, no matter what it took.Parker's eyes lit up as he remembered something he had overheard while he was at Daniel's head office. Emma was going to attend the prestigious Roselle Music Academy. He recalled Daniel mentioning how proud he was of Emma for getting accepted into the academy.

A plan began to form in Parker's mind. If Emma loved music enough to attend a prestigious academy, then maybe she would appreciate a thoughtful gift related to music. He decided that he would get her a beautiful music set to apologize for his past mistakes.

Parker quickly picked up the phone and dialed the number of a high-end music store. "Hello, I need to order a custom music set," he said. "Something that would be perfect for a talented young musician. I want it to be the best, most beautiful set you have. And I need it delivered to the Roselle Music Academy by tomorrow morning."

The salesperson on the other end of the line assured Parker that they would take care of it, and Parker hung up the phone, feeling a sense of satisfaction. He was going to make things right with Emma, and he was going to do it in a way that would show her how much he cared.

As he sat back in his chair, Parker couldn't help but feel a sense of nervous excitement. He was really doing it. He was taking the first step towards making amends with Emma, and he was hopeful that it would be the start of something new and positive.Meanwhile, at Emma's part of the story, she was having a conversation with Roselle, her guardian. Emma was expressing her desire to live alone, citing that she didn't want to be a disturbance in Roselle's house.

Roselle listened attentively to Emma's concerns, a warm smile on her face. "Emma, you're not a disturbance at all," she said. "You're like a daughter to me. But I understand your desire for independence."

Roselle thought for a moment before speaking up again. "I have an idea," she said. "I have a portable house that's just a short walk from the music academy. It's fully furnished and equipped with everything you need. Would you like to live there?"

Emma's eyes widened in surprise, and then a smile spread across her face. "Really? That would be amazing, Roselle. Thank you so much!"

Roselle smiled back at Emma, happy to see her so pleased. "You're welcome, dear. I'll have the house ready for you by tomorrow. You can move in and start your new life as an independent young woman."

Emma nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and gratitude towards Roselle. She knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in her life, and she was eager to see what the future held.

Little did Emma know, Parker's apology gift was on its way to the music academy, and it would be waiting for her at her new portable house. The fate of their reconciliation was about to take an interesting turn. Two days after Emma relocated to her new house, she came home from school to find a beautiful flower delivery waiting for her at the doorstep. She picked it up, admiring the arrangement of fresh blooms, and noticed a small piece of paper attached to the bouquet.

Curious, Emma unfolded the paper and read the message scrawled on it. "I'm deeply sorry for my past mistakes. I was blind and selfish, and I hurt you in ways I can never undo. Please forgive me."

Emma's eyes widened as she read the message, her heart skipping a beat. She had no idea who could have sent such a heartfelt apology, and there was no name or signature to give her a clue.

Despite the anonymity, Emma felt a pang of emotion as she read the words. It was clear that whoever had written this message had done so with sincerity and regret.

Emma took the flowers and the note inside, placing them on her kitchen table. She couldn't shake off the feeling that this message was somehow connected to her past, but she couldn't quite put her finger on who might have sent it.

As she sat down to think, Emma's mind began to wander to the people she had hurt or wronged in the past. Could it be someone from her school? Or maybe someone from her past who had been hurt by her actions?

But one name kept popping up in her mind, a name she hadn't thought of in a long time. Parker. Could it be him? Emma's heart skipped a beat at the thought, and she felt a mix of emotions swirling inside her.Emma was sitting at home, trying to compose a song to upload to her new website page on social media. She had just opened the page and was excited to share her music with the world. As she strummed the chords on her guitar, she heard a knock on the door.

"Who could that be?" Emma wondered, getting up to answer the door. She opened it to find two men standing on her porch, carrying a large crate.

"Hi, is this Emma's residence?" one of the men asked.

"Yes, that's me," Emma replied, curious about what was going on.

"Great, we have a delivery for you," the man said, handing Emma a clipboard to sign.

As Emma signed for the delivery, she couldn't help but wonder what it could be. She hadn't ordered anything online recently, and she didn't have any friends or family members who would send her a surprise gift.

As the men opened the crate, Emma's eyes widened in shock. Inside, she saw the most expensive live musical instruments she had ever laid eyes on. There was a grand piano, a set of drums, a saxophone, and even a harp.

"Who sent this?" Emma asked, stunned.

One of the men smiled and said, "A rich and wealthy man sent this to apologize to you. He said he'll come visit you next time himself."

Emma's mind was racing with questions. Who was this mysterious man? And what did he have to apologize for? She looked at the instruments again, feeling a mix of emotions. She was grateful for the gift, but she was also curious about the person who had sent it.

As the men left, Emma couldn't help but wonder if this was somehow connected to the flowers and the apology note she had received earlier. She felt a sense of excitement and anticipation, wondering what would happen next.Parker was sitting in his office, scrolling through his phone, when he saw a notification pop up. He tapped on it to see what it was, and his eyes widened in surprise as he realized he was on a music platform. There, in front of him, was a music recording titled "Apologize".

At first, Parker thought it was just a coincidence, that it was just a song with a similar title. But as he looked closer, his eyes landed on the profile picture of the singer. His heart skipped a beat as he saw Emma's face staring back at him.

Parker's eyes scanned the page, taking in every detail. The song had just been posted, and it already had a few hundred views. Parker's curiosity got the better of him, and he tapped the play button.

As the music began to play, Parker felt a lump form in his throat. Emma's voice was hauntingly beautiful, and the lyrics of the song spoke directly to his heart. It was as if she was singing directly to him, apologizing for the pain he had caused her.

But as Parker listened closer, he realized that the song wasn't just an apology - it was also a message of forgiveness. Emma was singing about letting go of the past and moving on, and Parker felt a sense of hope rise up in his chest.

He listened to the song again and again, feeling a sense of wonder and awe at the beauty of Emma's voice. He knew that he had to see her, to talk to her, to apologize in person. And he knew that he had to do it now.Emma was cooking in the kitchen, the aroma of her favorite dish wafting through the air, when she heard a notification on her phone. She wiped her hands on a towel and walked to the living room to check it. As she opened her phone, she was bombarded with a flurry of notifications.

Curious, Emma navigated to her music page to see the song she had recorded. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw the numbers: 4.5 million followers, 10 million likes, comments, and shares, and a staggering amount of money earned - over five hundred thousand dollars - all in under 6 hours.

Emma's jaw dropped as she stared at the screen, her mind struggling to comprehend the sheer scale of the numbers. She had never imagined that her song would resonate with so many people, or that it would generate such a massive amount of income.

As she scrolled through the comments, Emma's eyes welled up with tears. People were sharing their own stories of pain and forgiveness, and how her song had helped them heal. Others were praising her talent, and thanking her for sharing her gift with the world.

Emma felt a sense of gratitude and humility wash over her. She had written the song as a way to process her own emotions, and to find closure. She had never intended for it to reach so many people, or to have such a profound impact on their lives.

As she sat there, surrounded by the notifications and comments, Emma felt a sense of peace settle over her. She knew that she had made a difference, and that her music had touched hearts and minds. And in that moment, she knew that she had found her true purpose.
