Suddenly from the phone. The old man raised his head from the book, and looked at the phone that was ringing on the table beside him.
He picked up the phone and said, "Hello?"
"Hello, are Mr. Hegai Hiroko's relatives with me?"
"Yes, I am his father
"I'm a doctor from Sendai Hospital. I'm calling you about your son and his wife."
"What happened to them?" he said in a trembling voice.
They were injured in a traffic accident on the highway, and are now in intensive care.
The old man couldn't believe what he heard. His son had been in a car accident? How could this be possible?
"Is he okay?" he asked loudly.
"We don't know at the moment"
The old man answered the phone: "Okay, I'm coming."
The old man put down the phone and his wife, who was listening anxiously, asked, "What happened? What did they say?"
"Our son and his wife were in a car accident and are in intensive care. I need to go to the hospital immediately."
The wife takes a deep breath and says, "We will go with you. We will pray for their healing."

The couple and the child were shocked by this terrible news, they felt.
