Bella clashed swords with Edward, their blades ringing out as they fought. Lady Victoria watched from the sidelines, a cruel smile spreading across her face.
"You're a fool for trusting him," Lady Victoria spat at Bella. "He was always meant to be mine."
Bella's anger flared, and she struck out at Edward with renewed ferocity. But Edward was a skilled swordsman, and he parried her blows with ease.
As they fought, Kieran appeared at Bella's side, his sword flashing in the light. Together, they fought against Edward and Lady Victoria's guards.
The battle raged on, the sound of clashing steel and the scent of sweat and blood filling the air. Bella fought with all her might, determined to defeat Edward and Lady Victoria.
But despite their valiant efforts, Bella and Kieran were vastly outnumbered. They fought bravely, but they were slowly being pushed back.
Just when it seemed that all was lost, a group of reinforcements arrived, led by a familiar face.
"Captain Orion!" Bella exclaimed, her heart leaping with joy.
Captain Orion, the leader of the king's guard, charged into battle, his sword flashing in the light. Together, they fought against Edward and Lady Victoria's forces.
The tide of the battle began to turn, and Bella felt a surge of hope. They might actually win this thing.
But just as they were gaining the upper hand, a dark figure appeared on the horizon. Malakai, the dark sorcerer, had arrived.
Bella's heart sank. They were in grave danger.
Malakai raised his hands, and a bolt of dark energy shot towards Bella. She raised her sword, but she knew it would be no match for Malakai's magic.
And then, just as all seemed lost, Kieran leapt forward, his sword flashing in the light. He deflected the dark energy, saving Bella's life.
But as he did, he was struck by a second bolt of energy. He fell to the ground, his body motionless.
Bella's world went dark. She had lost Kieran, her friend and ally.
And now, she was alone, facing off against Edward, Lady Victoria, and Malakai.
The battle was far from over.
Bella knew she had to keep fighting. She summoned all her strength and charged forward, determined to defeat her enemies.
But as she fought, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Edward seemed hesitant, unsure of himself.
And then, just as Bella was about to deliver the final blow, Edward spoke.
"Bella, stop!" he cried. "I'm not your enemy."
Bella's eyes narrowed. What was Edward playing at?
But before she could respond, Lady Victoria intervened.
"Silence, Edward!" she spat. "You'll do as I say."
Edward's eyes flashed with anger, and for a moment, Bella saw a glimmer of the brother she once knew.
But then, Lady Victoria's magic took hold, and Edward's eyes went blank.
