There's a famous story the spread among to the realms of mortal,demons & ghosts.
It's a tale of unity gods & demons once set aside their eternal differences to complete a shared tasks: capturing a single woman. But she was no ordinary woman. A demon.
This demoness had killed gods long before, taken the life of the only son,crown price of Demon emperor Yue Sha. She had stolen his identity reigning as the crown prince of demon realm for years. She known to be cruel, heartless, a disgrace to all women. Her hands were stained with the blood of the one who had loved her most.
For all her crimes her,punishment was severe : a thousand bolts of lightning followed eternal confinement in a cave beneath the realms. It was said that she perished unable to endure the torment. His death was celebrated as a victory by all.
Yet, a question remained.
Is she truly dead? Did anyone witness her. demise with their own eyes? A young voice broke the heavy silence in a young man's voice broke the heavy silence in a dimly lit inn. Before he could finish. Lang Ru Lan interrupted, his eyes flashing with anger. I'm not invested- I just know why Gods & Demon alike would unite to stop one woman what was the reason, i didn't consider that one ?!!
Shi Huan, the leader of their group, stepped in to mediate before the conversation could escalate. His calm voice cut through the tension."We didn't come to mortal realm to argue over ancient legends", he reminded them. Through mind lgently in his soothing voice said to Yi Xi Lan ,"Don't forget why we're here. First,focus on our mission". Don't let any distraction sway you". Shi Huan then turned to the group" We've rested enough.. Let's contine, we can't afford to be late!"
The group rose from their seats, gathering their things and heading out onto the night. But as they left inn. Yi Xi Lan couldn't shake the thoughts swirling in his mind. "Was she truly cruel and evil? How do we measure evilness and goodness? What were the reason for her actions? "His mind raced with the questions tugging at his conscience.
Shaking his head, he muttered to himself "Why am I even thinking about this,. But after this mission I will surely check on this story reality. Lets forget it now.

Far away deep within the heart of a dark forgotten cave, a woman sat motionless Her once regal green and blue robes embroided with gold were torn and faded. Heavy chains, inscribed with ancient spells bound her wrists & ankles, preventing any movement. Her long hair framed het face, while her beautiful eyes but lifeless, stared the void
"What did I do wrong?"she whispered, her voice hoarse from countless screams "What.. What did I do to deserve this?"
She had asked the same question over and over, but the silence of the cave answered her with nothing but echoes. She clenched her fist abd digging into her palms.

Her voice broke as she closed her eyes, and memories flashing across her eyes.
