"Mommy, Mommy! What's going on with you and my scumbag dad? Are you back together?" Kane asked, trying to get some answers.
From what he had observed over the past few days, he was starting to think the so-called scumbag wasn't so bad.
Aside from his weird mood swings, he was rich, good-looking, and treated kids well…
"Watch your language, kiddo. There's nothing going on," Chantelle said gently.
"But I think he likes you, Mommy!" Kane said with a grin.
"Hmm?" Chantelle raised an eyebrow, now curious.
"Why do you think that?"
"The last time I drew a little tortoise on him, he took me to the hospital right away because he thought I had ADHD. But when you drew a big tortoise on him, he didn't seem to mind… I think he actually liked it," Kane said seriously, sharing his thoughts.
"He was just being polite because he was in our home. Don't overthink it, Kane. I don't like him anymore!" Chantelle huffed.
