Our life changed when Mother told us that we could no longer leave the house and that in fact, no one could know that we were at home.

When I was little I remember that we were only allowed to go to school, to learn the things that Mother couldn't teach us, but then we could only stay at home. Mom always told us that the world is dangerous, that people are bad and that only at home were we safe, together with our mom.

She was always very worried about us, but during the years Mom's concern had become more and more. She started making us miss a few days of school, my brother and I were happy, so we could stay at home with mom to play and watch TV. But then some years ago Mom said that school had also become too dangerous and full of bad people, so to be safe we ​​could just stay at home.

For a long time it was me, my brother and mom. even though we couldn't leave the house we were happy, because we were with our Mother, but for a year now, mother has become really too worried. Mom said we no longer needed to stay in the house to be safe, and that no one should know we were there.

We moved a couple of times but it wasn't enough to ward off the Devil. Mother told us that the only thing we could do was pretend we weren't at home so the Devil wouldn't get us, and so we did. For a year now we haven't turned on the lights, we haven't looked out the windows and above all we can't make any noise. if we fail to respect the rules our Mother punishes us because she told us that it is the only way to chase the Devil out of us.
